DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! By far the worst moving…read moreexperience of my life. This company was subcontracted by American van lines to fulfil our contract with AVL. To make a very long story short, we were verbally promised delivery within 7-10 days, latest was July 10th, of the pick up date. That did not happen. They even blew past the 20 day delivery window in the contract. Our delivery did not show up until July 27th. All the while we were receiving harassing texts demanding the rest of the payment or else they would turn around. And when the truck did finally arrive, only the driver was present to unload it. We paid for loading and unloading services and were basically left on own with the driver to unload. I have a physical disability and was unable to help, so my partner bore the burden of five grueling hours of unloading a 26 foot moving truck with the driver. We contacted the company after an hour or two passes and still no other movers arrived and were told that, in fact, they WERE there! They even argued with us saying that the movers confirmed they would be there in 45 minutes, 2 hours ago. And yet. No movers. Also the driver used a slur in front of my partner and I about a group of people that I belong to. Absolutely disgusting.

Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the male employee who works here is always very kind and helpful, and I genuinely DID love this business as it was run very well in the past and its always been very clean and safe, but they took advantage of me this time around and I just really do not appreciate it, especially having previously been a happy, long-time client with only positive experiences before this. Its insulting and takes advantage of both me and my mom during a vulnerable moment in our lives. Once again, another business corrupted by prioritizing profit margins over people. They were professional, respectful, and treated my wife, kids, our home, and every single one of our belongings like they were their own. They worked their tails off all day without slowing down, stayed positive, and made what could have been an incredibly stressful move feel easy. It's rare to find a crew that works this hard while also being genuinely good people. Their work ethic, attention to detail, and customer service were second to none. I moved from a high rise apartment to a single family home with stairs and was very pleased to find out that they did not charge any stair fee or any other weird fees. They took apart our large furniture and put it back together which was crucial. What was also great is they wrapped everything in plastic and or padding to protect everything. I was very pleased with how they did this. I was very nervous about our newly painted pure white walls but nothing major happened to those as well, nothing broken, and otherwise everything handled with care. I am glad they do! Moving from a 3rd-floor 2B/2B to a 2nd floor unit (stairs at both ends!!) is no small task, but Ryan and John made it look easy. I'm a customer service professional myself so let me break it down for you: Communication & Service: my move was a bit chaotic. I requested about six different quotes as my destination and service needs kept shifting right up until the week of my move (talk about running up against the clock, eek!!!). They were so patient, professional, and, more importantly, available! I even texted a question on a Sunday afternoon expecting a Monday morning reply only to have the whole issue resolved the same day in under five minutes. Their responsiveness is unmatched. Care & Handling: they treated my property like their own. They laid down canvas to protect the carpets and skillfully wrapped and stacked everything. I have several pieces of artwork and a massive California king bed that is a nightmare to navigate through stairwells, but they handled it with ZERO issues. Not a single dented corner or broken glass in the whole lot. Plus, they provided wardrobe boxes for my hanging clothes at no extra charge (provided I returned them), which was a big time-saver. Pricing & Reliability: the price quoted was exactly what I paid. They were upfront about factors like stairs and specialty items, so there were no surprises. They are competitively priced, but the level of service you get makes them the best value on the market imo. And believe me, I reached out to four different companies during the initial RFQ process, and none of them had the level of personal service or value-for-price that BZ did (which, coupled with my previous experience with them, is why I chose them). Logistics: they were exactly on time for both loading and delivery. They confirmed the arrival window the day before and they still text me the day-of to let me know they were on their way and reconfirmed their arrival time. So helpful!!! For the interstate leg, they provided a tracking link so I could see exactly where the truck was while I was driving separately. Seriously, if you want a team you can trust implicitly with your belongings (and your sanity), hire BZ Moving. I didn't have to lift a finger and I couldn't be happier with the experience.
