I ordered the Butterscotch latte and it was really good. Not overly sweet just smooth rich and balance. Last time I tried one of the specials , a PBJ Latte, that was very unique. You can tell they care about how their drinks are made and not just getting them out the door. Service was easygoing and welcoming without feeling forced. I went on a cold Sunday and it was really busy the whole time if you are planning on getting a seat. If parking lot is full you will need to find street parking. I do like that it's right on the monon trail if you want to take your coffee to go instead and walk!

The Provider was a very relaxing and chill environment where you could easily have conversations or meetings. This isn't a loud location and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The decor was very pretty with plants everywhere. I tried the apple cinnamon latte and was somewhat disappointed by the very light flavor but it was aesthetically pleasing. The menu wasn't too big but the staff was very kind

First time trying this coffee shop and I loved the interior and customer service. Despite being busy, me and my guest were able to find a seat. I ordered a bagel with cheese, bacon and egg and it was really good! My coffee though, had a weird after taste, I'm not sure if it was from foam or syrup but it almost tasted expired. My friend said hers had a weird taste too. However, I would come back to this establishment! It's perfect for a meeting spot, solo date, etc.

Industrial but warm, workspace and events too, the Good Lord provides more than perfect lattes in this downtown joint. Personal faves include an original Pistachio and Banana (bread). It's a cozy sweet hang with primo pastries and a killer breakfast sammie too - saddle up barside to chat with the friendly baristas or make a new friend, so much easier visiting the Midwest!

I absolutely love this coffee shop. It took me 1.5 years to finally stop by and I'm so upset I didn't come by sooner. The baristas are wonderful and have this warm essence to them. Not only are they friendly but they also make some fire coffee and their food is carefully prepared. The aesthetic reminds me of trendy/edgy meets cozy vibes; it's just overall inviting!! and I love all the natural light that comes in. They also have an outdoor patio if that's your thing! 1) Bacon breakfast sandwich - the broken up bacon bits with the sweet pepper jam? absolute slay. one of the best bagel breakfast sammies ever. the bagel is also sooo soft 2) Herby fully loaded- not a huge fan, granted it was vegetarian and you can definitely taste the herbs (the dill was a little too strong for me) 3) Iced butterscotch latte. GET IT. You need it. It is sooooo freaking good 4) Iced chocolate latte- if you truly love coffee you'll appreciate this drink. not sweet at all and the chocolate is very subtle, it allows the espresso to really shine through PROVIDER is truly an Indy gem. I will be returning for many more study sessions in the future & to try out even more things on their menu.

Friendly service. Fun interior with colorful bulb lighting and interesting tile and brick ambiance. The coffee tasted like coffee and the breakfast sandwich was pretty tasty, too :)

Cute coffee cafe with outdoor seating. It even has the indoor/outdoor seating- you're seated inside with the garage type door open. I ordered the maple pecan latte iced with oatmilk. The drink was good but the flavor profile was to light. I could telll that there was maple because it was sweet and not over the top but I didn't taste pecan at all.

So I had to come here because I was told this was the best coffee shop in the city ... so I went, had to check this place out and see what the hype was and see if I agreed and well.... I don't agree totally. The atmosphere and aesthetic is nice, cool vibe. I've heard talk about laptops not being allowed but unsure on how valid that is but did not see anyone on one while I was there. Love all the plants although I did notice mealy bugs all over the monstera( doesn't take away from the place at all) the drinks were mid- I tried the peanut butter latte both hot and cold and hot was soooo much better. The banana latte (can't remember the name) was tried as well and It was also very ... I don't know the word for it- it tasted more like a banana peel vs a banana... it was not enjoyable. hhhhhowever those bagel sandwiches were amazing !! Like I would go back just for those. I'm going to try this place again and see if I can catch what others have projected this place to be

The image shows two cold drinks with ice on a weathered wooden outdoor table, one appears to be iced coffee and the other a latte or similar beverage. A sandwich in a paper container with a bun, lettuce, and other fillings is also on the table. The setting appears to be outdoors, possibly at a café or picnic area.

