This is my preferred choice for all my motorcycle maintenance and repairs. In 2008 I moved to Concord from Berkeley. That made visiting PM in Berkeley much harder. DNA Motor Lab is positively a place you can count on. They have saved my behind a few times. On the recent July heatwave, my bike decided to die in the middle of a busy uphill road. I called around for tow service and was given an ETA of 2 hrs. on average. One call to DNA got me a tow in about 15 minutes with the shop owner (Marcos) on the driver's seat. I was even dropped-off at my place for free. That is CUSTOMER SERVICE, no other description to define the moment. These guys know their stuff. They have serviced my bikes from simple oil and filter changes, electrical gremlins, parts painting, and how can I forget tow service (my second one so far, LOL). If you live close to Hayward or anywhere in the Bay Area, come to this place and discover a reliable moto shop with integrity. I was greeted by Liz at the front counter who was not only very kind, patient and accommodating, but also very direct. I respect a shop that is no BS. In addition to this, their prices are somehow pretty decent compared to other shops in the area. I was skeptical (how can this shop be so good?!). Jose installed a new tire in under 15 minutes for a wheel that I brought to them. When my girlfriend's motorcycle would not shift into neutral the day before I was meeting with a new buyer - Jose and Liz saved my butt. They were direct, gave a rough quote and a timeline so my expectations were met and I was not left guessing when the job would be completed. Turned out the transmission needed a new shifter fork due to the accident. In no time, this was sorted out. They gave the motorcycle an oil change and minor alignment. They were even kind enough to help us with the paperwork for the sale of the motorcycle. Everyone left happy with no surprises. If you want top notch customer service, decent pricing for the bay area and quality work - go to Pro J's. If you are willing to settle for less, pay more in the long run and probably wait a lot longer than I did - go somewhere else. Thank you, Jose and Liz!

I brought them my 1986 Honda Spree, which had been sitting for decades and needed some serious love. Wausiman Borges, and Alejandro took it in and absolutely worked their magic. They brought this little piece of history back to life, making it look and run like it had just rolled off the showroom floor in 1986! Seriously, I couldn't be happier! What makes these guys special isn't just the quality of their work. They're genuinely great human beings. Honest, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and more than fair with their pricing. You can tell they take pride in what they do and truly care about their customers. It's becoming harder and harder to find businesses where you feel like you're dealing with good people who genuinely love their craft. Motorfast is one of those rare places. Wausiman Borges, and Alejandro, THANK YOU! You guys absolutely knocked it out of the park. You didn't just fix an old scooter; you brought back a little piece of history and put a HUGE smile on my family's faces! If you're looking for honest people, exceptional workmanship, fair prices, and outstanding customer service, look no further. Motorfast has earned a customer for life. Upon picking up my bike the mechanic was trying to push more services which was odd because what he was pushing had just been done. Then on my trip home my storage box fell off my bike on the freeway, so I went directly back to the shop, they immediately got defensive and tried to blame me or my installer. When I asked for the owner it was deflected claiming he lives out of state. They took no responsibility. I would have at least taken an apology or sorry for putting you and or the public in danger. Lastly, I originally had my two tires replaced, very costly compared to other spots, but testing out the bike, it is shotty work. It doesn't feel balanced and feels shaky and slick. Im gonna have to take it somewhere else to get it looked at cause I definitely dont trust these mechanics. The shop seems okay, this is strictly about the mechanics and the work they've done. Another odd thing that really stuck out to me was how exact the timing was on the finished work, 1 1/2 hours... and I mean exactly. I do not recommend coming to this place, you will end up feeling unsafe, feel like you got ripped off and if something going wrong, it's your fault.
