I am loyal to local businesses that have integrity and care about the needs of their customers…read more However, I have also written non-complimentary reviews and have boycotted establishments that are dishonest, value profits over customers, or just plain bad actors. DNA Motor Lab is positively a place you can count on. They have saved my behind a few times. On the recent July heatwave, my bike decided to die in the middle of a busy uphill road. I called around for tow service and was given an ETA of 2 hrs. on average. One call to DNA got me a tow in about 15 minutes with the shop owner (Marcos) on the driver's seat. I was even dropped-off at my place for free. That is CUSTOMER SERVICE, no other description to define the moment. These guys know their stuff. They have serviced my bikes from simple oil and filter changes, electrical gremlins, parts painting, and how can I forget tow service (my second one so far, LOL). If you live close to Hayward or anywhere in the Bay Area, come to this place and discover a reliable moto shop with integrity. Cheers to Marcos, Rodrigo, Jeena, and the other techs for keeping a 5+++ rated shop!

I'm extremely frustrated with the experience I had here. I called about 1-2 weeks in advance to ask…read moreabout getting my jet ski serviced (no repairs needed, just routine service so we could use it for Fourth of July). When I spoke to a representative, I specifically asked about making an appointment and was told to just walk in -- no appointment needed. Fast forward to this week: I went through the hassle of loading up the jet ski, and bringing it in--only to be told that they do require an appointment and that they're too busy to help. This could have easily been avoided if I had been given accurate information in the first place. Now I'm stuck scrambling last minute, completely stressed, and without a serviced jet ski for our plans. On top of that, the staff was rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional when explaining the situation. Very disappointing experience. Poor communication and lack of professionalism cost customers time and money. I won't be coming back.

These Guys Are AMAZING! Brought My 1986 Honda Spree Back to Life!…read more I can't say enough great things about Motorfast and the incredible team behind it! I brought them my 1986 Honda Spree, which had been sitting for decades and needed some serious love. Wausiman Borges, and Alejandro took it in and absolutely worked their magic. They brought this little piece of history back to life, making it look and run like it had just rolled off the showroom floor in 1986! Seriously, I couldn't be happier! What makes these guys special isn't just the quality of their work. They're genuinely great human beings. Honest, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and more than fair with their pricing. You can tell they take pride in what they do and truly care about their customers. It's becoming harder and harder to find businesses where you feel like you're dealing with good people who genuinely love their craft. Motorfast is one of those rare places. Wausiman Borges, and Alejandro, THANK YOU! You guys absolutely knocked it out of the park. You didn't just fix an old scooter; you brought back a little piece of history and put a HUGE smile on my family's faces! If you're looking for honest people, exceptional workmanship, fair prices, and outstanding customer service, look no further. Motorfast has earned a customer for life. SIX stars if Yelp would let me!

I came to this shop specifically to have my bike dyno tuned. I normally go to the likes of…read moreSlabsides (Campbell) or other south bay shops, but RC Cycles has a good rep for dyno-tuning Harleys. They have two daily time slots at around 11 and 1pm to tune your bike. They are fairly booked in this regard so I had to book about 3/4 weeks in advance. I received a call the day before my appointment to remind me of the appointment AND to have a full tank of gas and to bring my power vision. The only negative was I had an appointment at 11, but I had to wait 30/40min since Bob was stuck in traffic coming down. Once I met Bob, things were off to a good start. He asked me some questions on how I felt the bike was running, any issues, mods, then proceeded to ride my bike around. Then boom onto the dyno and getting it tuned. I sat in the room the entire time as I surfed the web on my phone while watching him do his magic. He explained to me how the ion knock sensors work on the Harley, and how he'll tune the bike. He did a few runs at various loads to get the VE maps setup properly for everyday riding, then he went into it for full throttle runs. I was able to get more power out of my bike from the over the counter tune that FuelMoto gave me, but overall the bike ran much much smoother. I would say it took him a solid 2+ hours to get my bike tuned. I have the target tune on my bike so I'll proceed further to get it a tad smoother for everyday riding, but overall I'm impressed with my jump in HP and Torque. Note that my bike bone stock makes about 82HP, 102TQ. Stage 1 about 90HP 110TQ. And with my cam I'm at 109HP, 122TQ so +27HP and +20TQ. Note that I am reviewing purely on the dyno services. I've not come here for regular service or other customize or mechanical work.
