Ordered their Pho Tai (Rare Steak) and wow was it exactly what I wanted it to taste like. I'm a San Diego transplant so finding this Pho place and it being just as good as I remember in a more Asian-crowded city, is pretty amazing. The pho broth is clean to the palette and what I mean by that is it wasn't greasy with too much oil. The noodles were a good texture, not too soft or not too hard, just right. I like my pho on the spicy tang side so you can never go wrong with all the extra sides they give you. I think this place will be my go-to Pho place now. The prices are fair and the quality of the pho is great, plus they give you quite a lot of meat and I LOVE meat. Highly recommend this for good pho!! read more

Ever since moving here from LV it has been so hard trying to find some quality Pho. Seeing that PT Pho Express was new and by my house I decided to give it a try. I wasn't quite as crazy about this place as the previous reviewer although I will certainly give it another chance. They appeared to be somewhat understaffed and our food took some time to arrive. For most vietnamese restaurants the acid test is the pho, and it was nowhere near as good as what I had in Vietnam. We would have preferred iced tea to drink, but they didn't have any, and there was clearly something not right with the syrup/carbonation ratio on the soft drinks. Well it is possible that we just happened to visit on an off night, and it's only been open a few days. Will try again in a few weeks after things have settled down. read more

Awful. I should of known I was in trouble Christmas Holiday paint on windows still up in Mid February. I wanted to like the place close to my house but the Pho broth was some of the funkiest soup I have ever smelt. I doctored up with chili sauce and Thai basil but the stench still creeps thru. Noodles were good. The rice was good on the dish which I sampled and decided just to throw away. 30 dollars down the garbage disposal. They have a four star rating which shocks me. I has spent over an hour trying to decide what to have for lunch. I've been to this place before, but I wanted to try your chicken fried rice. It is by far the best chicken fried rice I've ever had. I honestly I'm not surprised that the quality just went south in this place.. let's put it this way if you are craving good authentic Vietnamese food this is definitely not the place! I always say that with the restaurants Consistency is key in maintaining patrons to always come back but Somewhere along the line they just lose track of what got them there in the first place and everything just starts to turn to crap..! the broth on the pho was just horrible.. smelled like it was sitting for days and then served.. had a sour taste.. he seems the banh min sandwiches Are made by McDonald's (although that may be a bit of compliment) I remember when they used to be fresh and had more meat in them. Their spring rolls turned looked like they were made by cigar rollers.. after tasting Vietnamese food on many different levels in different establishments, I would have to say this is a very poor example of what it should be.. I went in for lunch and no one was in the restaurant to even seat us so we sat on the opposite side of the restaurant because all the tables were taken by other people and two tables were dirty. We were asked to move to a different table then asked to move again because they use that table for to go orders. No customer service was provided just, "can you guys go sit over there?" So we moved to another table then the little boy comes out and says "can you guys actually go sit over there?" Like others I've been waiting a long time for them to open. The ambiance was wonderful and ultra clean. Quiet is good for an older generation patron. Staff was excellent. Very friendly explaining the pho dishes and the very odd Lucky Buddha beer, which was very good. ,Being a beer drinker I think I would a couple of craft brews would go nice. IPAs, Porters, Stouts. Brews also needs to be served in real beer glasses not plastic coke cups. I ordered the Brisket Pho. Big bowl worth with lots on noodles and beef. Along came a plate with a large sprig if mint, sprouts, limes and jalapeños. All was excellent, but the broth a tad bit sweet. So much I had to take a lot home for the wife. She loved it. We live in this neighborhood and come to this restaurant three to four times a month. The food is outstanding and we have tried just about everything. Their Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee are also well worth the trip. The reason I am giving it a four instead of a five is because the last two times we have been here they have been out of Boba. Additionally, the service is inconsistent in that they rarely bring all entrees at the same time and forget utensils or get orders wrong. Although, they are very friendly and neighborly. Definitely recommend if you don't mind the things I've mentioned. read more

This is a regular spot for us! So we decided to see if it was any different doing carry out during COVID. They got it right once again! The chicken wings could be a little bigger. They were very small but had a good taste to them. Everyone else enjoyed their food and it was prepared the way we requested.
