I used Trek Movers for my move on 12/2/25 ,and could not be happier with the experience Trek gave me. The two movers, Tim, the crew leader, and Sergei, were both very professional, courteous, and took great care with all of my possessions. I had a lot of furniture and 85 boxes and a long stairway for them to go down, and they were very careful with their hand trucks on each step. Nothing I own was damaged. Tim also disassembled and reassembled a large dining table I was concerned about. I left some items curbside for LA Sanitation "Bulky Item Pickup" (I had previously arranged the pickup) to pick up the next day (which they did), and both movers cooperated with me every step of the way. They were also careful moving items into the hardwood floors of my new apartment, reassembling the table, lamps etc. in my new place. I chose Trek because of their very favorable reviews on Yelp and Google, but what really sold me on them was the way their Customer Service people Arthur and Andrew handled my initial calls. I called several movers, but both Arthur and Andrew at Trek were outstanding communicators and from the first call made me feel confident and well informed regarding my move. They were very helpful throughout the 3 week time period from first contact to move completion. Trek's strong commitment to full disclosure and transparency was evident from the beginning. Really great experience with Trek Movers, from the start over a Yelp lead, to the excellent conversation over the phone w/ Helen, to the actual move with the 6 movers. I told them what I needed, and they were very clear and up-front. I sent them pictures of my 3 storage units, as well as the temporary house where I was staying, so that there was no misunderstanding as to what would be involved. They said they'd provide 3 trucks, and 6 movers (1 active lead, and 5 other movers). The lead was South African, and the other 5 were Russian (Helen, too, sounded Russian). They were really polite, and even though the move took longer than they had anticipated, they stayed the course, and completed the move to my complete satisfaction. I gave them a hefty tip (~25%) since my wife and I were so grateful for the great service, despite the record-breaking heat wave that day in LA. If I ever needed to move something again, I'd reach out to these guys first. read more

Arthur and James were great to work with. Very communicative, and proactive. I had them move 24 windows and 3 doors off a giant semi truck on to theirs. They had not worked with windows and doors before and made sure to strap them in and pad them as need. They arrived to the jobsite in good condition and our client was happy! I needed a last minute move and these guys responded in minutes, they came within two hours notice, loaded and unloaded everything promptly, made sure everything was not damaged when at destination. Andrew was the driver and he made it quick from location 1 to location 2 and Vazgen and Anton where smiling and happy to do whatever we needed them to do. I don't normally provide reviews to companies that I chose not to do business with, but my review is really about the words "reasonable" I see in their previous reviews and how that was not true for me. I requested help from numerous companies via Yelp and so far all have offered to do a video call with me and a preliminary estimate. I am moving 441 miles from California to Arizona and the estimates I've been receiving have ranged from $4,000 - $8,000. I met with Andrew yesterday and he was quite bland, did nit smile and was very "matter of fact" throughout our conversation. He also continued to remind me that most movers don't have insurance, will contract out their labor and that he will likely not be the lowest but he wouldn't be the highest. To me, it felt like he was prepping me to be floored. That I was. I showed him everything in my 3 bdrm townhome which is not crowded. I informed him I did not need packing services and we would simply not want to load and unload or to stress about the move. It was pretty straightforward. My previous move was 180 miles and my cost was just under $3,000. I received the quote from Trek for $20,080. My mouth hit the floor and then I realized that maybe they just didn't want the job. I gave them one star because for me they are 2-4 times the cost estimates I've already received. It was a blatant display of price gouging I've seen yet. I would not recommend them at all. read more

I can't say enough about how smooth this last minute move went off. I was disappointed with another carrier that was not returning my messages and made me insecure about whether they were serious about my move. I've had a few unpleasant experiences with movers in the past and was not up for another. Anyway, with Trek I first requested a quote with Dave that was totally reasonable and then had a follow up with Joe about the fine details. The next day my entire 3 bedroom house was being carefully packed by an attentive moving crew. It was a first for me to see well behaved and presentable workers actually caring about my possessions. Such a pleasure to give the moving men a generous tip. After unpacking all the breakables I'm totally satisfied. The pricing was up front and there was zero loss or damage, so rare these days!
