Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Got a recommended ro check this place out and thankful for the suggestion. The space is absolutely beautiful. I ordered the Matcha Latte snd chocolate chip almond cookie and was able to get work done and met some really nice employees. Milan and his colleague Carson who were attentive and friendly. Since I used my own Hotspot I did not have to worry about the time limits given for wifi. Other Yelpers shared it was difficult to find since its in a unmarked building but I found it ok. Maybe the heads up helped me know what to look for. Loved how airy, light, and green the space was. The live plants were everywhere. There is a great amount of seating options. Whether its a casual coffee, lunch or hard-core study session it has a spot for all.

If you saw my review of Sophia's, you know I was blown away by their cappuccino--and the secret was the beans! Today, I went straight to the source: Provision on Missouri. This place is the epitome of quality in a stunning, shared-office architectural marvel. The Unique Detail: Provision has a dynamic I haven't seen anywhere else. It's an open-floor plan with a gorgeous second-floor loft space and lush, strategically placed plants that make the whole room breathe. It's part of a shared creative office space, which gives it this "productive-yet-relaxed" energy. The Atmosphere: We come here for study sessions every week! On Thursday nights, the trivia crowd descends. I'm not a trivia person myself, but I absolutely love the buzzing atmosphere while I sit and read. The Sip of the Tour: I drove all the way here for one reason: the Cappuccino. Why? Because they simply have the best-tasting coffee of my tour so far. It is the gold standard for my "plain cappuccino" test. The "Craft" Factor: Beyond the beans, they have a full cocktail bar with reasonably priced craft cocktails. I've had dinner here a few times too--their simple salad with chicken is exactly what I look for: healthy, fresh, and consistently pleasing. I swing by here whenever I'm in the area. It's officially the benchmark for flavor on this tour! Return Factor: 100% #PHXCoffeeShopTour #1CupAtATime

One of my favorite coffee shops in central Phoenix! It's one of the most aesthetically-pleasing places to be, with floor to ceiling windows at the front of the shop. Lots of plants all around and has a relaxing vibe. It's always busy when I go with people studying, socializing, and eating. The coffee shop hosts events as well as weekly trivia on Thursday nights. They sell items near the entrance of small businesses. They have lots of food options ranging from breakfast to lunch items. All the breakfast items I've had have been good and they also have some vegan egg and sausage options as well. They have a fruit and cheese danish that is to die for! As for their drinks, everything is good. They rotate specialty drinks but have some long standing classics as well. I usually get a matcha but their lattes are good as well. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. I once had a latte that I really didn't enjoy and the team was kind enough to remake it for me and add a little extra syrup. They also have lots of parking. Overall it's a good place to enjoy drinks and food, study or WFH, and hang with friends.

I was reeled into this place because it was painted all over people's Instagram stories so I knew I had to give it a shot myself. I was immediately impressed by the high ceilings and beautiful plants. Their iconic entrance is even better in person. I appreciate that there are 2 stories and a good amount of seating on both floors. There's also some seating outdoors. The place itself is a great spot to work, study, or hang out with friends. There are high chairs, normal chairs, and booths to choose from which is nice as someone who is oddly picky with seating. They also have outlets! In terms of food and service, I'm not well versed with coffee so I didn't know what to get and asked some questions. The cashier didn't have a very welcoming attitude towards me after that. The price is on the higher end as well for coffee that didn't leave a significant impression on me.

We are first timers. We came on a Sunday afternoon. The place was a little difficult to find - there isn't a large sign to be easily seen from the road. Once inside it's very spacious and has two levels of seating area. They were friendly and quick to make our drinks. I got the honey lavender latte. The coffee is strong and flavorful.

    Outside

Spacious, beautiful, friendly, and we liked the taste of our drinks. There were a lot of people there for meetings, some people there just to hang out by themselves, and others were working from there. They offer Wi-Fi.

Very cute place to have brunch at they have breakfast options and coffee and matcha. I got a matcha, it was very earthy and I wouldn't get it again but it was cute looking, I also got the lemon bar and the waffle. The lemon bar was very dry but the waffle was very delicious! We called ahead for a reservation yet when we got there it was first come first serve, so that was kind of unexpected. Overall very nice place to have some breakfast or brunch at.

