I ordered the Tosticeviche and it was so good! The shrimp tasted fresh and had just the right amount of flavor. They place the ceviche on top of salsa verde chips. Mangonadas on a hot summer day are the perfect treat imo to cool off. I was craving a mangonada and was in the area. I used to live in Stockton where the Mexican food was fantastic. I was thinking it would be the same for Modesto as well. This place popped up, the pics looked good so we went. store is kind of small & they're requiring masks. They make everything super fresh/made to order so that was nice! We got mangonadas, elotes, and the fried pinwheel chips. The mangonadas here are good but not amazing. The mangos were barely just ripened enough so some pieces were a little chewy to bite through, but still sweet. I think this place uses their own housemade chamoy sauce which was also just okay. I felt the chamoy they have ranges more on the savory side than the sweet side. It wasn't horrible but I'm used to the bold sweet and tart flavors of Chamoy so having it taste savory was different!! The sorbet was good as well. I wouldn't say the mangonadas from here are good as the ones in Stockton, but I liked it was fresh and still a sweet and refreshing treat. Would come back for the mangonadas! I also got elote in a cup, which they give you a lot! They give you generous cotija cheese, so it was yummy and warm! The pinwheel chips were good but the standard pinwheel chip. I would love to come back and try their fruit in a cup. The pictures of it looked so amazing that I do want to come back. If you want something light and refreshing , this is the spot. This place has several options from fresh fruit , shrimp and fruit, and mango sherbert (many more, some of my top favorites) that will hit the spot on a hot day. Prices are excellent! They have sorbet (non dairy) ice cream which is great for being lactose intolerant! Ordered everything I could afford. The corn is delicious, nice and hot. The mangonadas and the mango 50/50 looked bomb but my bf and his brother had those. They ate it quick so I'm sure it was good. I got the strawberry guava cone and that was perfectly sweet. Only one thing that would minus half a star :/. In the whole ceviche there was only 3 shrimps. I know it's not shrimp ceviche but there could have been half a dozen or something with the imitation crab. Other than that I'll be back once I'm in Modesto again! read more

The Miami smoothie (with extra lime!) takes the cake for best menu item. It blows Jamba and other smoothie places out of the water, especially for someone who likes supporting local small businesses. I love this place. We are from out of town and looking for a milkshake. It had great reviews and thought we would try. We got there and the place was busy but super clean! The atmosphere was lively and they quickly greeted us. They offered ceviche and fruits, odd combo but tied in well with each other. My husband ordered the ceviche and he said he really good and healthy. They had bubble gum ice cream and the young man offered to make it into a milkshake...he won my heart! I honestly to god love and adore this place so so much. I used to live across the street and walk here daily I live 30 min away now and still go here. Corn cups are bomb, tostilocos amazing, cucumber ceviche boats are great for eating healthy By far the best thing here is their aguas Frescas. They have different flavors daily which are all delicious and if you save the receipt you can refill it once a day. I mix my flavors up. Best I've tried was guava peach and strawberry mango. Amazing to the maxxximum. The earlier you go the fresher the juice, but they're always good. I think the only thing I tried that I didn't like was the ice cream cookie sand which didn't taste fresh, cookies were hard. Go here for fruit! Probably my favorite place in Modesto. read more
