I rode a GSXR for about 10 years before finally making the switch to a 2006 Road Glide back in November. Shortly after getting it, I took the bike to Harley Pacheco to get everything dialed in and road-ready. I ended up having around $3,000 worth of work done to make sure the bike was solid. After that, I stored the bike, starting it occasionally and taking it on short rides. Fast forward to March--while doing a pre-ride inspection before a planned trip, I discovered an oil leak. With my ride scheduled for the very next day, I was definitely panicking, especially since I had recently had work done on the primary. I contacted Jake in service and explained the situation. They were able to get me in the very same day I called. They replaced the primary seal along with the drain plug and O-ring at zero cost, which was a huge relief. Thanks to their quick response and standing behind their work, I was able to leave for my trip directly from the dealership. They truly saved the day. Took my 2003 FLHR to McGuire to diagnose a serious engine noise I couldn't fix myself, 2 days before I was to leave to ride to Alaska with a friend. The mechanic (Allen?) & service manager Ryan took good care of me and my bike. Though it took nearly 2 months to find some of the parts required for my 22 year old bike, they did a great job and she sure runs sweet! When I first moved to San Francisco, oh so many years ago, I fell in love with Dudley Perkins. They were my Harley dealership. I bought so many bikes from them and got to know three generations of the Perkins family. Sadly, after over 100 years, they sold the business. It became San Francisco Harley and they were the worst of the worst. I am not surprised they are already out of business. They sucked so bad. It was tough to find my new Dudley Perkins until I fell in love with an amazing man who lives about a mile from McGuire's Harley. In the almost five years we've been together we have bought multiple motorcycles, tons of parts and had all our bikes serviced at McGuire's Harley-Davidson. This dealership is amazing. It's my new Dudley Perkins. I recently took one of my bikes in for her 15,000 mile service. When I got her back she was acting funny. I took her back and they did not question my integrity or honesty. They looked over my baby and software got updated and when they returned the Queen of my stable to me she was better than ever. What a great shopping experience. I came in last Saturday for the photos with Santa. Everyone was so welcoming, treating you like they genuinely cared you came in, and very helpful with gift suggestions. They were offering 10% off that day. I fell in love with tons of cute clothes here. I haven't been in a Harley shop in a while- usually just picking up shirts for my husband when I'm traveling on business. But after checking out the ladies selection- I will for sure be back. They also have a nice pet selection as well as baby and kids. Plenty of parking, great ambience. Do yourself a favor, come here for those last minute gifts and avoid the malls. Going in again tomorrow to see my photos with Santa. Not gonna lie- I'm going to do more shopping as well. read more

I've always made sure ,I've supported Mcguire's Harley Davidson. I'm a little taken aback at what happened this last week. My husband got into an accident with his motorcycle, an older motorcycle which according to Mcguire's they no longer work on. I needed an estimate prior to me taking the motorcycle in , I calling because they were not contracted with my insurance State Farm. I asked if there was any storage fees as State Farm told me I would be responsible. If it wasn't picked up by the date, Mcguire said to pick it up. They said no bring the bike in they'd give me an estimate to fix it , and charge estimate fee only. They gave me more of an appraisal of my bike. It needed a clutch lever a blinker. They said I had so many other problems with the motorcycle, cracked primary broken motor mounts. A few more issues no cracked primary. It was just road grime. I payed the 495 estimate fee. They said you have to pick your bike up on this date so you don't have storage fees. I pick up at the bike by that date. Last week I get a notice that State Farm is paying them 695.00 in storage fees . I called State Farm ,said hey wait a minute they should not get paid storage fees. State Farm's attitude is like you're not paying it, This is what they're saying is do we have to pay it them. But my question was why?? I call Mcguire's and inquire about it. Their attitude is you're not paying it,This is between us and the insurance. This is also my claim !! This is why taxpayers are paying more for insurance. There is no reason Mcguire's should get a $695 storage fee on my motorcycle. That was there for maybe four days waiting on an estimate to fix it the motorcycle which was 9100. I took it to another shop ,my estimate was 1800.00 total to fix the bike. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is there's no way they should be being paid for storage fees. I disagree with State Farm and I disagree with Mcguire's. I will be talking to my agent as I do not want this going against my claim. This is why our insurances are going up across the board .I would've never known Mcguire's was charging State Farm this money hadn't State Farm sent me an email. Sorry Mcguire you don't deserve $695 for storage fees ! when my bike was there to get an estimate and I paid you $495 for the estimate fee !that bike did not stay there a day more than when you called me to pick it up. Have to give credit where credit is due. I rolled in the other day had some issues related to my signals..... needed computer flashed for my 2016 low rider. Had the pleasure of meeting Lindsey, she went through my codes ( I had 15 of them ) and Lindsey suggested that I leave it and they'll go through it. So they ended up flashing the computer which made everything fall into line, was pretty stoked. I picked the bike up today and she's riding killer now. Took my bike in for a handle bar rewire and install. After market apes. Customer service is great but there was miscommunication between mechanic and service reps. I was told I can pick up my scoot and it was ready for pick up. So I did, rode my bike home and when I got home my exhaust bolts were missing. Apparently the mechanic DID NOT RELEASE bike for pick up. And my handle bars were not All the way Torqued down to spec. It was miss communication between their employees, but my safety was put in jeopardy. I will be only buying parts from this dealer. No more service. Another Harley location down in our books! McGuire Harley-Davidson is tucked hidden behind a warehouse. It's smaller compared to other Harley dealerships I've been to but they seem to carry an extensive amount of women's apparel than the others I've been to! It was fun shopping and looking around. The women that worked in apparel are super friendly too! Bf and I came here on a whim to look at their bikes. Salesmen were helpful, friendly, and chatty. Liked how they let us stay a couple minutes after closing to still browse around. It's such a laid back dealership. So, being a loyal customer I took my street glide in to get the rear tire replaced. After picking my bike up I discovered they chipped one of my saddle bags. Three weeks after letting them know, the paint arrived and I dropped the bag off... service manager tells me no more than 4 weeks. 6 weeks later I finally get my bag back and can start riding again. No apology for causing the damage. No apology for the length of time it took. I left a negative yelp review. Had I received a simple, "sorry for your troubles, I would have been fine. Went in there today to purchase sovers for my lids and they refused to sell to me. Sales rep say they will order my stuff if I take down the negative review. Well now they get another negative review. Came home and ordered them online. Stupid is as stupid does! read more

After agreeing on a price for a Road Glide Special, I knew I really wanted the new ST which costs $3000 more. In order to keep my payments the same as the Special I needed to come up with the $3000 difference, I did and added it to my down payment. I paid $1000 deposit on the ST and also purchased insurance. I went in yesterday to complete transaction and then have bike delivered. Before going down to dealer I saw my bike available for sale on their website and when I arrived at dealer I saw the bike was on the floor with all the other bikes and was not in a position where it was sold or ready to be delivered to me. Then as I'm ready to hand over an additional $7000 to Heidi making my down payment a total of $8000, she says to me that my payment was $100 more and had no explanation as to why. I asked to speak to someone else, enter "Dave". It was immediately clear his intentions were to blow me out of the dealership. He paced and walked around me while saying I was accusing them of gouging me in price and other accusations that I made none of. I simply wanted the bike for the price I was told. 15 minutes later Dave, who claimed to be the owner, which he's not, was asking me to leave the dealership and he wasn't selling me a bike. Seriously. Later and once home I texted Heidi to which Dave called me. When at dealership, Heidi told me get this that I could only do 60 months or 84 months but not 72. Has anyone heard of a statement this absurd? So when Dave did call he finally agreed to what I was saying when I was at the dealer, the correct payment and terms, and that he would deliver the bike yesterday. Not so fat tho, I then asked Heidi if I could just sign paperwork en they delivered bike she said No and that it was non negotiable. I asked why and rather than answer she said sorry, we are once again not going to