Jeff and Jim helped me today move things way too heavy, like it was nothing. They helped moved my family twice before but they also do so many other things too. They are one-stop-shopping and very affordable with great generous deals they give. read more

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU JIM !!!!! It was an honor to meet you and Buck today. To everybody else........my only regret is that I don't have more work to give this company. Jim and Buck arrived on time. Down to the exact minute. Professional and kind and fun to work with. Greatest moving experience ever. read more

we recently moved within Thousand oaks, and our realtor recommended two different moving companies, one of which was Good Hands movers. I interviewed both companies and chose to hire Jim with Good Hands movers. Jim gave me a quote to move my house to the new location. The crew arrived on time and were most professional as well as pleasant. They worked longer hours than Jim has estimated, yet their work was most professional and handled all with utmost of care. At the end Jim, charged me exactly the amount that he's quoted me without an additional cent. This is the most honorable moving company I have ever dealt with, and I highly recommend Jim and his Good Hands moving company. read more

We recently hired Good Hands Movers to move my wife and I from Simi Valley, Ca. to Lake Arrowhead Ca. They were amazing! They arrived on time, were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They took care in preparing our furniture, artwork and fragile items for a safe trip by wrapping them with plastic wrap and blankets. Upon arriving at our new home they carefully unloaded our belongings and made sure everything was where we wanted it to be. They were concerned, thoughtful and a real pleasure to work with. I would hire them again without hesitation should we ever move again. Great service at a great price. Thank you Jim and crew for a great job! read more

Simple and Easy! Jim was very responsive during the process. He and his crew were on time and friendly. They moved a spinet piano with ease. Great price! Would recommend for any moving needs! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Good Hands Movers. From start to finish, they were absolutely outstanding. They arrived right on time and got straight to work, handling everything with efficiency and care. Not only did they complete the job in a timely manner, but they also went above and beyond by doing extra tasks for me without hesitation. Their communication was stellar--they checked in with me regularly to ensure everything was to my liking and that nothing was missed. The pricing was more than fair, especially considering the level of service they provided. Moving can be so stressful, but this team made it seamless and even enjoyable. If you're looking for movers who are professional, hardworking, and genuinely care about their customers, look no further. Highly recommend! This was a referral from a friend of mind and now I will continue to refer them! Wendy E read more

Moving is often at or near the top of the list of life's most stressful events. It sure felt that way to us when it came time to pack up our home of 17 years and move it all out of state. But when moving day actually came, these guys made everything so easy and stress-free. Jim's pricing is very reasonable and 100% transparent, with no last minute surprises. He and his team showed up when they said they would. We had rented a 26 foot truck to drive ourselves and tasked them with loading it up. This they did quickly and carefully, making sure to secure everything for a long distance drive. The quality of their work was made evident when we reached our our destination one week and 1,000 miles later, with all of our possessions arriving completely undamaged. I can't imagine another moving company doing a better job for the price we paid. Simply the best! read more

Good Hand Movers were great! Jim and Dylan worked so hard and were so fast. Start time was 9 am. They were there right at 9. Everything they moved was handled with care. I highly recommend! read more

Good Hand Movers were amazing!!! We had 3 large pieces of furniture that needed to be picked up from a warehouse and delivered and set up in our home. Jim was so responsive and even made it happen the day we called. Jim & Buck were prompt, polite, extremely careful with our new furniture and the floor in our home. They also moved some pieces out of the house for us to make room for the new. They went the extra step and fixed a hinge that wasn't installed properly. Their pricing was very fair and competitive. We highly recommend Good Hand Movers and appreciate their professionalism. read more

Nothing has seemed so hard as moving with 2 kids under 3 1/2 years old. Too many boxes and wrapping and packing and unpacking. Jim and the team truly took care of us and made the whole move flow so peacefully from the beginning. First I spoke to Jim on the phone and he made me feel at ease about everything, just speaking to him, you know you'll be taken care of. From there, they helped us with our move on two separate days and move everything with great care and unpacked things perfectly and thoughtfully. The communication after the move and the cleanup was also perfect. Thanks Jim and team for a great move and affordable rates! read more

These guys are hands down unbelievable. I've moved 4 times in LA and have always had mixed experiences. Jim and Joe exceeded every expectation and then some. We had such a complicated move - 2 different locations to pick up furniture from, a 3 story apartment to move things into; they did it all with a smile on and a cheery attitude. I will never use another moving company again. Thank you both x100 read more

Jim was recommended by our realtor when we moved to our new home a couple years. We could not be happier with his work. He is a very hard worker and responsible. We had a minor issue during the move which he promised to resolve at a future time. Unfortunately, the pandemic caused a lot of delay. Two years later after the move, he still honored his promises and followed through to resolve the issue for us. Now, that is #1 in our book since that is a rare quality nowadays with so many people wanting to take your money but don't want to assume responsibilities. We will definitely use his services again and highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you again, Jim for all your help. read more

