Complete Failure. Paid for experience, received inadequate labor…read more I hired All Service Movers expecting a professional crew capable of handling a move involving stairs. At $210 per hour for a three-person crew, they were the most expensive company I considered. I chose them mainly because I expected the quality to match the price. I got burned on this one. When scheduling the move, I explained it involved one flight of stairs at the pickup location and two flights of stairs at the destination. The heaviest items were standard household furniture including dressers, a sofa bed, tables, and similar items. There were no safes, pianos, appliances, or other unusually heavy items. When discussing how many movers would be needed, I was told two would probably be enough. I chose to pay for a three-person crew mainly because of the stairs, expecting they would handle it better. From the beginning, it was obvious the crew struggled navigating the stairs, repeatedly stopping to reposition furniture and moving at a pace that unnecessarily extended the job. I even found myself carrying heavy boxes over my shoulders up the stairs, and also taking items to the garage myself while paying for a three-person moving crew. I did this not only because I couldn't bear to watch the crew struggle, but also because the clock was ticking and every unnecessary delay was costing me more money. The move lasted 8 3/4 hours, went into overtime, and I was charged for the additional time. Even after that, the move was not completed. Furniture still needed to be placed and assembled. I chose to end the job once I witnessed the dolly scraping on my newly installed flooring. That's when I flipped. Told them it's time to go. It didn't dawn on me that they'd been using an unprotected dolly throughout the move. Once they left, I started unpacking and inspecting my stuff further. I discovered additional damage to my freshly painted walls, new and existing furniture, stair trim, and a scratch on my newly installed sliding door. To put this into perspective, Home Depot later delivered multiple large appliances up the exact same stairs using only two delivery personnel. They handled the stairs confidently without repeated stops or hesitation. I have also used another moving company in the past, and the difference in capability was obvious. The effort the movers put in is not in question. They worked hard. The issue was the lack of experience, strength, proper equipment, and overall capability needed to handle this type of move. In my opinion, All Service Movers failed to assign a crew capable of handling this type of stair move. Their lack of efficiency cost me additional overtime charges, resulted in unnecessary damage to my home and belongings, and left the move unfinished. To make matters worse, after documenting the damage with photographs and submitting a claim, the company offered only $100 toward an estimated $400 in damages. And the $400 estimate was generous. I cannot recommend All Service Movers based on my experience. A professional moving company should assign a crew capable of performing the job they were hired to do without causing unnecessary damage, unnecessary overtime charges, and an incomplete move. Still unpacking. Hope there's no additional damage.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this moving company and would strongly caution others before booking. During my move, one full box of kitchen essentials (valued at approximately $400) went missing. The company denied responsibility, despite the fact that the box was packed and accounted for prior to the move. When I attempted to resolve the issue, I was told compensation would be based on a rate of approximately $0.20 per pound -- which is not remotely reflective of the actual value of the lost items and felt misleading at best. In addition, the movers arrived without proper equipment. Instead of bringing standard power tools to efficiently disassemble and reassemble furniture, they relied on basic hand tools, which significantly increased the total time -- and therefore the cost -- of what was already an hourly service. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, inefficient, and ultimately untrustworthy. Between the missing items, lack of proper tools, and questionable claims process, I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable moving service. Customers deserve transparency, professionalism, and accountability -- none of which were demonstrated here. read more

Do yourself a favor and just hire them. Ishmael and his team were truly outstanding. I was moving out of a very large home and still hadn't finished packing when they arrived. They immediately jumped in--packing items, disassembling furniture, and loading the truck quickly and efficiently. Unloading at the new place was just as smooth. Every member of the team was attentive and patient, letting me guide them on exactly where to place each item and box. After everything was moved in, I realized that I had taken incorrect measurements for one of the bedrooms, which left the room so full I could barely walk in it. When I had to ask the team to swap the rooms--essentially moving everything out of two bedrooms they had just finished setting up--they handled it with total professionalism, patience, warmth, and kindness. After receiving many quotes, Proper stood out as the best cost, least hassle and made sense for us. Their questionnaire was thorough and got an idea of all our furniture and items to be moved and from there we signed the quote and scheduled our move! This was the most competitive but also were so competitive that I had three people helping for the price of two...of course I gave them a great tip --- they earned it!!! They called prior to showing up and when they arrived they got to work. I treated them to IN N OUT also, and they were very appreciative. I hired them today for a move about 30 miles and they were absolutely great! 2 movers + 1 truck Oleg & Ismael were great!! Very professional and fast! The guys arrived on time and explained the move process and got right to work. They loaded/unloaded everything for a 1 large 1 bedroom apartment in 3.25 hours. The drive was 30 mins + double time per California state law. Total time 4.25 hours. I was skeptical about paying movers but these guys were amazing and they wrapped and protected everything like it was their own property. This is a great moving company. I was looking for movers for the next day! On a Saturday, during the first of the month. I was looking at so many companies and I am so glad I choose Proper Moving company. I had a small distance move with many stairs and needed assembly and re-assembly of our furniture. You never know what expect when hiring new movers because I had really bad experience last 2-3 years. These guys were super professional and fast! Baha, Egor and Yernur have done an incredible job in moving 3-bedroom house within 10 hours, before I moved within 15 hours with really slow movers. These movers used unlimited stretch wraps and blankets. Showed up on time and called with an estimated arrival time. They were polite and friendly with my kids and pets. Nick, Max & Bakha made our first big move to LA so much easier! I couldn't ask for more responsive, quick and hardworking movers. BZ Moving did a great job moving our two bedroom apartment to our 4 bedroom house. They took apart our large furniture and put it back together which was crucial. What was also great is they wrapped everything in plastic and or padding to protect everything. I was very pleased with how they did this. I was very nervous about our newly painted pure white walls but nothing major happened to those as well, nothing broken, and otherwise everything handled with care. The has cracked a mirror that was beveled and replaced most of the pieces with flat ugly mirrors without my consent. They ruined it , it was a 1500 piece , original they offered me 75 dollars for the damage. After much complaining they offered me 125 ... they finally agreed to pick it up and fix it the correct way . However they didn't and then claimed that this was previous fixed and they replaced all the pieces to match ... a lie . I purchased this last year and had never been damaged or broken. They took it upon themselves to do it with out my knowledge or consent. When I contacted them again they refused to answer me . Finally got a text with these lies. On top of it the movers did not speak English and were terrified that if I field a claim they would be fired - since they were not legally in this country . This is the last thing you need to deal with when you are moving- save yourself the headache and go anywhere else. Also not sure but this review keeps disappearing...that is how shady they are

They finished moving me in a little over 3 hours and were gentle with every box and piece of furniture-- even taking care not to slam the doors. They checked my tv for damage before and after the move, and they also double checked I was okay with the final placement of my bigger furniture pieces. I'll definitely be contacting them again for any future moves :)
