BZ Moving did a great job moving our two bedroom apartment to our 4 bedroom house. We had most of our place boxed up, but there was a good amount of smaller floating items that they consolidated into closet boxes and otherwise had to figure out. They took apart our large furniture and put it back together which was crucial. What was also great is they wrapped everything in plastic and or padding to protect everything. I was very pleased with how they did this. I was very nervous about our newly painted pure white walls but nothing major happened to those as well, nothing broken, and otherwise everything handled with care. I just moved this past weekend. I used BZ Moving for an across-town move a few years ago and was so impressed that I reached out to see if they handled interstate relocations. I am glad they do! Moving from a 3rd-floor 2B/2B to a 2nd floor unit (stairs at both ends!!) is no small task, but Ryan and John made it look easy. I'm a customer service professional myself so let me break it down for you: Communication & Service: my move was a bit chaotic. I requested about six different quotes as my destination and service needs kept shifting right up until the week of my move (talk about running up against the clock, eek!!!). They were so patient, professional, and, more importantly, available! I even texted a question on a Sunday afternoon expecting a Monday morning reply only to have the whole issue resolved the same day in under five minutes. Their responsiveness is unmatched. Care & Handling: they treated my property like their own. They laid down canvas to protect the carpets and skillfully wrapped and stacked everything. I have several pieces of artwork and a massive California king bed that is a nightmare to navigate through stairwells, but they handled it with ZERO issues. Not a single dented corner or broken glass in the whole lot. Plus, they provided wardrobe boxes for my hanging clothes at no extra charge (provided I returned them), which was a big time-saver. Pricing & Reliability: the price quoted was exactly what I paid. They were upfront about factors like stairs and specialty items, so there were no surprises. They are competitively priced, but the level of service you get makes them the best value on the market imo. And believe me, I reached out to four different companies during the initial RFQ process, and none of them had the level of personal service or value-for-price that BZ did (which, coupled with my previous experience with them, is why I chose them). Logistics: they were exactly on time for both loading and delivery. They confirmed the arrival window the day before and they still text me the day-of to let me know they were on their way and reconfirmed their arrival time. So helpful!!! For the interstate leg, they provided a tracking link so I could see exactly where the truck was while I was driving separately. The crew boss had a bad attitude, their attention to detail was mediocre at best, and they even forgot to move one of the most important pieces in the move, which I had to contract for later separately with a different provider. The only reason why this is not a five star is that there might have been a miscommunication with the company on start time. We started an 1.5 hr later than scheduled start time - idk if there was a misunderstanding on the booking/scheduling side of the company or what. But when that was taken care of, they called me when they were arriving and when they got here, they were very efficient and really took care of our items. Horrific experience during an extremely vulnerable and stressful time (moving unexpectedly as a single mom who works full time). The mover they sent (random contracted peopled???) verbally hit on me numerous times and then casually approached me and TOUCHED me. Literally massaged my shoulders after all my things were loaded into the truck. Behaved as though they were casual friends being paid in pizza and beer rather than professionals. Guilted me for not having a group of people there helping lift/move. I had to call a male friend to meet me at drop off location because I was so uncomfortable & the mover asked if it was my brother ..... I brought this up to the business the same day, and they never followed up with me as promised. Attached photo is the sticker on the truck they moved me in. So you'll probably be okay hiring this company if you're male but otherwise, cannot recommend. Oh also they had given me a 1-3pm window, showed up at 3:30 and told it would be an 8 hour job.... because they obviously didn't want to do it? It took what seemed like an hour wasted just to disassemble my child's bed (which wasn't thus reassembled) and the whole process was drawn out, long & extremely uncomfortable. Ultimately I think the move was done in 5 hours (I lugged boxes/furniture the entire time too) - but it was infuriating to be treated like I was inconveniencing people I was paying. I was clear in the original booking that I needed help with disassembly/reassembly. Just sad. read more

Man oh man!! I used BZ moving twice. Because I clearly underestimated 8 years worth of living Ryan is so responsive and super kind. The first job, Sam was my mover and he was great. Super efficient. Moved my 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom. Him and his partner also built my bed frame and just great. This second time was a smaller haul but Ryan was my mover. I said Ryan, you do the moving as well. Like wahhh!! That's commendable for me. Ryan and partner was able to move my items PLUS build my dining room table and chair. I'm super happy with the results. The price was in my budget. I would like to update my review a bit. We still had a pretty bad experience the first day with the crew that was sent. They were late getting there took way longer than we anticipated and stripped my son's bed, to the point they couldn't move it that day. It took me a while to get in touch with a supervisor. When he finally called he apologized and automatically offered to send someone out to fix it the next day. Thankfully they sent another crew out, at whatever time was convenient for me. They were able to take the bed apart, repair it, and move it at no extra cost. It's a pretty close repair to the original so I am happy with it.
