I gave up on my dreams a long time ago. Mostly because of my sleep apnea which doesn't let me sleep long enough to even start any of the night terrors I used to have. It's gotten to the point where I feel like a fraud. You know when people ask how you've been and you reply with the classic flavorless bullshit response, "Just out here living the dream"? I can't even do that anymore because I feel bad about lying.. about lying. JK I don't feel bad. Anyway, I decided this wasn't the life I wanted to live. I wanted my dreams back because I genuinely missed setting unrealistic goals in my sleep. Side note - one of my dreams almost came true until I tore my ACL trying to moonwalk at Walmart. Long story short, I invested in a CPAP machine which was expensive AF and left me with a dry mouth/throat when I woke up. I was certain that I had exhausted all options no pun intended. It may seem like an unorthodox method to some, but I decided to take a leap of faith. I got lit with the intention to black out. It worked. I had a tidal wave of bullshit ass dreams but I still didn't feel satisfied. It was like a preview to a really exciting movie that wasn't going to come out. It was like Dre's Detox being talked about for 20 years and still not dropping. Sorry about that. I had to get that out. After 15 minutes of self-reflection, hateration and holleration, I decided to call my good friend Mike. I wanted to inquire about the current tippin status and see if it was "still". I felt he was the perfect person to call. I've seen his transformation from back then when hoes didn't want him to present day where the hoes are all on him. By the end of the call, I acquired absolutely zero useful information. I decided to move on and that's when it hit me. There's been a lot of talk on the streets, the internet and even in my daily astrology subscription that I can't figure out how to cancel. At first I thought it was going to be one of those Tony Robbins positivity things where he sells you an opportunity to listen to how to solve your problems. Did Mr Robbins solve my problems? NOPE! Did Less Stress Moving calm em? YUP! Was I more stressed from the nonsense? NOPE! Less Stress Moving are now my best friends? YUP! Disrespectful with the price? NOPE! On point like a decimal, just right? YUP! Did I stay with my wife? NOPE! Now I live a better life? YUP! Everybody got choices and gosh darn it, I'm going to choose Less Stress Moving every time. You know how they say, "that's how the cookie crumbles"? I wondered for years what hell happened to the cookie that slipped out of my hands that one lonely night. After they moved my fat boy chair, there it was. Not only did the cookie crumble in my favor by allowing me to find amazing service, I literally found my cookie. So that was tight, similar to my pants when I button them up all the way. Speaking of tight, my budget was also in a similar condition. Working hard and doing what you're being paid to do is one thing, but the meticulous attention to detail as if they're playing a game of Tetris with their life on the line was pretty neat. Anyway, back to my budget being tight. I tried to pull a fast one when I was going over pricing with Mr. Robert by saying that his cousin referred me. Apparently, he doesn't have any cousins named Seymour. He informed me that it didn't matter because anybody whose business he earns isn't just a name on an invoice. It's a client that he intends to have for life and on top of that, treats as family. Professionalism is cool but can also be dry at times. It's the experience provided by his team overall that he counts on to leave the lasting impression. I used Rob's company to move my belongings from a storage container to my home. They never told me that they were going to use a smaller trailer and van to haul my belongings. They only told me that they were not able to fit all of my belongings in their trailer and van until after they have unloaded everything. After they have unloaded everything, they told me that they will come back the following Monday with the remaining load. They never went back on Monday. I called Rob several times and I texted him. He never responded. He just disappeared. Be careful when hiring this company. Don't let Rob sweet talk you into hiring him. These guys did a decent job, and I found them via Yelp services. Still waiting on a finalized invoice from the owner. I paid $595 for 4.5 hours for a two person team to move 5 miles. I thought the move would go much faster given my lack of large items- only a TV, loveseat, dining table, PC table, and queen bed. The two person team took special care to wrap everything important which I appreciated. They were also very friendly. However, things were slow at times and I probably moved 1/3 of the items by myself. There is a fuel surcharge as well (standard for all movers these days) yet I'm actually unsure of that amount or if I was charged the cash or CC price- I paid via Zelle. Definitely shop around for movers. Less Stress was decent, but I wish they would be more transparent on price and speed things up a bit. read more

We had time booked for 12-1 Robert called said they would be there at 1:30 then at 1:30 I asked where they were he said 30 minutes after 30 minutes they still were not there 2:33 they still were not there! So odd to see all these great reviews and in turn give them one star. And that's because i have to put a star on. Unfortunately my experience I had had horrible horrible communication between myself, Rob and the movers on the day of the move. On the day of my move i expected movers to be at my home at 10am to begin. After repeatedly calling, texting and emailing Rob I began repeatedly calling the main office looking to see what time the movers are coming since according to my watch they are 20mins behind schedule. On the phone it was discussed 10am to 12pm but the error on was the movers misreading my message as come whenever you want as long as its between 10am to 12pm. Movers finally came around 11:15am and still no word or call from anyone prior. aside from the miscommunication on time the two movers were extremely unprofessional right off the bat had condicending attitudes as to it was my fault i wasnt clear on the time. I don't work for a moving company so why is it my sole fault. I over the phone said syart at 10am!!!! After going back and forth it just made me even more upset so I told them their services were no longer needed. Once the movers finished yelling and screaming profanity and drove away Rob FINALLY reached out. Miscommunication is one thing but unprofessional movers who were condescending right off the bat and are okay yelling out porfanity because there services were no longer needed is not okay. My neighbors and landlord heard everything. Extremely beyond unprofessional. I'm sure if I was a man or there was a man around they wouldn't have done that! Will not recommend to anyone. read more

They gave me 72 hours to move everything across town. Everyone had warned me that it would be difficult to find someone available to deliver these items on such short notice, especially considering their size. I called up Rob, and he went above and beyond to help me out, getting a couple of his guys to deliver across town after-hours ON A FRIDAY. Cannot recommend these guys enough! Rob was quick to respond, gave me all the information and even checked in the night before to confirm everything! There was a change in the price a couple of times (was initially $95/hr and we checked out it was $100/hr so that was an extra $10 for the 2 hours we needed) and the guys arrived at 2pm when we scheduled the move for 12:30pm but traffic and other things can't be helped and it wasn't a big deal as we had a small space and wouldn't need help for too long! Of course, they charged us beginning at 1:30pm but got here closer to 1:45 and dealt with the parking situation for 15mins (another $50 we didn't anticipate). But otherwise, they were quick, nice, masked up with COVID precautions, etc. so honestly, we didn't mind getting a little messed with on the money side. It was a painless and quick process so we'll be hiring them again for our next move!! Thanks guys!! read more
