Alex and his crew worked tirelessly to move our entire four bedroom house. They wrapped our couches and furniture in secure wrapping to protect it. Had a great experience with Movers. Alberto, Elmer and Bobby showed up between 8 and 9 just as I was told. They were polite and friendly, moved quickly and even though they had stairs at both places got the job done in a descent about of time. We could not have done this move with out them. Had to make two trips as my garage was full too, their attitudes were amazing. Forgot to give them my yelp coupon so emailed them two days later and got an immediate credit. Short Version: My experience today makes be feel like all of these 5 star reviews are total SPAM. It may be possible they are generally good, but today was NOT 5 star worthy by any shot. If you want to hire these people, you are gambling because they could be good, but they also send you a shit show like they sent me today. Longer Version: They sent two scrawny little guys, who arrived after 11am when they were supposed to be at my place between 9-10am. They said their day started with someone stealing a part they needed from their truck, and showed up with a dirty truck with broken headlights. They did not take my advice on how to dismantle my furniture, and tried and failed to get pieces through the door that were way too big without dismantling properly, or did way too much work to disassemble pieces that didn't need to broken down so small. I quite literally had 13 items of furniture (moved all the small items myself) for them to move (16 if you break the bed down into a bed frame, mattress and box spring), and they took 3.5 hours and lost some of my items (and then said it wasn't their fault they lost them? Really?). How is that possible? And they took long breaks, seemingly to increase the time so they could make more money off of me, since it was hourly pay. I have moved my items myself a handful of times, and as an "unfit" 25 year old, 115 pound woman with a parent helping I did the work more efficiently and didn't lose anything. At the end of the day, they just gave up on some of the items they were supposed to take upstairs in my house and just left them in the garage. I seriously don't know how these guys are considered professional movers, they are lucky I even paid them at all. I negotiated the pay down to only 2 hours due to all the crazy they brought. There are other small details that pissed me off, but these are really just the major issues. DON'T HIRE THESE PEOPLE. Advice: Just get some fit friends or neighbors, rent a furniture dolly and a u-haul, and you'll likely do a much better job. Moving is an anxiety provoking task already, don't let these guys make it 10x worse for you. Good luck! read more

I had a great expierence with Movers Calabasas. They were very curtious on the phone and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I had to move on short notice and they were very acomodating and scheduled me right in. They moved me from Westwood back to Rowland heights. On the day of the move they were right on time actually even a couple of minutes early. The move went just as planned and they were very quick and efficient. Everything was labeled and organized.
