The price was hefty and I decided to get estimates from BMW service specialists. Based on the super high ratings for Performance Autowerk, they were high on my list. When I reviewed the work that needed to be done, Rich suggested that I bring in my car so he could check it free of charge to make sure the work was needed and not being upsold. They were able to identify the screw in my tire when another place, which I will leave unnamed, couldn't. They were also able to deal with my tire lock without the key (my family has two of the same type of cars and the key was with the other car). They worked around the lock at one visit, and broke it off (with my permission) on another in order to get me back in the road in a timely fashion. The time when they worked around the lock was in 2024, and I paid about $45. The time when they had to break the lock was a year later and I paid about $75. I especially appreciate their professionalism and ability to not talk down to female customers, which sadly a lot of auto shops still do, even in 2025. Definitely recommend!

They had availability same day and it only cost me $30! I brought the car in around 3:30, waited in the waiting area, and the car was ready around 4pm. The mechanic even walked with me to my car to make sure the light was now off, that my damaged tire I requested back was in my trunk to return to Costco for a credit since it was under warranty, and that I had my wheel lock key back in my possession. 10/10 service, will definitely come back if I have any other tire issues!

This isn't just an every day build it's a 964 turbo body that I acquired with a small block chevy motor which LGR determined was blown. We decided to go with an LS swap, 996 transmission, custom suspension setup, and a vision that required a shop that understands performance, craftsmanship and most importantly safety, at a very high level. From the beginning, Chris and the team treated the car like it was their own. They took the time to understand the vision, gave honest feedback, and executed everything with a level of detail and care that's hard to find nowadays. The car drives, feels, and performs better than I imagined. They absolutely nailed the balance between raw performance and drivability. What I respect most is that they're real enthusiasts and racers first not just a shop trying to push cars out the door. You can tell they genuinely care about doing things the right way, even when it takes more time or effort.