The overall look of the place was so so so cute! But.... The drinks were okay. We got a peanut butter latte and it was good, the chocolate latte was not the best but not the worst, we also got a bagel sandwich and that was good as well! However all that plus a two dollar sticker and tip was $36 so definitely on the bit of the pricey side. And the staff was a little rude, sort of standoffish just didn't get a welcoming vibe :(

    Vegan sandwich is amazing!

I LOVE a great coffee shop cafe and I have to say that Provider checks all the boxes on my list! First off, I am plant based vegan and typically try to find spots that have plant based vegan options and drinks options that are vegan friendly and I found both here. This was my first visit and ambiance and vibe are amazing. The inside is beautifully decorated and spacious, there is a garage door that opens to their outside patio. I had the vegan sandwich which has cucumbers, avocado, tomatoes, spinach, and hummus on sourdough bread which was delicious and is more than enough. I ate half for breakfast and saved the other for lunch. I tired to Golden Milk (ginger, turmeric, and chili de arbol, under the Not Coffee list) which is one of my favorites and was delicious as well. I definitely recommend because of the cool vibe and the food! Rest assured my fellow plant based vegan friends, there is something for us!!! I'll definitely be back.

#4 Indianapolis Addition This the Spot!!! You know how I feel about Coffee and we have been impressed by what Indianapolis has to offer. But, Provider Coffee hits different! Provider Coffee is what Starbucks tried to do a few years ago. Offering breakfast, lunch, coffee, beer and wine, in an ultra laid back setting. Exposed brick interior with high top tables and awesome music is just the beginning of this gem. A self Serve pastry case with a variety of unique pastries is the first thing to great you. Massive Almond Croissants, Pumpkin, Orange, Cream Cheese Muffin(Yes, all that in 1 muffin) among others, all for the picking. Smiling faces that not only greet, take your order and make recommendations, but th3 staff also make it a point to be engaging with each guest. It truly makes you want to linger for awhile. Then, there's the COFFEE!! Specialty coffees like Pistachio Rose Water are just the tip of the iceberg. Along with traditional coffee offerings, teas, housemade Kombucha, seasonal Lattes, and a featured Latte! There is no way you can walk out of there without something! Too hot to handle, too cold to hold; had a Butterscotch Latte that was curated like a cocktail! Espresso, steamed whole Milk, with butter, piloncillo, and a flaming orange. WHO DOES THAT!!! It was so good. Didn't get a whole lot if Butterscotch, but MAN!!! He also had a bacon breakfast Sammy with TONS of bacon, fluffy egg, cheddar cheese, and pepper jelly, on a Multigrain GLUTEN-FREE bread!!! It was a mirage of flavors that just warmed the soul. The decaf tenderoni had their featured Latte which was Banana Demerara. When I tell you, it literally tasted like banana bread? Packed with warm spice, actual banana flavor, and a hint raw sugar. It was the best banana Latte I have ever had! Provider is one for the books!!! CHECK IT OUT!

Great coffee shop north of downtown. I got just a coffee and a peach hand pie. The coffee was AMAZING. The hand pie was really good. It had flakey fresh pastry and fresh peach slices. The baristas were very friendly and super fast. It's nice and cozy inside. The location right off the monon trail is so perfect. Check this place out.

    Are dogs allowed?

Definitely on the patio. Probably not inside.

Is Provider kid-friendly or only 21+?

It is kid friendly during morning hours for sure. Not sure about evenings.

Are there any laptop rules for Friday nights(5pm-close)?

No restrictions on Fridays. Laptop restrictions on Saturdays between 9am - 3pm and Sundays between 10:30am - 12:30pm.

Is there other more comfortable seating, such as couches, padded chairs? We usually stay at a place for a while and need something softer. Didn't see anything in the photos.

They have padded bench seating along the tables at the wall n a few leather chairs. The rest of the seating is either stools or straight back chairs.

