Came here after a long day at work. Just needed a quick fix. First time to be here and it was casual. No frills. Just go up the counter, place your order and pay. This may sound weird, but the food you order looks identical to the food picture on the menu! Which, is a rarity. It's not often you see a menu item but when you get it, you're thinking how this can be the same item...like they skimped you of things. Not this cute, little place! What you see is literally what you get! Great flavors for all the things I tried! Though I don't love them all, it wasn't on them, it was just my taste bud's preference. I've only ever seen one worker there, and though she definitely could have used a helper, she did an amazing job at keeping things afloat and still kept a smile on her face with being friendly. read more

We went here for smoothies and ice cream. They had about a dozen ice cream and sorbet flavors to pick from. The prices were expensive. We paid almost $9 for a 24 oz smoothie and it wasn't anything special and tasted like it was made with a bunch of sugary syrup. The atmosphere seemed good and was clean. Two girls working were gossiping and complaining about others- but took our order in between comments. Overall- I think I'll pass. read more

I visited Mango Crazy on 8/16/2025 at 8:58pm and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with customer service. When we asked for samples upon arrival, the server seemed unhappy to assist us. She didn't smile, appeared frustrated, and when we checked out, she didn't acknowledge our "thank you." I noticed the register showed the name Amaya H., but I'm not certain if that was the actual server or just the register being used. I understand it was close to closing time, but customer service shouldn't decline because of that. A friendly attitude makes a big difference, and unfortunately, that was missing during our visit. read more

This review is specifically for the Mango Crazy Truck at Modesto Grub Hubs. We enjoyed a delicious mangonada from here and the girl working was very chill. I think she was the only one there because she took our order and closed the window and it took a bit for our order to come out. Went there Friday night before I took a a plane trip to NY.. wanted something refreshing and got this see the pic.. it was no lie the most disgusting think I've ever had...for like 12.00 with tip.. Oh boy, my bf and I were craving some ceviche type of food and decided to try this place out 30 minutes before closing. Located in a nice spacious shopping complex, with plenty of parking spots, and a variety of different things in close proximity to Mango Crazy. We're from LA and we love eating fruit with lemon and tajin especially at our local park back home so going through the reviews and amazing photos taken from previous customers we had to try! It's honestly a little place, not much room to fit many people, but if I recall they had an area outside to sit (it was night time and pretty dark when I went, lol). The line was long but the wait was honestly fairly short and the employees are on top of their game. I ordered the shrimp ceviche cucumber boats, not much shrimp on them but the flavor was great, I really loved the freshness of them, and especially all the color! I tried out an agua fresca drink but I honestly can't remember the exact name of it but I know that it was green and pretty tasty, not too sweet nor bland! My bf ordered the tostilokos with salsa verde Tostitos, I'm not a fan of pork skin but he loved them! Next time, I think I'll try out the 'pina del mar' or the 'Diablito' since literally, everyone in front of us was ordering that. We will def be back when we go shopping at Raley's! The mangonada $5.99 was delicious. Sweet, salty, tart. Great place to beat the summer heat. They weren't very busy after a weeknight dinner, so we just stuck around and chatted while eating our treats. I like that the place is locally owned. The mangoes in my Mangonada were completely unripe, flavorless and crunchy like an apple. There is no way the employee preparing it could not have known it was unripe. How can you even sell this with a clean conscience MANGO is in the name of your company. You should have the best freaking mangoes not the worst. If you're out of ripe mangoes, just stop selling them. Unbelievable. read more

Their Aqua Fresca is SO bomb! They change their flavors daily but I've had Watermelon & strawberries with lime juice And watermelon and pineapple Both which are so good My favorite is the watermelon and strawberry with lime juice but anyways I highly recommend trying It's so good and it's FRESH EVERYDAY! I've also tried their bionico and I get mine with no raisins it's so good! Highly recommend together read more

