What a lovely restaurant .... We sat at the bar last night and greeted and served by lovely and friendly bartenders . Let me tell you they know how to make cocktails and how to host customers. Owner was a nice gentleman and he visited us and asked us how was everything. Delicious food very representable dishes yummy dessert

On May 25th, 2025, I hosted my sisters Bridal Shower at Prominence. To say it was incredible is an understatement. The atmosphere, food, service and drinks were just amazing. I had the sangria and OMG was it FABULOUS. The chicken francaise was moist, the penne Ala vodka was the best on the mtn top and the family style appetizers were delicious. We had rice balls, eggplant rollitini, a smoked meats and cheese platter and meatballs. We definitely did not leave hungry. Thank you to the Prominence crew for making my sisters special day as perfect as ever.

Good service, very friendly staff. The food from eggplant rollatini, caesar salads, calamari and complimentary zucchini straws were excellent. The portions for the pasta dishes were so generous! This was excellent Italian food and I'm from NYC! They were kind enough to let us bring a cake in for a birthday we were celebrating. Highly recommended!

Another amazing meal! Called while we were en route and was able to get a reservation! Our waiter was fabulous, splitting an adult size salmon entree for our children. I had the mussels in white wine sauce and it was delicious! He could sense that my kids were tired and he made sure we were in and out in an hour. The owner Don stopped by the table to see how we liked our meal. Wonderful restaurant and cannot wait to come back!

The hostess was so kind, she kept wishing my mom a happy birthday and checking in on us throughout the meal. Our server seemed a little overwhelmed, but to be fair we were a party of 9. Near the end of our meal he seemed to recruit help from a couple other servers. The food was incredible! I of course had to get the penne vodka pasta. I was a bit bummed when they wouldn't let me add a protein to it, but it was still delish. Since it was the holiday season, I had to try the peppermint chocolate martini. I was worried it would be too chocolatey but it was perfectly balanced with a peppermint rim!

We were not disappointed. We were seated promptly by our lovely hostess, and Shaun immediately came over to recite specials and to take our orders. He was attentive and we knew we were in good hands! We started with the Dr. Fox Cocktail: Angostura bitters, Bulleit Rye, Apple Liqueur, Dry Curacao, and Sweet Vermouth, which was perfect. It was accompanied by a hummus trio to spread on the bread. There was also a delicious foccacio. Next we were served a perfect salad, delicately dressed, and what made the salad so delightful was that the lettuce was torn into manageable pieces. A pet peeve of mine is large lettuce leaves that are difficult to wrangle, and this was not the case here. There were also tiny bits of cauliflower that gave the salad a nice texture and crunch.  I had the Stuffed Artichoke and my husband had Shrimp Gamberi on an Arugula salad. Both were substantial and beautifully seasoned. We had two glasses of an Argentine Tomero Malbec. It was a generous pour. For the main course, I had Polla al Limone (Lemon Chicken) over spinach. A simple dish done well. My husband had the Halibut special, a classic Mediterranean baked halibut with tomatoes, capers, and olives. So good that he finished it all...a rarity for him. (The halibut was pricey and it would be appreciated if the price was mentioned when the specials were gone over. Perhaps we should have asked.) We finished with a Sorbetto al Lampone, a tart raspberry sorbet in a dark chocolate shell and sliced.  And as we left, our sweet hostess brought over Lucianno, the most adorable puppy, to send us off with puppy kisses! We definitely will be back...especially for the wild boar ragu over pappadelles. One nitpicking observation. The entrance to the restaurant was a tad shabby. We mistook it for the service entrance. It needs to be spruced up to match the superb food inside!

Ima keep ranting about this part of New York. This area really don't got a lot of good flavor. And…read morewhat I mean by that, like the cooking just ain't cooking for most of these spots. And idk what it is, it could be just the local folks don't got that much flavor in their taste buds and they the anti-City folk type so most of the businesses just lack in that field. With that said... this was a pretty decent Italian spot I will say WITH that consideration in mind. I did have the ravioli with slow cooked carne inside and that was delicious. My wife got the lasagna and... it was iiiitte. Family next to us were raving about it and like they were nice and we were being polite. But like let's be real here - it tasted like Stouffer's. Not that it's a knock, but at that point, you paying for the atmosphere. Which I will say the indoors is nice. You can have a nice date night or family outing here. There's a bar and plenty of parking. The service was on point and very accommodating with our new born. Who we were chopping it up with our waiter, and found out the owner's name is also the same as our kid so that was fun talking with them on. The garlic bread - idk if it's supposed to come cold, but it had like tomato sauce on it, it was like the complimentary bread with some extra shit on it. But I wasn't feeling that, but my inner Italian side just kept dipping it in my red, and it was all good. I'm glad we came here but probably won't be back if given the chance. But we looked around, and it seemed like to be the only viable Italian restaurant in the area so, if given under the same conditions, we would be back lol. I just went back and forth there like 3 times. Is that non-Ai enough of a review for you Yelp? After they flagged me for actually structuring and editing my reviews like in old school English class. Now yelp is promoting "Yelp Assistant" even though it's Ai. Gtfo here lmao

We then shared the flat iron steak, which was cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed a few glasses of a Tuscan blend, which was just the thing to complement our meal. All in all, it was the perfect Saturday date night dinner, in a cozy, romantic setting. We trudged through the snow, back to our hotel, happy and full. We'll definitely return.

Although our server was nice, she was often slow and not readily available. She and other runners/servers did not bring many things we ordered/asked for. 1 friend never got his side of pasta for his entire meal, another did not get his glass of wine when others who ordered at the same time as him got theirs. My girlfriend had to ask 3 times for a steak knife and we were constantly begging for basic items like drinks and ketchup. The predatory billing practices here are shocking: 20% Automatic Gratuity: ok, this is not unusual for large groups in many resistant, but clearly explained why the staff felt no need to actually serve and take care of us. 10% "Living Wage Fee": A mandatory tax on the customer because the owner refuses to pay their staff properly! Never experienced this fee firsthand only saw it online. An absolute joke to expect us to give an extra 10% to your staff because you're not paying a reasonable salary! $30 Cake Slicing Fee: We brought a birthday cake. They stored it and brought it out, but we ended up taking it home without them ever touching or slicing it. They still had the nerve to charge us $30 just for the "privilege" of having it in the building. When we spoke to the manager about the 10% surcharge, he acted like we were the problem and talked about how they are trying to make a living. We were all asking ourselves why he's not paying them a fair salary?? why is it our responsibility to pay even more, particularly for poor service! The food is fair at best and wildly overpriced. We got a blackberry lemonade & margarita - the lemonade was virtually tasteless and was like lightly flavored sparkling water, definitely not worth the $10. The margarita was also pretty weak for the steep price. Probably my favorite thing from the night, the meatballs (2) were especially tasty. Again, sauce here was a bit too thin. - Eggplant Parm had a beautiful coat of melty cheese but the eggplants themselves left much to be desired. Instead of being coated and fried, they almost felt boiled? Not sure how to explain it, but I would try something else. The service was good, nothing to write home about, but not bad overall. I'd probably check out another restaurant before heading back here.