I did not have food but the menu looks enticing for breakfast or light lunch. Great inviting space and alot of it, with young & old professionals studying/working. Bar that offers alcohol beverages in addition to coffee & tea. Stood in front of a cash register with what I assumed were 2 cashiers. When no one offered help, moved one over to a girl that did. Ordered the Southwest Sunrise. Cold brew, chocolate chili bitters, simple, orange twist. I like the combination of everything. You get very little for the cost in my opinion. But it was good:) I will return for food next time. Definitely worth going as it still great offerings for food, drink and a fun brunch party day as advertised on social media.

Perhaps one of the coolest coffee shops I've ever been to!! It's crazy l how much Phoenix has changed since I left 8 years ago and I would never expected finding a coffee shop in commercial office building. The vibe and the interior of this place is insane and I wish it would have been there when I just used to live minutes away in this great neighborhood!

This is a beautiful place to start your day! The high ceilings and window-wall brings in so much natural light. The murals inside and greenery add to the natural setting. You can feel the energy and effort the proprietor put into the having the perfect ambience. We came on a Saturday afternoon and inside was bustling with patrons. There's a second floor but that was full so we settled in a long communal table in the center. You order at the counter (there a baked goods in the display case) and get a round buzzer to pick up at the other end. We ordered a Habanero mocha and a honey lavender latte with oat milk. The temp of the latte could've been hotter but the sweetness and spice was well balanced. The habanero mocha had a slight kick but not overpowering so don't let the name intimidate you.

I love this place! It's such a beautiful shop with amazing food and unique delicious beverages. The customer service has always been on point. It's always busy but it's because the coffee is so good and it's a wonderful place to study or hang with friends while sipping on your favorite beverage. This time I got their seasonal shakerato which was tropical flavored and had coconut cream instead of heavy cream. My friend got an iced vanilla latte, but the vanilla was made with monk fruit so no sugar! She also enjoyed a quiche. This must try place is lively, fun, aesthetically pleasing and delicious

It's been a while since I've visited Provision. Finally came back this morning for coffee & brunch with hubby. Breve cappuccino, hot: 9/10. Strong and creamy Seasonal Tahitian Latte iced (espresso, coconut almond cream, Tahitian vanilla, orange bitters) made w/Pecan mylk: 7/10. Worth a try for a fun flavor combo. A bit on the sweet side. Protein bowl: 8/10. Good amount of food (I split into 2 meals). Well seasoned, different textures. Loved the pickled shallots! Avocado toast: 3/10. Bland. With so many choices in town, I would skip this unless they add some more flavors to it. Would love to see some heirloom tomato, salt, olive oil, or even pickled shallots (which the kitchen already has!) to give the dish some dimension. Chaconne seasonal fruit danish: as always, 10/10. Mark is a pastry wizard! Service was fine. Professional. Large space. We sat upstairs and enjoyed being by the plant wall.

Stopped by for the first time Thursday 8/7/25 around 2pm, parking right out front. The space is HUGE; 2 stories and connected to a members-only coworking business on the 2nd and 3rd stories, but otherwise most of the 1st and 2nd floors are available to the public/Provision customers. As it is such a large vertical space with so much natural lighting, it was a bit warm inside, I'd estimate probably 78F but I could be wrong. It definitely wasn't chilly inside. They offer everything from coffee to food to cocktails! On my visit, I was feeling snacky and tried the jalapeno flatbread (cream cheese crema, cheddar & fontina cheese, prosciutto, roasted jalapeno). I'm personally not a huge jalapeno fan but was intrigued by the other ingredients. I was able to share the dish with a friend who ate the jalapenos; the portion size was enough to satisfy a snack-craving, but it can only serve as a meal for a single person. The combination of ingredients was very tasty! Although I stopped by with a friend for a quick bite, Provision would be perfect for both socializing and getting work done. Given the ample seating, beautiful/spacious interior and natural lighting, I will definitely be back to do either of these things! Bonus: I saw flyers for Freq Club (@freqclub on Instagram) hosted here once, which is essentially a ticketed (about $20) morning coffee rave with a DJ Saturday's 9a-12p. They've since been held at other community spaces, but who knows they might return to Provision!

Is this a good place to study? I have heard from some people they don't allow laptops, is this true? Thank you in advance!

Is there an elevator to the upstairs space?

