DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! By far the worst moving…read moreexperience of my life. This company was subcontracted by American van lines to fulfil our contract with AVL. To make a very long story short, we were verbally promised delivery within 7-10 days, latest was July 10th, of the pick up date. That did not happen. They even blew past the 20 day delivery window in the contract. Our delivery did not show up until July 27th. All the while we were receiving harassing texts demanding the rest of the payment or else they would turn around. And when the truck did finally arrive, only the driver was present to unload it. We paid for loading and unloading services and were basically left on own with the driver to unload. I have a physical disability and was unable to help, so my partner bore the burden of five grueling hours of unloading a 26 foot moving truck with the driver. We contacted the company after an hour or two passes and still no other movers arrived and were told that, in fact, they WERE there! They even argued with us saying that the movers confirmed they would be there in 45 minutes, 2 hours ago. And yet. No movers. Also the driver used a slur in front of my partner and I about a group of people that I belong to. Absolutely disgusting.

That would have been really nice to know before we signed up, especially considering the first time I rented here my rent only increased twice IN SIX YEARS. This has never been their standard business practice until now, and I'm really disgusted to see them pulling this BS on their customers this time around, especially with the economy being so bad and people are barely scraping by. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the male employee who works here is always very kind and helpful, and I genuinely DID love this business as it was run very well in the past and its always been very clean and safe, but they took advantage of me this time around and I just really do not appreciate it, especially having previously been a happy, long-time client with only positive experiences before this. Its insulting and takes advantage of both me and my mom during a vulnerable moment in our lives. Once again, another business corrupted by prioritizing profit margins over people. When I'm was a kid, there was a certain entertainment value to taking a trip "to the dump." My dad…read morewould load up the truck with old junk and off we would go into the foothills where, for a nominal fee, you could push all the crap out of your truck onto the ground... all while flocks of seagulls and crows poked through the trash for food while giant bulldozers and other cool machinery pushed the huge piles of stuff around. Fast forward 35 years, and now I am the dad with a big truckload of broken flooring and wall plaster that needs to go somewhere. Turns out the dump I went to as a kid is now all filled up, and features a golf course atop all those piles of trash buried beneath. So, with a huge mess on my hands, I started calling around to see where I could legally get rid of some stuff. I called this MRF, and they actually answered their phone. Since this simple move seems to be a rarity in the local industry, I ended up going there. I arrived at the facility, pulled my truck into the vehicle scale, and approached the window. COVID rules play here, but with the dust and god knows what blowing around, it's a good idea to mask up anyway. The place also requires patrons to wear safety vests, and they sell them for about five bucks if you don't have one. Note well: it ain't cheap. All sorts of rules, regulations, taxes, fees and the like have made this gig practically a Ben Franklin cost per trip. But I suppose it's better than trying to dump it illegally or hassling the "two scoops at a time" routine in your weekly trash pick up. They also did not weigh my truck on the way out, so I guess they just use a tare weight in my make and model. Who knows? Regardless, I made two trips here and got rid of most of the junk I needed to.

We rented a trailer and brought a lot of our trash that couldn't fit in our house bins. Minimum charge is $74 for a ton and you need a yellow vest for whoever is in the car that's going to go down. If you don't have one they sell it for like $4-5 dollars each one. So easy! And such a clean site for the fact that it's a place you dump trash! Would come back! Oh and they always answer the phone and are very nice

The one-star review seems misguided . . This was the most pleasant moving experience i've ever had and I'd gladly do it again if Luis and Javier were helping me! I had a one bedroom move with about 5 large pieces of furniture and about 10 boxes. They showed up on time, had the truck packed in less than an hour, furniture wrapped in plastic and moving blankets to protect it. Luis is an especially warm and charismatic individual, and though I didn't exchange as many words with Javier, he made quick work of unmounting my TV and installing its legs! Thank you guys again. They knew exactly how to protect a travertine slab which I was weary would break. DO NOT USE FAST MOVERS. We scheduled a move two weeks in advanced and the owner of fast movers Luis said he was busy and had to another move so we scheduled another day and the same thing happened again. So I have them one more chance he said he would give me a deal for messing up but then they took 5 hours and 4 movers to move my stuff from my studio apartment to another studio apartment. They move slow and they overcharge. I would not recommend using them. read more

I picked these guys cus they're a small team and you know who you're going to get, unlike the big companies that send you a random crew. I hired them twice and may hire a third time for final move. They're on time, well prepared and organized, and really are fast! Also, I had to switch my storage space at the last minute and they did not complain or have an issue. I warn you not hire fast movers, he has 1 experienced guy and the rest of the workers he gets Mexicans from Home Depot. He broke one of my dressers, he said he didn't have insurance but then he said it was broken before he moved it. I would get a lawsuit but the lawyer would cost more than the broken dresser. Make sure to get a moving company with insurance or you can get screwed. read more

I hired 3 helpers for 4 hours to load 2 1-bedroom apartments into a 26' Uhaul truck. They were great. Did the job in 4 hours and packed the truck very efficiently. The apartments had very tricky and small elevators, but they powered through it. I am glad I hired Fast Movers. Worth every penny and saved my injured back from getting worse or having to rely on friends. Thank you. read more

I called the Luis the boss and he quoted me for 450$ for 2 guys for 2 hours with truck to move with stuff from studio apartment to another apartment and when the movers came they were moving very slow and they took an extra hour becuase they move so slow and then charge me an xtra 150$. Once it was the day of the move I received a text and e-mail that they would be arriving shortly. The movers had wrap to protect the furniture and blankets to the protect the more delicate items. All of them were very careful with everything and would check in and ask questions when needed, which I appreciated. You can tell they take pride in what they do, everything was wrapped and handled in a way that made me feel comfortable that nothing would get damaged. They were also super efficient without being careless. They worked well together and kept things moving without it feeling rushed. I am really happy with their service (as stressful as moving is and also needing to down size homes as well) - they took a massive load off, no pun intended. They were very cost effective and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing to book A+ movers!

Huge shoutout to Mighty Pro Movers and especially Dan, Tom, and Sawn for helping with my move. They…read moredid arrive later than expected, but after seeing how hard these guys worked, I completely understood. Moving all day from job to job has to be exhausting, and they still showed up ready to work. They were efficient, professional, and very careful with all of my belongings throughout the entire move. Nothing felt rushed or careless. We didn't finish until around 10pm, and despite how long the day must have been for them, they kept a great attitude and stayed focused until everything was done properly. Really appreciate the effort and work ethic from the whole team. Thanks again Dan, Tom, and Sawn for making a stressful move go smoothly.

Contracted this company for my move a few weeks ago…read more I have never used a moving company before, therefore, I have nothing to compare this experience to. But here is a list of pro's and con's: Pro's: Team showed up promptly on time Wrapped furniture Moved quickly Cost effective Con's: Dinged/knicked some furniture pieces (dresser, fridge) Was unable to relocate washer and gas dryer for liability reasons, so I had to hire an additional mover for those appliances Place the furniture every which way and whatever at the new rental Conclusion: I appreciated their honesty and straightforward answers when it came to moving/relocating certain items. Perhaps I would use them again for future moves. I'm just grateful for all their heavy lifting and time.
