Tried Protein House for the first time today and it was awesome! Super clean ingredients, everything was so fresh, and the selection was great! Great addition to town, can't wait to try other menu items soon! read more

I came away impressed with Protein House. I bought some Meal Prep containers that included steak, chicken and veggies and two protein shakes. The meals were delicious and made with the freshest ingredients. The protein shakes were filling and I felt energized for the remainder of the day! January and his staff were very friendly and attentive during my visit. I will definitely be back!! read more

I had the bison bbq cheesesteak wrap and it was amazing. This restaurant exceeded all my expectations. You do not often find a place where every element comes together so perfectly. I'll be recommending it to all my friends and family. Family friendly place and the staff are all great people! read more

Went there a few times with a group after the gym for protein shakes however we will not be going back. They have young girls taking orders with very bad service we would sit, chat, and drink our protein shakes it was ok the first couple times then we where told by the young ladies that we were no longer able to dine in to drink our shakes. When we went back they had put all chairs up in the sitting area an hour before closing. We asked them if we can grab a chair they said no because the cooks don't like a lot of people in the dining area. I'm not sure who is running this place if it's the young workers or the adult owners but we will no longer be going to this business. read more

We waited a hour to get our food. I ordered an Aloha burger. And it was alright. They added little bits of lettuce. I was expecting more for my first time there. read more

The atmosphere is inviting with the delicious smell of hamburgers and fries. The staff answered all of my questions in a prompt and courteous manner. The decor is minimalistic, but that leads well to the aesthetic of being at a gym. I saw a large selection of vegan and gluten-free options for those who may have dietary restrictions. read more

Not one to leave reviews; but was excited for this place since I live walking distance. Unfortunately; it is SUPER overpriced, second time they mess up my order (food and drink took over 45+ mins to get ) , wait is long and they have just kids working - doesn't seem like there is someone in charge or checking up on customers to make sure everything is running smoothly. Taking my business to Vitality Bowls . Very unfortunate since it seems to to be a popular spot. Update: Literally upset; it's now been over an hour for an orange juice; partner and I have been done with our meals. read more

Had high hopes for this place, unfortunately my wife and I both got sick after eating here on two separate occasions. It seems the meat isn't being cleaned properly as we got food poisoning both times on two separate items: chicken and steak breakfast burritos. It also appears that there was no manager on site, as on one occasion I watched my food sit on the counter for more than 10 minutes I had to ask what was happening, when the staff finally responded that my food was on the counter. I really wanted to give this place a chance, however the food is too expensive, and I just can't eat at an establishment that makes me sick. For the price of the food, we can go to a dine-in restaurant. I expect better! read more

Didn't have a good experience here. $20 for burger patties that are ripped up with half a cup of sweet potato that takes 25 minutes to get and is cold when they finally get it to you isn't worth it. Watched the girl that took our order walk back and forth from our food to the register because she didn't know what table the food went to and asked everyone but us. Our food was sitting on the counter for a good 10 minute before anyone even went to check on it. It just took too long and the workers are really confused about what table our food went to. They offered to remake it but I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes. Nobody wants to pay that much to get cold food. We were willing to pay that much for the convenience but in the end it was a huge inconvenience. read more

My work group is staying in the Res Inn next door to this establishment for several weeks. We have all been eating our meals here, as all but one of us is into fitness. Walking in here is like walking into my kitchen. Top shelf everything, from protein to veggies to berries. Even condiments. I was telling my wife today (back home) that this is the best restaurant I've ever been to in my life. I have probably eaten 20 meals here in the past two weeks. Every single thing has been perfect. That the rating average is less than 4 stars is ridiculous. I would rather eat here than any other restaurant I've ever been to in my life. But then again, I will only settle for high-quality, top tier food, the best that I can possibly buy as far as health and fitness goes. If you live in Modesto, you don't need to go to Sprouts or Trader Joe's or Saturday Market to get top quality food for your kitchen. You can just come here and order it off the menu. Burgers are fantastic. Wraps are delicious. Shakes are as good as they get. Salads are wonderfully made, both presentation and taste. I'm going to look into seeing if I can do my own franchise in my hometown. Every city has a population of people who want to eat functionally as well as aesthetically, and Protein House is it. read more

If you are looking for a healthy alternative and good, this is the place. I've been there 3 times and each time tried something different. Service was good and had a small wait but nothing major. read more

Good healthy food and great service!! The APP makes it very convenient to order on the go and the waiting time is pretty accurate

Second time at the protein house! The food the first time was great. I am sitting waiting for my order and I look over at the cooking station and I see one of the cooks lick his finger and proceed to cook. I hope this post can bring a conversation to the staff about cleanliness and hand washing. Lost my appetite. read more

I'm not big on eating healthy so I was a little skeptical of this place at first. But I have to admit the food is a 10!!! I have had several dishes and none have disappointed! The staff are super friendly and are always great on giving food recommendations. I've tried over half their menu and keep coming back for more. Really great place to get a good, hardy and healthy meal! read more

Meh. Went in at 1120 on a Tuesday. Food was very good and that's what earned stars. Food itself got 5 stars. Seating, hospitality, "restaurant" layout and service were all greatly lacking. I'd prefer to give two stars but I'm also a business owner and couldn't bring myself to do it. read more

I wanted to check this place out. I ordered 1 PB & J protein shake. It was delicious, however, it took well over 15 minutes to "make". There was 1 other person in the store who ordered something simple as well. There shouldn't have been any reason it took that long. There were 6 employees at the time. I figured I would go for lunch thinking it would be better. I don't know what I was thinking. Lunch was delicious! Everything was so fresh but it took more than 35 minutes to get my simple order. I was told my order would be ready within 10-15 minutes. I was totally fine with that fresh healthy food takes longer to prepare. I would recommend placing a mobile order 1hr in advance. read more