Yes, it's an ADA-compliant building and there is an elevator (not visible in the photos, but it's in the back). Each floor of Provision also opens to the offices on either side, but I'm not sure if there are additional elevators in those wings.

The second one tasted "clean" or like it was supposed to taste. The Burger & Fish Tacos were full of flavor & freshness! I loved their fries b/c crispy on outside & soft on the outside. Missing their Guac & Chips Starter that was on former menu tho. We gotta commend the F&B Manager here! He overheard us talking to the waiter about the differences in the Charred Beet Salads & told us why: one was on the grill too long & he only knew that b/c he was in the kitchen watching them make it. He appreciated us sharing about the nuanced difference in how salads tasted & comped one. Wow - this is really going above & beyond: caring enough to have a convo w/ diners, acknowledging their palates detecting the difference AND making it right, b/c as he said "both should taste the same, like the second one." A commitment to excellence and consistency is a rarity. Overall, Lylo Swim Club outdoor bar/restaurant is a little oasis tucked away amongst so much greenery and beauty! Service was honestly extremely disappointing usually I can give them some grace but this was just... wow! Then I go to pay and there were several items on my bill that were never ordered. Mind you never got silverware or napkins so we were using the towels. 25 minutes for a can of beer mind you. Place could have potential but would need several more servers and maybe individuals that are equipped to even do the job in the first place. $300 for actually a slap in the face and no sunburn because are seats were in the shade with dirty dishes damn near on top of us. Gross, waste of money, and just disturbing. Could not pay me to come back. In addition the pool looked so alarmed I was surprised individuals were even in it, I barely let my feet in. Update : I tried to contact the hotel yesterday to get in touch with the manager, was given 3 emails all wrong. The emails never got delivered. Call the Lylo Swim Club this morning and spoke with Paul Epstein.... oh my actual god good luck. So extremely rude not helpful at all no wonder on his LinkedIn he switches jobs every few months. Some things he told me on the phone.... 1. That the dishwasher/busser was going around every 20 minutes and grabbing dishes... Wrong I saw him once 2. Explained to him that the drinks tasted like they were poisoned. He said what do you expect when you order alcohol. 3. he asked why I didn't grab a server. There were two and I saw them maybe three times only when they were delivering wrong food. He then told me that they were overstaffed yesterday pathetic. On top of that he said everyone was going there to get the dole whip drinks because of TikTok. I'm glad other people could enjoy them, but you would think since he works in the restaurant industry he would have grace for others when its impossible to please everyone. That I understand but with all of these things that went wrong a discount should have been applied. I've never experienced someone so rude and uptight. I can't even imagine someone having a bachelorette party or a birthday there I would be embarrassed to have my friends or anyone I know being in contact with this place or Paul. good luck to him.

The soothing decor and soft lighting created a cozy atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a delightful meal, especially on an unseasonably hot day. We began our culinary journey with the Larb Mushroom appetizer, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The dish featured succulent oyster mushrooms tossed with roasted rice powder, fresh mint, shallots, cilantro, and a vibrant chili-lime dressing. Each bite was a refreshing explosion of flavors, combining the earthy richness of the mushrooms with the zesty brightness of the dressing. It was light, refreshing, and a perfect precursor to the meal ahead. For her main dish, my wife chose the Pad Z U, an outstanding selection that showcased sautéed broad noodles, crispy fried tofu, and Chinese broccoli, all enveloped in a delectable sweet soy sauce. The noodles were soft and chewy, creating a delightful texture that harmonized beautifully with the vegetable medley and tofu. The heat in the dish was skillfully balanced, providing just enough kick without overwhelming the palate. My wife couldn't stop raving about it! I opted for the Kua Kling, and it truly was a star of the evening. This spicy stir-fried minced chicken was enriched with fragrant curry paste, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves, resulting in an aromatic dish that was accompanied by tender long string beans and the unique Sadtor beans. The flavor profile was complex and enticing, with each ingredient complementing the others in a delightful dance of spice and freshness. It was a dish that not only warmed my belly but also left me craving more. What elevated our experience even further was the attentiveness of our server. With a genuine smile and a welcoming demeanor, they offered excellent recommendations and ensured that we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Their knowledge of the menu added to our enjoyment, making the dining experience even more memorable. Overall, LeDu Thai is a culinary treasure that I cannot recommend highly enough. Each dish was exceptional, bursting with flavor and crafted with care. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and a cozy ambiance makes it a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable Thai dining experience. I also had the seasonal quiche which was flavorful. It came with a small salad, and I will even commend them on the crispness of the lettuce. 10/10. The coffee selection is unique. I tried the cajeta latte, which was described as their take on a salted caramel latte. So good! My only critique would be the cup in comes in. While very stylish, it didn't have a handle so I had to use my napkin to pick up my cup at first. Overall, very satisfied and would highly recommend!

