He was very friendly and courteous with answering my questions about the different bikes and sharing his insights on the models and the use cases I'm asking about, and also swapped one of the normal seats for a lowered seats on one of the Ducati Monsters. Nice selection of books and magazines on their shelves. Holiday food/snack selection was great! They provided pork sausage rolls, fruit and cheese and crackers charcuterie (pomegranates included, I love pomegranates!), and apple sticky toffee pudding. I'll admit that I initially approached the experience with some skepticism, as many motorcycle sales experiences I've had in the past were less than enjoyable. Lennon quickly proved my assumptions wrong. He was professional, knowledgeable, low-pressure, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right motorcycle rather than simply making a sale. During my second visit, Lennon spent considerable time reviewing different makes and models with me and encouraged me to test ride several bikes. His approach was thoughtful and patient, especially considering my indecisiveness. While I initially thought the Ducati Panigale V4 S was the clear choice, Lennon suggested I keep an open mind and try a few alternatives. One of those was a Triumph Street Triple 765 RX, and it completely surprised me. The more upright riding position, comfort, and responsiveness made me realize that my riding priorities may have changed a bit since my Aprilia days. After spending a good portion of the day at the dealership, I left feeling informed, excited, and fairly certain I knew which motorcycle would be coming home with me. Unfortunately, there was one final approval process I had overlooked: my wife. When she asked where I had been all day, I proudly explained my extensive motorcycle research and imminent return to riding. Her response was swift, decisive, and delivered with the efficiency of a MotoGP pit crew. After carefully reviewing my proposal, she concluded that purchasing another motorcycle at this stage of my life was not in the family's best interest. My application was denied without the possibility of appeal. While I was certainly disappointed after all the homework, test rides, and excitement, I have to admit her reasoning was probably sound. Even though I didn't end up buying a motorcycle, I wanted to recognize Lennon for the outstanding experience. He was one of the most genuine, patient, and likable sales professionals I've met in any industry. At no point did I feel pressured, and he went above and beyond to help me make an informed decision. If you're considering a motorcycle and find yourself at SoSo Cycles, I highly recommend seeking out Lennon. Mike went on to become a fantastic rider and an extremely knowledgeable wrencher himself, and he's always credited a lot of what he learned to the experience he gained working at BRG. These guys have been doing real performance work for decades and actually understand how to diagnose a problem instead of just throwing parts at it. Most recently, I've gotten into Harley's/baggers and touring bikes. I brought a bike in with a fuel leak and, once again, they took care of it and got me back on the road thanks to Their in house Harley specialist and well rounded team they nailed the diagnosis first time. Of course- nobody has xray vision, and every issue has a starting point. But they nailed it this time. K.C. has built a shop with a ton of knowledge and old-school experience behind it. Whether you need basic maintenance, troubleshooting, carb work or serious dyno/performance tuning, they know their stuff and they take the time to do the job right. Kristin in the office is fantastic -- friendly, helpful and great with communication -- and the guys in the shop have always treated me well. Nice that she brings text messages and simple payment options such as Zelle & Venmo for customer convenience and speedy response times. After decades of bringing bikes here, I can say BRG has earned my trust. It's pretty cool being able to bring my motorcycles to the same shop I trusted when I was 16 years old. One oil leak after another, power steering pump went out 2 or 3 times. They pulled my whole transmission and engine the day pick it up 3rd gear was slipping so bad when driving it home. i Had to turn around to take it back to them for repairs. So it tells me no one tested the car after the repairs and didn't even test drive it. I know find myself in a place where I wrench on bikes for a living (a poor one), and I know understand exactly what they had to go through on my bike and why it took so long. At the time of the review I didn't understand that and just thought they were dickin me around. Tim's a solid dude and as I said before, they know what they're doing, and you won't find anyone to do better work. Being as they are about the only ones left that wrench on old bikes, yes, you may wait a little longer for your bike, but it will be worth it in the end. 4 years after I took my bike there, and my old Ironhead is still running flawlessly (as far as the lower end and some top end ) on the stuff they did. I brought the bike in the same day, Chad gave it a once over, and agreed I could leave the bike. The work was done in 2 days, taking into account necessary customization. His cost for the work was reasonable and I was back on the road quickly with no issues. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, the entire process was professional and friendly. But then there was Charles with zero reviews but a really friendly picture. He looked like a dad figure I could trust with our bikes. I called around to the other guys first but didn't get "the feeling" and was compelled to call Charles. Not only was his yelp picture friendly but he was immediately the most friendly guy on the phone. It was clear Charles is the kind of guy who can work on all cars, all bikes because he has been doing this his whole life. We decided to bring the bikes to him. Actually we had someone else tow our bikes there and just trusted that Charles would take care of them. He knew they needed new batteries but he also gave them a good check over to make sure they were safe. The bikes were sitting with gas in them for over a year, so Charles cleaned them out. First off, Charles is also great with communication. He'd call and text to let us know the status and prices. I can't imaging anyone can beat Charles' prices. He is a quick worker and is extremely fair. There were no surprise costs or anything. He fixed them up in 1 day and was happy to hold onto the bikes a few extra days while we got them registered. We met him in person when we picked up the bikes and, wow, what a wonderful guy! He was so nice and knowledgable that we decided to leave our Prius with him so he could look at the brakes and let us know if they needed new ones. He said the front were good and suggested replacing the rear ones. He did so in 1 day and we returned to pick up the Prius. Charles is a great choice for probably anything you need. Trustworthy, knowledgable, friendly and has great prices. PS- Did I mention he has a band and they play out of the garage? So cool. It was set up because they have an upcoming show there but we haven't heard him play yet.
