I needed 2 movers and a truck, moving my stuff from a storage unit to a studio apartment. The two movers that came were Sultan and Erlan, and they were phenomenal. They arrived 15 minutes before the start time to check out the unit and move the truck into a good location, so that when time officially started, they were ready to start moving immediately. All my stuff were packed already, but they had an abundant supply of ratchet straps, cling wrap, tape, blankets and everything else you need. They were extremely efficient, first moving everything out from the storage unit into the hallway, then into the elevator, minimizing the number of trips we needed to do. We managed to get everything out and loaded from my mid-sized storage unit in just an hour. Their truck loading technique was also great, and it's clear that they strategized ahead of time. All irregular pieces were put into their wardrobe cardboard boxes, boxes were stacked neatly first, then my mattress was pressed against the boxes and strapped down. All other loose items were strapped down too. After driving to my apartment, nothing came loose or rattled in the truck. We then headed over to my apartment, and again, they unloaded stuff into my apartment very fast. I had a few irregular pieces like table legs and they took great care not to bump it anywhere. Once everything was in my apartment, they helped unload their wardrobe boxes and move things where I needed. In the beginning, I was excited to work with this company. I booked with Triple Line Moving strictly based on cost. Sadly, their service was really poor. I guess you get what you pay for. I needed a service that would not cost $10K and up. I sent them a detailed inventory list with photos and yet they were clueless about what was to be packed and moved. Triple Line Moving double-booked themselves causing a huge issue. We wanted to be packed up and picked up on 8/5 and delivered to our new home out of state on 8/6. Because of their double-booking and lack of prep they needed to do everything on 8/5. They packed up our house and was on the road at 3:20pm. The movers did not arrive to our new home until 11pm. This was after starting at 6am. To say this was a long day is an understatement. The next day was worse. 2 Movers stayed back to finish unloading and yet they refused to move our items to the 2nd floor as promised. Boxes were thrown and items were broken. Dirty looks were given and even a change in final payment was attempted by one of the employees. Basically, we got screwed over because this company was unprepared and unwilling to do the job they took. Avoid this company if you want a good move. read more
