Stopped here for dinner during a quick weekend trip to Cooperstown. Stayed at the Hampton, so it's just a few minutes down the road. We ordered drinks which came out with a bit of bread and olive oil/balsamic for dipping. The homemade gnocchi is excellent, and the pesto cream sauce is wasn't too heavy. Highly recommend adding the burrata. My sister had the carbonara - she said it was good. The portions here are smaller than other places - you may not have much or any leftovers. Not a problem for us since we're traveling and don't have a place to keep leftovers, but just something to note if you're used to the giant portions you get at most pasta places. On a Saturday night, it was very loud inside so we opted to sit on the patio. It was still pretty loud out there, but we could still easily have a conversation. The patio is nice! Looks like for cooler months there are a bunch of heaters set up to keep it cozy. If you just wanted drinks, I also really liked the fire pits and chairs set up out front. Nice hang out spot.

Great restaurant if the side of the road. Great seating area out front to enjoy some cocktails by a few fire pits. We got sat outside in a corner table. Our waitress was great and punctual. Our food came out quick and all was good. The bruschetta was delicious, the tomatoes had great flavor. The seafood risotto was delicious as well. Overall great experience.

Went for a quick dinner on a Sunday, didn't have any issues getting a table. No wait time. Our server was really nice and attentive. The patio was a loved spot to sit. Not too loud out there either. The bruschetta was excellent! Flavor profile was perfectly balanced. The drinks we ordered were served with pita and olive oil. I had the rigatoni which was perfectly al dente. Would definitely recommend coming for dinner.

Stopped in after our day exploring Cooperstown and was pleasantly surprised. From the pita chips with olive oil and balsamic placed on the table to our dishes. I got the clams and spaghetti in a white wine sauce that was amazing and my husband had the lasagna and he loved it. We both would have licked the plates clean but t there was no Italian bread to do that. Desert I had the vanilla ice cream with expresso which was so good but I was so full I couldn't finish it. Such a great find if we ever go back to Cooperstown we will for sure go back. Oh and the place was beautiful inside and out.

Very authentic and tasty. I loved the linguine vongole there. Kids steak was great. Had it four times on our Cooperstown trip. Great ambience, delicious food, and the place is huge and can accommodate large parties!

Absolutely amazing. I've been to this place so many times and continue to crave it even when we are out of Cooperstown. Excellent food and drink across-the-board. Best lemon drop martinis.

Food and service are outstanding at this traditional Italian restaurant. Always nice to have a reliable eatery in a small town.

With that being said we ordered a large chicken bacon ranch pizza and it was delicious. The service was excellent and friendly. Not a big shocker but this pizza place has baseball theme artwork/ phrases on the walls. All in all it was a great lunch.

MASSIVE disappointment. We won't come back. Their crust now is 1/3 the pizza. Too doughy, and thus not true NY pizza. Their pizza sauce is also now really bland. I ate a single slice and then said "meh, not worth eating more calories here because this pizza sucks". And every time before, I ate at least 4 slices of a large pizza. This visit almost ruined our trip to Cooperstown. It had been such an expected highlight, but now this is a crappy version of what it used to be under former management. Luckily we found another Cooperstown restaurant that satisfied us, or we wouldn't eat in town anymore. Sal's: your founder would be so sad to see what you've become. PS a full pizza charges $2.50 a slice. Your slices are $4.49. So you're ripping off your customer base. Raping your customers financially is not how you run a business.

Our server was Jay and he was very accommodating. Once he found out it was our Dad's birthday, he asked his name and each time he came to the table to check on us (which was often), he made sure to make a big deal out of our Dad's special day. Let's get to the food. We had calamari as a starter - cooked perfectly but a little over-seasoned. Still good. The house salad sweet red pepper vinaigrette was SO good I'm going to try to recreate it at home. Caesar salads were also good. My husband and I ordered the Duck Cassis and it was excellent. The broccoli and zucchini that were served with the duck were underwhelming (zero seasoning) but the mashed potatoes were delicious. My Dad ordered the filet/shrimp special and really enjoyed it. Everyone loved their meals. Chicken parm with vodka sauce, Haddock Francais, Roman Caesar salad, Veal Sorrentino, and a couple of pasta dishes. One with gluten free pasta that was really enjoyed. We also ordered the house Tuscan - Montepulciano, the house white, and some cocktails that were all very good. We were too full to order dessert but Jay brought out a chocolate mousse with a candle and we all sang happy birthday to Dad. Overall, very impressive meal. It's a hike from where we live, but next time we're visiting our family in the area, we'll definitely make the trip back.
