I don't live close to this office but the care I receive and the quality glasses they make make it worth the drive every time. Dr. Hoffman cares about me as a person and he explains everything going on with my eyes. I have some medical issues and he takes the time to talk with my general practitioner and my ophthalmologist. Wide selection of frames. Good quality lenses. I have a very strong prescription and my glasses are light...no coke bottles here! I have never had to wait for the doctor. Go here. My experience with PS Optometry was very pleasant. I was able to make an appointment around my work hours (8-5) which was a huge help and the staff was very informative and courteous. I would recommend this company to others and I would definitely go back. My eye issues are not as pronounced as some people (only for night time driving and computer work) but they treated me with the same amount of care as anyone else. The doctor was extremely informative, even giving me tips regarding my allergies concerning my eyes. I had a very good experience here. read more

Dr. Hoffman is great! I found him through my fiance. He has been to this optometrist for years. Dr. Hoffman is very professional and takes his time during the appointment. He makes sure you are comfortable and you are left with no questions or uncertainties. He is the first optometrist I've been to that holds a preventative approach and attitude. Everything he notices and sees that can potentially become a problem in the future, are brought to your attention. He suggests exercises (homework) to help prevent it from worsening and holds potential to eliminate any current problems. Overall, Dr. Hoffman is patient and cares for your wellbeing. Best place for children and the whole family. My young children were treated with respect and careful attention was made to be sure it was comfortable for them on their first visit. I had heard about PS Optometry through an Amazon local deal. I didn't really expect much above Walmart service... they blew my expectations out of the water! Dr. Hoffman gave me a thorough exam, as good as my Ophthalmologist would. He went over my medical history and current issues, including medications and sleep apnea and how both can affect the optic nerve. As for the office staff, they are very friendly and approachable. They do not pressure you into buying something that you do not really like or cannot afford. As for the selection and prices... they have a wide variety/selection of frames to choose from; something for every budget. They offer a wide variety of lens options as well. I am pleased with my new glasses! Oh My Gee!!! I can see!!! One more thing... When I picked up my glasses today, I noticed a sign that said. Dr. Hoffman gives FREE eye exams to all babies. Seriously, what Doctor does this?!?! No one does anything for free. Guess what.... DR. HOFFMAN DOES! FREE EYE EXAMS FOR ALL BABIES! Dr. Hoffman is a doctor who really cares! read more

For a small, family-owned facility this place is very impressive. Dr. Hoffman was very honest with me about how, despite what I was told and nearly convinced to do by a Lasik specialist, Lasik surgery would not be a viable option for my condition. I greatly appreciate Dr. Hoffman's integrity and professionalism. The frames I purchased from here are also very stylish and seem to fit my "petite" (narrow) face well- It's been over two years since I bought them and my husband still remarks occasionally how much he loves my frames! This is a family run place and I know how hard it is to own your own business. The doctor is so great that I hate leaving a bad review. He is incredibly patient, knowledgable and overall a very friendly guy... his staff (siblings) aren't quite the same. I was completely rushed into getting a set of frames after my exam by the doctor's brother. I'll admit I took my time because the selection isn't the greatest and because not many frames are suitable for my bone structure (comfort wise). I kept insisting that I would let him know when I was ready so he could help others or take a break. Instead, after pushing several frames in my face he went to the back room and gossiped about me with the other lady (sister I'm assuming). There was no one else there and I heard everything. I was so uncomfortable. I just wanted to get out of there but I had already received my exam and had a prepaid voucher so I needed to use it up. I ended up picking some plain ol' basic frames and placed the final order . When I came back a few days later the glasses were fine and I should've been all set... but I wasn't. I was charged an additional fee for a service I didn't request nor approve of. I was so done with this place (and the rude staff running the front office) that I just paid the extra charge and left. Never again. Such a terrible experience. 5 stars for the Doctor... -3 for each rude sibling and for the poor selection. read more

Walked in with broken and (i thought) probably irreparable glasses. Walked out 10 minutes later with fixed and tightened glasses. I wasn't even charged. Was only asked to consider using them for frames and lenses in the future. Due to my insurance situation I probably can't but the next best thing I can do is tell everyone they should. Wonderful service. Over and beyond what I expected. I was so happy to finally find an eye care center that I felt was worth my time. Bad experiences for the last 5 years hoping to find a great Dr. that is really doing his job. Found my new prescription sun glasses in less than one min. I was advised to try on a few more pairs that I also loved but went back to my first choice. The last place I tried on 20 pairs and still wasn't satisfied. They have the best selection already set up. They also give you the best contact's - no just a cheap brand so they can make money. They cleaned my old glasses- yes he took them apart and cleaned them then tightened them for me. I was so happy. How kind. I'm so happy and relieved that I no longer have to worry or have issues for my family's eye care. Yes we are a customer for life and I will be looking forward to the visit each year just to hang out with this family. I would also give 10 stars if I could. YAY. I love this family. read more