If I could give this company 100 stars I would. After living at my home for 20+ years I severely underestimated the complexity of my move. What I thought would be a simple half day move turned into a multi day multi truck endeavor. Jim moved his already busy schedule around to accommodate me (without a complaint) and he and his amazing team got me and all of my belongings safely to my new home. (This was a local move from Agoura to Newbury Park but I know they do other So Cal area moves as well.) They also took the job of hauling all of my junk to the dump off my hands and that was no easy task as my garage was a disaster. When they originally got there, I "thought" i was already packed but they quickly realized i had not planned well and set into motion and took the task off my hands of professionally packing the remainder of my belongings in a way so my valuables wouldn't get broken. Wrapping all of my furniture so it wouldn't get damaged in the move and disassembling and reassembling larger furniture such as my entertainment center for me. They even helped me set up my TV in the new house when i was overwhelmed with all the wires! Talk about going the extra mile. On several occasions i was so overwhelmed i was nearly in tears and they joked with me and kept me grounded. Seriously I couldn't have done it without them. All of the members of the team worked long, hard hours with smiles on their faces. Never once took a break or made a complaint about anything. They spoke English and were honest professional, dedicated, caring, reasonably priced, communicative and respectful of me and my home. I Highly highly highly recommend if you are needing a mover in the area. Jim can be contacted at 818-880-7336 read more

Good Hands Movers moved us the second week of July, 2020. It wasn't an easy move, as they not only had to move our belongings from a home we'd lived in for 33 years, but they had to pick up additijnal items from a Storage Locker in Thousand Oaks. They worked quickly, as a team and all were friendly during the time they spent wrapping our furniture, so it wouldn't get damaged. Once all the items were in our new home, they had to pick up additional items we were storing in a local Storage Locker. They were fair with the price they charged and I was happy with their work. What surprised me the most, was in the evening I received a call from Jim to say he'd made a mistake in totaling the hours they'd worked, and he said he needed to refund me some money (which he immediately did). Imagine how shocked I was to find such honesty from a business! I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Good Hands Movers - you'll find they're careful with your furniture, efficient and honest. Thank you Jim and the guys who worked with you - you all did a great job! read more

I wish I could give 10 stars! My husband was very sick on the day of the move and without these 3 guys and their amazing work ethic I would have been completely lost! I was so impressed with after a 15 hour day still smiling and never once losing the absolute care and concern of moving our family. Totally professional and not one ding or scratch, even set up all the beds, which we were all so grateful for after such a long day! They were better priced than ANY other moving company as well! Thank you so much!!!! read more

I found these guys on craigslist and went with them because their prices were fair; not too low to be shady and not too high to be outrageously expensive either. I've been burned by fake 5 star reviews on Yelp so I decided to go off my gut on craigslist so my rating is based purely on my experience with this company. There is no muss, no fuss when you go with these guys. There isn't a lot of gimmicky advertising or creepy sales pitches. They arrive when they say they will, their pricing is fair and they speak English! They get down to business and are friendly but not overly chatty so that they get the work done in the time frame requested. They are professional and are so careful with not only your furniture but also your home. For instance there was mud in front of our house that had to be traversed before entering. The movers carefully laid blankets down in the entry way to the house and only walked on the blankets while methodically bringing in our furniture and placing them in the entryway. Once full, with clean feet they proceeded to place the furniture in their respective locations throughout the house. This professionalism and experience was extended to all aspects of items they moved. They took great care not to damage walls, were efficient with their movements but NOT so hasty as to be careless. I cannot guarantee they will do it for everyone but I even called them up last minute to help me with a mad dash to finish clearing the last miscellaneous items in the house. They happened to have a cancellation and was in the area and didn't charge me the gas fee associated with the service as they were already here. They didn't just go by the clock and performed some tasks that were outside of their realm of obligation (like battling some black widows). Overall I would recommend this company. read more

Jim and Marty moved us this last weekend and I could not be happier. They were professional and caring even with Grandmas armoire that required special handling. I felt comfortable and confident that all of my items were handled and managed with the best care. 10/10 would recommend for any level of move, they made a stressful day so much easier! read more

Jim and his colleague were great - I had to move a heavy sectional couch, table and other items from Agoura to Venice. They were on time, gave me a call the day before to confirm, and were very easy to work with, from initial call to final payment. very good rates, (my total bill was less than $200). Very nice people and efficient, we got the job done in a couple of hours and they took very good care of my couch and table, wrapping in shrinkwrap the couch. I would definitely use again if I need to move house. thanks for a great job, well done guys! read more

We found these guys on the Neighborhood app in Oak Park. They came highly recommended so I gave Jim a call. They were AMAZING! They worked so hard, moved everything from a two story townhouse into their truck and then into the new house. The two guys worked tirelessly and treated each item as if their own. I would highly recommend using them. They are honest, hard working and really pleasant. Jim and his co-worker were a joy to work with. read more

I agree! We used theirs services in Jan 2013 and we are using them again to help us move into our house. They were awesome! They were very careful with the furniture, went out of their way to make sure they avoided all possible dings, super nice guys, and they knew how to make the furniture fit! Very reasonable pricing as well! They are worth giving them a good tip (just FYI if you were thinking about it). If you go with bigger companies, make sure you talk to them instead of asking for a quote online. There are a bunch of hidden fees! Give these guys a call first - shop around! You won't be disappointed. read more