MANGONADA. That's all you really need to know. For a few bucks, you can pick up some delicious mango sherbet, fresh mango, tamarind, lime, salt, and chile powder all mixed into one delicious cup. My friend brought me a fruit smoothie here months ago when I had a terrible cold it was refreshing and put a smile on my face. Yesterday I decided to visit here myself. We were first timers trying this place out. We called in an order and although we could tell they were busy, they did offer suggestions for drinks based on flavor profiles we were looking for. When we arrived, the line was out the door. Jorge (I'm assuming that's who was helping me, as that is the name on the receipt), knew the drink order and apologized stating they were not ready, as they were busy but he was going to start working right on it. It worked out fine, as I paid for it and went to get my Togo order at Panda, and returned as he was finishing up. It's a crazy and hectic time out there. The place was super busy. Yet, Jorge was really genuine and very cool under pressure. We will be back to try out all the different options on the menu. read more

This place is amazing!!! The choices of products are wonderful and the customer service is fabulous!! I had the pleasure of visiting on 07/14/20 around 5:30 and the employees working were absolute dolls!!! This was my first time visiting and thanks to this experience I will be a long time customer!!! During my experience the power went out due to a car hitting a power pole. The employees handled the issue very professionally! There was no skimping on service and they were very accommodating to the customers in the store!! Five star service!! I got a couple watermelon Agua Fresca's and I also ordered two ceviche's with chips. They let me try all of the Agua Fresca offerings and the Auga's were all very refreshing and delicious!!! I'm mango crazy about this place ! I pre-planned a trip here days ago and finally made it in. The ladies working the front were so nice and the store itself was very clean and organized. We chose the pinaloka ($6.99) which was a half pineapple gutted and filled with the pineapple, mango ,jicama, watermelon, and cucumber chunks, topped with Japanese peanuts, tamarind candy pieces , chamoy and tajin. It was DELICIOUS& so incredibly fresh . At first glance I thought there would be no way for me to eat the whole thing because there was so much but it was easy! We also got a scoop of bubble gum ice cream and cookie dough to take home. 5/5 stars! read more

I fear this can become a habit! I recently moved to Modesto and was checking Yelp for nearby businesses. The reviews for this place caught my attention. I had never had a mangonada before and it sounded spectacular. I have been addicted to chile mango flavored things since moving to the west coast from Pennsylvania. My husband....not so much. He was not as excited as I was about the prospect of stopping here. I was able to bribe him with the promise of a freshly made smoothie. The restaurant is clean and bright, it looks recently remodeled. There were quite a few people there for a Tuesday night, but the line moved quickly. All of the employees were hustling behind the counter. I ordered a regular mangonada and got a large Hawaiian smoothie for the husband. It took a bit to prepare because everything is so fresh! The Hawaiian smoothie is a blend of strawberry, banana, and pineapple. I loved it as much as he did. It was sweet and refreshing. The regular sized mangonada had two scoops of mango sorbet, fresh mango chunks, salt, chile, lime, and chamoy. It was so good! The candy coated straw was a great addition. The first thing that caught my attention from this shop as I entered, was the fresh smell of fruit. You are greeted by the friendly workers and though they are very busy, they acknowledge your presence. The place is clean & spotless. I go once a week to get a Mangonada and bionico. They're delicious! I have taken a few of my friends out there to try (compared to other mango ice cream shops) they have loved it even more just as I do. I live in Salida and do not mind making the drive out there because they place has delicious treats and great customer service. read more

The food may be good, but I will never be going here again because the staff is a JOKE. The owner needs to fire all of them and set up new training procedures. The ladies are busy gossiping and laughing with one another when there is a line out the door. No one knows what is going on, the place is a mess! This is the 3rd time they messed my order up and each time I have been waiting for over 1 hour and turns out my food was sitting right there and they clueless person was too busy having a social party with her coworkers to notice. read more

My daughter loves their ice cream and she is the world's pickiest person when it comes to ice cream but I've never heard a complaint from her when we visit mango crazy she inhales her ice cream every time. Loved the freshness considering how quick my food came out. Cheapest and quickest lunch! Upon entering, I was greeted by a pleasant atmosphere and placed an order for three iced coffees, which I stated clearly. When my order was delivered, two of the drinks were iced, while one was served hot. I calmly and politely mentioned that all three were supposed to be iced coffees. At that point, I overheard an employee respond in the background with an attitude, stating that I had ordered the drink hot. I fully understand that mistakes can happen--orders can be entered incorrectly, and errors are part of any service environment. However, my concern lies with the dismissive attitude and the decision to challenge the customer's request in front of them. This interaction left a poor impression, and as a result, I do not plan to return to this establishment. I will instead continue supporting my usual coffee shops.
