I needed electrical repairs done on an old R6. Whenever I would hit a bump while riding the signal fuse would blow, causing the cluster and lights to go out. While other shops failed to find the problem, John repaired the wiring in multiple places and cleaned up poor work done by another shop. The price was very fair for the work done and the peace of mind knowing my electrical won't go out again at night is priceless. I recommend this shop to anyone needed work done on their motorcycle.

Take my Gixxer there for valve adjustment and the bike was running perfectly, the bike wasn't starting normally after they have done valve adjustment, and John said it is the battery, changed the battery and the same issue, and then again John said it was crankshaft sensor, the sensor fixed it but now it time to time still having trouble to start and engine is not as smooth as it used to be in idle. Also, it took one month, and I spent over $1500 on repairs and Uber to go back and forth. Avoid this place, so do not regret your decision like me; I wish I was taking it to the dealer.

These lads are absolute class. I have had this shop work on my bike on 3 separate occasions. Each visit I was greeted with a warm smile, the estimates were honest, there was zero up-charge, the work done on my bike was top-drawer. I pride myself in figuring out things on my bike but I know if there is something I cannot do, I can bring it to the skilled hands of Midnight Mechanix.

I just picked up my 07 ZX-6R from the shop last night and I must say that I am very happy with John's work. I originally had an appointment for 9:30pm, but I got off work early so I called to see if I could come in earlier. I was told that John (the owner) was out of the shop momentarily, but that I could drop the bike off and he would give me a call as soon he got back. I dropped off the bike around 4pm and headed home. I got a call around 6pm which was significantly earlier than I expected and they told me exactly what work needed to get done. They asked for my consent on all the repairs and they did not try to force any unnecessary repairs on me. They told me that the bike should be done around 9:30 or 10pm, but they were able to finish everything by 9pm. When I got to the shop, John was helping another rider. Once he finished with the other rider, he went over all the repairs/adjustments he performed on my bike. I was very happy that he was taking his time to ensure that everything was done right. As long as I am in the Bay Area, I will continue to come to this shop.

I've had my oil changed and tire installed to the wheel. Always a quick service and a fair price. Happy to have him work on my bike again.

Hi, what's typical cost and cycle time to repair a small dent on front wheel? It's a small dent and doesn't leak air. Thanks

Unfortunately, we no longer offer a wheel repair service. Thanks for your inquiry and you may find that there are a few wheel repair shops online that you can ship to for repair.

Hi there! My buddy recommended your shop. I get off work late, so finding a shop to swap my tires is pretty hard. My friend said you guys open late. So i was wondering, do I need an appointment to bring you a rim and have the tire swapped?

Call John (the proprietor) first and see if he can accommodate your needs because mostly he does and He honors his shop's schedule. It's a good idea to call him first before you go here to make sure so you won't be wasting precious time. John is a… Read more

From that point, the experience was unacceptable. The jet ski sat at their facility for 10 months, left outside and uncovered, exposed to the elements. There was no urgency, no communication, and no basic care for customer property. Instead of standing behind the product, they pushed me to pay $9,500+ for a replacement engine, despite the extremely low hours. They also supported a claim that the spark plug in the engine was not original at the time of failure ,which is not accurate and this contributed directly to the denial of both warranty and insurance. Because I lost trust, I sourced my own replacement engine (18 hours) and shipped it to them. It then took another 3 months just to install it. When I picked up the jet ski: * The trailer hitch was damaged * The electrical adapter was missing * The cooling system had 0% coolant (which could have destroyed the engine again immediately) * My new lithium battery was missing, replaced with an old 2020 battery * The jet pump assembly was shaking, indicating improper installation I was told missing items would be sent to me. Nothing was sent. After waiting over a month, I had to purchase everything myself. Now I have to take the jet ski to another shop to correct the issues. Bottom line: This was not just poor service -- it was negligence, lack of accountability, and unprofessional handling of a major repair. I strongly recommend thinking twice before trusting this shop with your equipment.