This place is all wine, all the time. I'm not even sure they offer any other adult beverage! As a consummate wine fiend, I didn't even consider any other kind of drink, because I don't need any other adult beverage other than wine, you feel me? I love Solely's commitment to wine. They have wine to drink, and also, the walls are lined with bottles of wine. Just don't touch them! If you see an interesting bottle, don't take it off the shelf. Just tell the people at the counter about the bottle you're interested in, and they will help you. I wasn't in the market for a full bottle of wine during my visits -- just a glass. Solely Wine specializes in "unique, low-intervention wines from passionate small producers," according to their website. So whether you buy a bottle or get a glass, you know you're drinking a thoughtfully chosen wine. I had a glass of the Grenache Syrah blend and the Cab Franc, mostly because I rarely see these kinds of wines offered in the wild. They were both delicious! My only comment is that the pour is very small. The Cab Franc especially felt like it was maybe 4 ounces! I have weighed my wine at home, so I know roughly what a typical wine pour (5 ounces) looks like, and this felt like slightly less. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my wine! And the ambiance is killer. During the day, Solely is a cool place to grab a glass of wine and hang out. It's super close to the Monon Trail, too, so you can just bop over and get a cheeky drink. During the nighttime, the lights are lowered and the ambiance is very romantic and intimate. A great place for a solo drink, and a great place for a romantic date night.

I also love that they're connected to an art gallery, it really adds to the overall experience. I came here for a Yelp event and had an amazing time. Inside, the space is peaceful and inviting, with comfortable seating, games to play, and lots of natural light and live plants that create such a relaxing vibe. The owner was incredibly helpful. I wanted to try a wine flight, and she guided me through selecting options based on my preferences. The wine flight comes with four glasses and is about $24, which felt a little on the expensive side. They accept cards and also have a rewards system (which I definitely signed up for). There's a wide variety of wines, from dry to sweet, so there's something for everyone. I really enjoyed my flight. There was one red (Gamay) that wasn't my favorite since I tend to prefer sweet to semi-sweet wines, but I've been trying to expand my palate, which is why I love the option of flights. It also said it paired well with pizza, so maybe if I was eating that, it would be better. I enjoyed browsing their wine selection for purchase. I really admire how everything is well organized and easy to explore. They sell Stellar pretzels which I've had before and are so good, but solely had cinnamon dolce flavor that I never had before, neither had Kiara, so she bought some and I got to try the them (thank you Kiara!), they tasted just like a churro, so delicious, like a dessert! I can definitely see myself coming back here with friends or even just to enjoy the space and unwind. Such a great vibe overall.

Our servers were friendly and sociable, making the meal even cozier. They had a huge wine list -- alas, I can no longer drink wine; they had a small but elegant specialty cocktail list, and, to my delight, they had a list of delicious non-alcoholic "mocktails" (which one could choose to add spirits to, if desired). I had the "Primrose", with guava juice, lime, sparkling water and rose water -- it was superb! Refreshing, light, slightly tart... exactly what I wanted. They feature a different soup every night -- always vegan. (I'm trying to switch to a plant-based diet.) The soup was a punch in the tastebuds: jerk-spiced apple and pear bisque. It tasted roasty, spicy (but not too spicy), sweet and tart... like the end of winter, and the beginning of spring. I'm now going to spend countless hours in my kitchen trying to recreate it. My entree was a curried cauliflower steak, with tiny potatoes, delicious crispy pickled chickpeas, and a delicate saffron rice that I could *really* taste the saffron in. Nutty, richly savory, and deeply satisfying, I did not envy His Goatness's pork belly, nor my dad-in-law's shrimp etouffee. I did have a bite of His Goatness's peanut parfait, which, while vegan, tasted like a Reese peanut butter cup (but perfectly sweetened, instead of over-sweet). The merengue on the top was delicately toasted with a torch. I also had some of dad's sorbet, which was amazing -- like fresh fruit! Last night's sorbet was kiwi and guava, which is making my mouth water just thinking about it. I left stuffed, but feeling good, and truly satisfied. I'll come back for special occasions!