sell you the bike!!! In less than a couple hours they flipped and flipped selling to not selling me the bike treating me Like the toy in their game. Seriously. I paid $1000 deposit, was at the dealer handing them an addition $7000 down. I purchased insurance on the bike and waited for it to arrive at dealership. Only to get thrown out because I wanted to know why my payment is $100 more a month than it should be. Never been so disrespected in my life. After and at the end of communication with the dealer I finally lost my cool with Dave, he told me to go cry to my Mamma. I want to put this out there for other potential buyers thinking of going to McGuire HD for a bike, think twice. So my man rides a motorcycle. The great thing about having a guy who has some type of motorized hobby is that they always like gifts associated with said hobby. I've been coming in and out of here off on on for the past year for little gifts for him. They have an ever changing rotation of Harley items I can choose from. Their clothes selection is fantastic as well. I have even found a few little things for myself. Hes also had to utilize their mechanics on more than one occasion. The staff is superbly helpful in person and on the phone. Whether actually doing work on his bike or when he needs to order parts for his own repairs. Service department is really slow. I usually get along with all of the service technicians. My LAST visit there was made very unpleasant by Diego in the service. He was the most rude person I have ever dealt with there. He talk loud and interrupts and over-talks often when you are talking. Diego is what you call 'a know it all'. Before I begin, I have rarely given 5 stars. You can even check my profile of reviews, 5 stars is very rare with me. I was on the hunt for a Harley and my finalization is with Mcguire HD. While there, I meet some of the most friendly people, a majority of the staff from all HD dealerships are quite friendly. It only took 2 emails with Owen Barry for an agreement, but let me bring you my hardship that goes with other dealerships and how Mcguires differ from other dealerships. So I decided to yelp HD dealerships and here are the results. I started with a test ride with one of the salesmen from Oakland HD and was really impressed with the build and ride quality HD brings. But I needed time to think, but my worries was mostly not given an APR nor the price agreement. The salesmen, whom I leave the name blank, kept going backwards with the finance guy. RED ALARM for me, typical sales tactic like a car dealership, and yet after so many repeated questions about my APR, was the same answer.....its low. What about the price? salesmen tell me its in the ball park I asked. That is not an agreement! A reviewer also posted a similar experience on Oakland HD yelp review. Mcguire HD - 4 1/2 stars? gotta be good right? only 11 reviewers? I am skeptical. Inquired about their inventory and was given and OTD price that was very reasonable with Owen, I'll keep it mind. No sales pressure on the phone, just ask me to stop in and look before I make a final decision for Saturday appointment. He follow me up with an email offer, so I kept him in mind for Saturday. Salinas HD - Kinda similar with out the drive. Inquired about a Harley and was told he needed GENERAL MANAGERS approval....oh well, here we go again. I was quoted the full markup and given and APR as high as 7 percent. Because I only had 715 credit and not 800...I thought my credit was already good? PASS. Morgan Hill - Sales men tells me to up few grand and we can talk!?? bye! Lathrop HD - Same sales tactic as well. But I was given a reasonable offer and a not so savory APR. I have pretty much given up. Mcguire HD - Emailed Owen Barry for cancellation of Saturday, in reference of the games I have experience with other HD Dealership. Owen Barry returned my email within 20 mins with an offer and APR that can be better than Lathrop HD, and all HD Dealerships in general. It was an offer I could not refuse, I left work early on 7/23/15 and meet Owen himself. Not once he tried to pitch the usual bullshit other dealers do, and most importantly, the walking between GENERAL MANAGERS approval. I was actually expecting that to happen. Gave my deposit for Sunday pickup on 7/26/15 and to finalize the paperwork. 7/26/15 here is where the real offer happens. Closing of the paper work on what we agreed on. I did not see a single dollar/cent rise on on the contract. I did not hear Owen asking for approval as well like others do. Things were smooth and Owen Barry is straight as an arrow. Owen was also very sincere for my safety, I have just recently received my M1 endorsement. My friend was able to ride it back for me. For those that want something done right, go to Mcguires! the reviews speaks for itself. The extra distance to this dealership is worth every penny, maybe thousands for some.
