Excellent experience! My "little" three bedroom condo (app. 2600 sq ft) in North Hollywood, packed more equipment, artwork and painting than most human should ever own. I had less than week to move in my new house in Oxnard and a zero assistance, so, saying the truth, I was screwed. I called Movers of Simi Valley as recommended and asked about someone come out to survey my place, so I could get a more accurate estimate of cost. Every other moving company I'd dealt with earlier was either late or didn't call at all until they were on the way. Mitch arrived at exactly the time scheduled! It's very valuable quality. We did a walk through, Mitch was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained me how exactly they will work with my things, told about packing materials they use, more about their company and movers. He had an estimate that afternoon. Four Simi Movers came exactly on time, to the minute, the day they supposed to show up. I guess it was Thursday. They gave me the contract and we did a walk through to assess what was going and what was staying. They grabbed boxes, blankets and started packing. Guys worked very hard. They moved like lightening with heavy furniture, paintings and other stuff. When you have a professionals your things are actually packed with the intention of arriving safely, so it happened. I hired them for the 34 miles distance moving from Simi Valley to Glendale couple weeks ago. Had no time to write my review earlier. They are professional and hard working crew, I had great experience, would definitely recommend to my friends. I was moving from a 2 bedroom apartment to a pretty spacious 2 bedroom house. They first asked me clarifying questions regarding my furniture, things and moving locations, next they told me the quote. The price included their truck, three movers, gas, mileage from pick up to drop-off location, blankets, unlimited tape, shrinking wrap and free wardrobe boxes and I also ordered some protection paper to cover up the carpets. They called me before hand to make a confirmation and the next day movers arrived to my place just in-time. Very convenient and well organized. Valera, Ruslan and Yuriy worked very fast and accurate. They took great care of my delicate furnitures, disassembled, assembled beds and sofa. I also had a lot of fragile things and everything was safe when I checked it. Very hardworking team and professional management. I had great experience and pretty good offer for my 2bd move. They quoted me a fair price, much lower than anyone else and didn't charge for the back and forth time. First of all I'm grateful to the office staff, girls provided me with all necessary information via the phone, so It was easy to make a decision whom I'll move with. Next the movers team came on-time, they had everything prepared for work, tapes, blankets, some sort of covers and boxes. There was no wasting of time, guys were very quick, careful and qualified. Tony the head of the squad answered all my questions and described the working process and I must say I'm usually very meticulous about such things. Awesome ! We were interested in a long distance move with not to exceed price. So, we called to at least five companies and only Movers of Simi Valley were extremely polite to send us their estimator literally the next day. Just to be on a safe side, we provided them with a complete list of large items that needed to be moved. Ray was able to calculate exactly how much of cu. ft. of space we will need and how much will be the final $. Let me say its not cheap to move, but this what we expected. Beside, we did learn our lesson a while ago, " you get what you pay for". We decided to go with them and we are very satisfied with this company's performance. Max and Ramond moved my office from Tapo street to Yosemite Avenue and since it wasn't too far they did not charge me a double drive time. However, they did charge me for a boxes and protecting my drafting table. I requested a special treatment of my computers and 3d printer and they did a good job doing so. We had tons of sample material and library which I requested to be put in a wardrobe boxes, since I didn't have any clothing to move and they provided two wardrobe boxes free of charge. That way I saved a bit on the packing material. I can't believe the truck was almost full :-o Thank you for your work and for understanding and being able to carry out all my requests.
