There aren't enough words to describe the amazing service I got from BD Deliveries! All the guys worked so hard moving heavy furniture from a tri-level townhouse in the heat of Calabasas. They worked super hard, they so hard a smile on their faces and even sanded like they were having fun. Great guys! I had a friend help me try to move my 95" sofa into my home.Despite my careful measuring, we managed to get the sofa stuck in my entry hallway. The only alternative was to try to have it moved in through the French doors on my second story balcony. I was going to either rent a Genie Lift, or try to have it loaded on top of a box truck then brought it that way. Moving is stressful enough. The last thing anyone wants to deal with is getting price gauged in the process which is the #1 complaint with most movers or having your stuff broken or stolen! NOT BD! Barry and his crew came through my home and gave me a fair estimate. They came through days before the move to make sure their estimate was correct. They then sent a team out to pre-pack a day before the move and they were trustworthy, meticulous and protected my most valuable and big items. The day of the move they arrived on time, as promised and the team of 4 loaded everything we had! They were super troopers. We moved out of state and as promised, the unload team arrived on time and worked diligently, placing all of my boxes in the specific rooms I asked for. I have to stress not once, in all the things I asked for did I get an attitude or any answer other than that of accommodating! These guys work with smiles on their faces and work hard! They back their word! After I completely unpacked there were a few items broken. I messaged Barry and asked what could be done about this knowing full well most companies would say "you packed it, your problem"... but Barry did not. He asked me to estimate what the fair cost of damages was and then quickly reimbursed me. I have moved over 10 times and never have I seen a more communicative, friendly, hard working and trust worthy company. I highly recommend BD Deliveries. They delivered some additional moving boxes to our house before the big move-in day. They offered to haul any items to the dump afterwards (we would just pay for standard landfill fee but not for labor), which was extremely helpful because we had 2 couches to get rid of and 2 old shelving units in the garage at our new house. The guys were FAST, and they definitely had muscle . My husband was impressed that one of the guys was able to hoist and carry our filing cabinet (full of folders and papers) up the stairs. They moved all our appliances (fridge, washer, dryer) with care and successfully helped us assemble them at our new house. They disassembled 2 beds and 1 crib and reassembled them at the new house. They didn't need any manuals - they were just able to figure it out. They carefully moved all our paintings. So far I don't see any scratches or dings to any of our furniture or walls. They are also Christian movers and, before they got started, asked us if we wanted to join them in prayer. Hired this company for our move 50 miles away. We initially hired them for about 4 hours. Upon arrival and into the first hour, I asked if we needed more time would they be free. Frank informed me they were paid by the hour and we had them for as long as we needed them. I asked again later, even going as far as asking him if they out a cap on how many hours they work in a day, Frank said " We just keep going, we are good" I even considered cancelling my other appointment with another moving company. I called up, spoke with the owner we scheduled a bid. Fast forward 3 hours and as they were finishing up Frank said he had to hurry because they had a job at 4:30, what?? Now all of a sudden they had somewhere else to be and I noticed them getting a little sloppy. They were about to leave when I noticed they left my sons bed. I politely asked him to load up the bed and he said ok. They loaded up the frame and forgot to load the bed. Fast forward another couple of hours. We are at the new house, Frank tells me he forgot the bed. He's apologetic and asks me if I'm going back to the house. I reminded him that the first things on the list to move were the beds because we were sleeping in the new house tonight. I wasnt going to drive 100 + miles and leave my wife to unpack the new house alone. Frank even asks me if I know anyone that can get it moved. Really?? I end up receiving a call from Barry, the owner getting aggressive with me. Lol. The fact that this guy calls me up, getting aggressive because his son forgot one of the most important items and then wants to charge me mileage and time to bring it where it should've been delivered. Even telling me to have my son sleep on the couch, what?? What an ass. Now keep in mind, I have my own business and am running it remotely dealing with an issue as this is happening. I didnt have time to now deal with the whiny little Barry not taking ownership of his companies mistake. He even says(aggressively), get this " So I take it you wanna call the whole thing off since we arent bringing the bed" Wow, so half of my stuff is in their trailer and now he wants me to cower? This guy, really. I told him to forget the bed so they could finish and get off my property. By that point I was done with these guys. It involved a lot of dismantling desks and table legs. ... High patience job. They pay very good attention to caring for furniture and protecting it.