Very nice, clean feel & Nice employees. Love that the menu has a plant based option in each category. So if you are vegan you have lots to choose from! We Ordered the PH Vegan Burger, Mayra's Vegan protein pancakes and vegan sweet potato brownie. 10/10, will definitely be going to try other vegan options. read more

I really wanted to see how good this place was but I sadly have to write a bad review because I received the wrong bowl in my order. I ordered the killer keto bowl and I received a bowl with chicken, mushroom and cauliflower rice. I would have went back, but I was on my lunch break so I had to just eat it. I also ordered the sweet potato mash and mixed greens which I did not care for, the dressing on the mixed greens was weird. read more

Service and food was amazing I asked for a GFB with a magic mango .the workers are friendly and keep up with the busyness. They have a new AC machine by the water machine but it kinda leaves the place humid asf while ordering I could feel the heat behind the counter and the baristas were sweating. It's a cool little place nonetheless to eat healthy food I come here often with my friend just wish the ac was a little better read more

First time trying Protein House, the service was great and our food was so yummy! We will definitely go back.

A friend recommended Protein House! We initially tried it last week and they forgot to put the chicken in my Spicy Thai wrap so we called them and they comped us another one which was okay but we live in another town 20 minutes away! So we decided to try them again today 4/5. This time they forgot the peanut sauce! As far as I'm concerned the sauce makes the wrap! It was still delicious the first time without the chicken but try eating a dry wrap! I could see once but twice!? Your a new business; get it together!! read more

Attentive and courteous staff especially for being so young. Most youngstas are disrespectful in some form or another, just my opinion. They are surprisingly professionally and it is definitely appreciated. We are always greeted once through the door and the food and drinks are phenomenal! I salute you Protein House. read more

Ordered Thai Chicken Wrap: pretty good quality and very filling. Not many drink options outside of protein shakes. One of the cooks stormed out of the kitchen, was bickering with someone outside, handled the outside door handles, and then continued to prepare food with the same gloves. It was simply unprofessional and unsanitary. The place is run by kids and just messy. If you want food poisoning, come here. read more

I really like this place! It's nice to get delicious healthy meal when eating out. Today I had a bowl with salmon, sweet potatoes and five different vegetables. It was delicious. So many great options and I really like that they cook with olive oil. Fantastic place! read more

Wanted to like it , since it's right by my mma and lifting gym. Went twice, unfortunately workers are clueless, takes ages, and it's so overpriced for bland food. I promise seasoning doesn't add that many calories. read more

Just tried this spot for the first time. I got the PB&J protein shake, delicious and tasted like a snickers bar with a hint of berries. My coworker tried the green juice, and the breakfast sandwich and said it was great. Their menu looks so yummy with tons of protein and very macro friendly!! I definitely recommend and cant wait to try more items. I will say-it is a bit pricey but worth it if you're looking for something healthy on the go. Plus they give a discount to Kaiser Employees/Health Care workers. read more

I have ordered meal preps from them for now 4 weeks in a row. Each time I have had a side sauce or ingredient missing from one of my meals. Today though was pretty frustrating as I came to pick up my order and they forgot to make it (to add I live across town). At the time I was more than understanding as they were apologetic and said they would call me when it was ready and throw in a free meal. Unfortunately 4 hours later no call and once I finally got it picked up there was no free meal. Pretty disappointing as it seems like a great concept. read more

A long overdue post. We eat here frequently cause the food does taste good and it's close to work and home. However, the wait times are ridiculous. I ordered lunch in the app today and was timed 15 min but knew that would not have been the case from previous times. I waited 30 min to go pick it up. I ended up waiting ANOTHER 30 min there to get one of the items in my order wrong. The guy with the man bun in the kitchen decided to pick the chicken out of the bowl and throw the salmon on top (I ordered salmon). I then asked for it to be remade as there were chicken pieces still mixed in with the fish. I came home to find out that even after he "remade it" I still found chicken pieces. He does not know professionalism or that certain people have dietary preferences/restrictions and don't want chicken mixed with fish. Not to mention, that cook in general has a bad attitude and frequently messes up orders. Nonetheless, I won't be dining here moving forward unless I have time to pre-order 1 hour in advance due to the extensive wait times they can't seem to get under control. read more

DO NOT GO HERE if you don't have 1 hour to wait for your food. I was here waiting for an hour and watched several people get upset that they also had to wait that long. My food was oddly warm (not hot and fresh) when I got it too. This is really simple food so it absolutely shouldn't take this long. And if you're going to make people wait 1 hour for food at least have a comfortable place that has more than 10 seats for all your customers that are waiting what feels like a lifetime for their food. read more

Drinks are really yummy but the customer service is awful! I've given this place many chances and every time the staff was more rude. Be ready to be ignored by staff, having staff laugh at you and your group, and be straight up RUDE. You cannot order anything 30 minutes prior to closing, let alone be there 15 minutes before closing while finishing up your drink. Many people that I initially referred also experienced the same customer service. We're so sad to see such a great business concept with quality food have TERRIBLE service. Hope this gets addressed soon! read more

First time here, and it surprisingly good. The whole idea of food being not as good because of eating clean is far from what this place is. This place manages to portray delicious and healthy on a different level. My first experience was definitely a friendly experience and I hope to come back after trying their Muscle Builder. read more

I had been waiting for this place to open, I was so excited to finally try it! I ordered a berry smoothie - it held me over until I could finally have a full meal after a drs appointment.