Phoenix and the valley has good restaurants and that's about it. And don't get me started on the chain restaurant mentality here. And then there is Valentine. I was excited to have dinner there last night with friends, although I thought the hype of this restaurant was more instagram famous than it was good. I was mistaken. Greatly mistaken. My friends and I arrived for dinner last night and we were greeted with a wonderful staff and a really cool vibe on the inside. Very casual but not lacking in anything. The service was really great. I love when a server welcomes you to the table and can take the cues when people are having a conversation as opposed to constantly asking," Have you made up your mind?" Our server was fantastic and very accommodating. Sadly I do not remember her name. Now let's talk about the food. We started with three delicious cocktails, the salmon dip and the pretzel. Both were deliciously flavorful. The butter and honey with the pretzel really elevated the pretzel. Great accompaniment. For our mains, we shared the yucca and potato pave, the elote pasta, the ribs, and the trout. All was fantastic, but the real star was the trout. Perfectly cooked, and accompanied by the most impressive rice pilaf. It could stand on the menu by itself. The most important thing for me to point out is that all of these dishes were perfectly seasoned. It is my opinion, and since I'm writing this review, it is the only opinion that counts, almost every single restaurant I've been to in my 11 years of living here do not layer the seasoning, especially salt. They are either so bland the dish has little to no taste, or they pile all seasoning on the top and hope for the best. Valentine stands above the rest. Thank you, Valentine, for what I'm sure was the first of many meals for me at your table.

I first came across Don Woods' Say When reading a Yelp article listing out the best rooftops in…read moreeach state. Don Woods was Arizona's pick. For quite a few months, I had it on my list to visit. I finally made things happen on a Wednesday evening for a drink. Located on the roof (of course) of a boutique hotel, I find free parking in the hotel's parking lot. While it was a busy parking lot, I was able to find a spot. Unfortunately, my night consisted of a comedy of errors. Ambiance (3/5): When you think best rooftop in the state, you're thinking scenic and peaceful views. Don Woods' certainly has that, though I've seen better in Phoenix. You can see the mountains in the background, but that's about it. The hotel is located on a busy street, where you'll often hear the noise of cars buzzing by or the train choo-chooing. Did I just make up a word?! I imagine the best time to stop by is during sunset. The outdoor area is relatively narrow with seating for about 20-30 people. It's a mix of comfortable seats and tables/chairs. There's also a charming indoor area, where the bar is located, but I felt like I had to sit outside. The weather was perfect, too. Service (2.5/5): This is where the comedy of errors began. I was given a menu and some water and was left to peruse the menu. Before the waitress had returned, I had picked out an appetizer and a cocktail. I then discovered that their cook had quit the other week and as a result, no food was available. That's fine and all, but you've gotta give me a heads-up when giving me the menu. That way, I wouldn't have spent the time to look over the food menu and get my heart set on a particular dish. On a better note, they have free WiFi. And service was overall friendly and pretty efficient. Food (N/A): While I was unable to order some food, on most nights, they have a small menu of small plates. More of a snack type of spot then a full meal type of establishment. Drinks (3/5): Don Woods is know for its cocktails and they have a list of 10 or so craft cocktails. Plus, beer, wine, and the typical options that you would find when there's a full bar. I feel like the bartender messed up the proportions on my cocktail as it was a bit rough. One drink and I was out. It seems like Don Woods' is experiencing some turnover which is leading to some mishaps. Combine that with some high expectations given the accolades they won, and it was the recipe for a disaster. I love a good rooftop bar, so I was hoping for more at Don Woods' Say When. Even the lobby of the hotel was experiencing issues. They sell popsicles in the lobby but the guy temporarily manning the front desk didn't know how to get their Square device working. Which ended up meaning no appetizers for me at Don Woods and no popsicles from the lobby. Two strikes. We live to fight another day.
