There was a line out the door (literally) for ordering, but they work very fast and efficient, so it didn't take too long. We got our cold brew coffee son after, the lox bagels showed up some minutes later. Their cold brew is very good; usually I add some milk, but this coffee doesn't need that at all. The everything bagel had a generous amount of lox, but I missed the tomato and onion. Maybe they were out of it or forgot because of the business.

The sandwiches were fresh and tasty and a good value for the money. I saw people eating or drinking coffee that appeared to have stopped in only to go the cafe so I believe it draws people from the surrounding neighborhood. Definitely homemade, a little on the small side in terms of quantity for the price. Yet still worth getting. Since it's Lent, the cafe is offering a fish fry dinner each Friday evening through March. On this visit I had a whole Reuben Panini and my wife had the soup and half panini combo and hot tea. The combo she ordered was a half Chicken Fajita Panini and New England Clam Chowder. All the food was absolute delicious. My Reuben was so flavorful I took my time eating the last bite. With the exception of some of the baked goods, everything is freshly made, in house, including the jumbo cookies. The cafe is so cheerful and comfortable it is a great place to go and have a leisurely breakfast, lunch or both. I was told that Wednesday nights are pizza night. The volunteer staff is extreme friendly and helpful. The only negative I see is that the when word gets out about this place and the lines will be running out the door.

The dining space is enormous and airy and to some degree the buildings' security desk and elevators almost fade into the background. It says: turkey, cheddar, chipotle-bacon mayo, pickled red onions, & mixed greens on a house-made brioche bun, $13. Technically that's an accurate description, except for the mixed greens. But neither of us could taste chipotle or bacon in the mayo, it added nothing. So this is definitely not a sandwich I would order again and it makes me skeptical of the rest of the menu. I understand that they're making the buns in-house and I appreciate that immensely. But, they aren't that great for housemade fresh bread. They taste like grocery store bakery buns. They could be so much better. It feels like a missed opportunity. The Buffalo chicken wrap was good, not great and it had a big hunk of lettuce core in it. I found it surprising that the cook didn't notice grabbing a large chunk of core when the wrap doesn't have a lot of lettuce in it. It's not like they were grabbing giant handfuls and missed it, which would be understandable. These are corner store quality items with cute cafe prices. It was delicious! a few greens were too large without cutting, but the plastic fork wasn't able to cut them. A whole wheat roll or something similar would have been a good addition. This was my 2nd or 3rd experience with a lunch box lunch; all have been fresh (no browned or wilted greens) and tasty.
