They were not just friendly, but made us feel like locals. This bar is open the latest in town and the last couple of hours it's filled with locals coming in after work and other responsibilities. The ladies insured we were comfortable and the patrons were respectful as well. The placer had a great vibe, and the majority of the clientele was inclusive and friendly. I hope we have an excuse to come back. It was really nice to feel like locals so far away from home.

(Most of the tables are past the entry way and bar area). There was a family group, a few couples and a group of guys playing darts off to the side. I sat there for more than five minutes before I was even acknowledged. I know this because I could see the Guinness Countdown to St Patrick's Day (down to the second) from my seat. There were 3 girls behind the bar but one seemed to be doing most of the bar work. As I put on my jacket to leave, I finally had the attention of one of the girls so I decided to take my chances and stick with my dinner plan. She got me a menu and asked for my drink order. There weren't any hard ciders on tap but they did have canned Awestruck (local). I noticed the fried pickle appetizer and asked her about it. She told me they were spears and very popular. I decided to take her recommendation and ordered them, along with a Cooley's Handmade Burger with sautéed mushrooms and swiss cheese. My pickle fries came out first since they were an app and I can tell you two things about them...the portion was huge and they were absolutely the best I've ever had! Not long afterward, my burger arrived and that was really tasty as well. I opted to bring the rest of my pickles home and I can tell you that even the next day, with the help of the air fryer, they were still tasting great! I am so glad I stayed!

And instead of serving it medium as I requested, it came out more of a medium rare. My husband had the fish tacos which were ok. Typical fish taco but the fish could have used a touch more seasoning. For dessert we had the almond cake (delicious) and pistachio cheesecake (also delicious). I would like to go back to try some of the other things on their menu that I hope will be more flavorful than what we had this 1st time around.
