He worked with Rick at Rick's Cycle Towing to coordinate pick up from my home to delivery to Reliable Cycle's shop. I received a couple of phone calls from Taylor as he sorted the the yips out of my home made wiring harness. Two days later he was finished and once again he and Rick's Cycle Towing coordinated their schedules and the motorcycle was back to me within two days. Taylor's clear and frank communication and relevant questions got the job done quickly and correctly. He checked the whole thing over, improving on what I had cobbled together over the years. It takes a lot of time and experience to work on Classic motorcycle, especially a heavily modified old British beast. Taylor sorted mine out much faster and efficiently than I could during rehab. Several months ago, I brought my Ducati 800SS to this shop for service. The work performed included an oil and filter change, cam belt replacement, safety inspection, and other maintenance items, for a total cost of more than $1,400. At the time, I was recovering from multiple eye surgeries and was unable to ride the motorcycle myself. A neighbor assisted me by transporting the bike to and from the shop. When the service was completed, Lawrence contacted me to arrange pickup. I explained that I needed time to coordinate transportation with my neighbor. He informed me that if the motorcycle was not picked up within two days, storage fees of $150 per day would be charged. Given my medical circumstances, I found this response disappointing and lacking flexibility. After retrieving the motorcycle, I immediately noticed that it was not running properly. The bike lacked power and did not shift smoothly between gears. I contacted Lawrence and was advised to continue riding it, with the expectation that the issues would resolve themselves. After approximately one month, the problems persisted. When I called again to discuss the situation, I felt my concerns were dismissed, despite explaining that I had recently undergone a cornea transplant and had limited ability to ride the motorcycle. I requested that the shop inspect the bike and address the issues, but was told I would need to pay for additional diagnostic work. Since the motorcycle had not been operating correctly following the service, I was disappointed that there was no willingness to verify whether the issues were related to the work that had been performed. As a result, I sought a second opinion from another Ducati specialist. During their inspection, they found that the throttle bodies were out of synchronization and that the fuel lines had deteriorated. After replacing the fuel filter and fuel lines and correcting the throttle body synchronization, the motorcycle ran exceptionally well and performed like new. Based on my experience, I found the customer service lacking, felt that my concerns were not taken seriously, and was disappointed by the shop's unwillingness to stand behind its work. While others may have had different experiences, I cannot recommend this business based on my own.

This shop has all the tools you need to wrench on your motorcycle and is located in a quiet corner of Treasure Island. It's a major plus for riders living on the west side of the bay as we do not need to pay toll to get to the area. Plenty of parking out front! Since the Valve Adjustment workshop is an advanced workshop, I highly recommend, especially for sportbike owners, to know how to dismantle your fairings alone. The instructor will not hold your hand during that process. Perhaps due to being a small class, me and another rider only, the instructor helped me remove the gas tank (I've never done it before surprisingly). Otherwise, they do mean it when you need to get to your valve cover alone or at least know what it is and what to remove to get to it. Therefore, I'd recommend at least knowing basic maintenance or have done it before on your bike before taking the advanced workshop. I cannot speak to the beginner workshops as I have never done them before but from this workshop, I gained plentiful knowledge, there was ample time for questions, and feel more confident getting to the valves by myself now. Lawrence was patient and explained everything clearly. I'll probably be coming here for future maintenance needs when I don't have the tools at my own place to do the job. It's well equipped and the lift makes a HUGE difference on my lower back. Consider taking additional courses here if you have never done any maintenance on your motorcycle!

Jose installed a new tire in under 15 minutes for a wheel that I brought to them. When my girlfriend's motorcycle would not shift into neutral the day before I was meeting with a new buyer - Jose and Liz saved my butt. They were direct, gave a rough quote and a timeline so my expectations were met and I was not left guessing when the job would be completed. Turned out the transmission needed a new shifter fork due to the accident. In no time, this was sorted out. They gave the motorcycle an oil change and minor alignment. They were even kind enough to help us with the paperwork for the sale of the motorcycle. Everyone left happy with no surprises.
