I needed to get my office rekeyed and reached out to Oshri after getting a ridiculous quote from a different locksmith. He was extremely helpful, professional, and quick to respond to my inquiry. His pricing is very fair and he seems dedicated to providing customers with top tier service. He is the only locksmith I trust in the Bay Area. I will be contacting him for access control and security needs in the future as well. read more

Professional. Good communicators. Recommend anytime. Knowledgeable. Nice and friendly.

We needed an electric gate strike plate replaced. Oshri provided excellent communication, arrived on time, and preformed excellent quality work. He immediately understood how our unusual entry system worked and spent the time to make sure the new parts fit perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to call him for any needs in the future. A joy to work with. read more

Oshri is a very skilled locksmith. His range of abilities to cover all kinds of lock and security issues is impressive.

Great customer service and quality of work. Great communication and reliable. Highly recommended.

Did great work and great communication. Was able to swing by to install a deadbolt. Results were good, totally satisfied.

The nicest and most competent locksmith on the peninsula. The day before a flight to England and I couldn't find the key to the lockbox where I stored my passport. Not a big deal, I thought. But ten phone calls later, I was left with the option to a) pay 240 dollars for a mobile locksmith b) pay 75 dollars for someone to try, with no promise it would work, or c) go to England next year instead. Most of them said that it couldn't be picked because it was a double sided key, so nothing could be done. Then I called Oshi. He asked for a pic of the safe (pardon the pun), invited me to come to him to save me mobile money, and had that %#*£€# thing open in about 5 minutes. Gave me an amazing price for the job, too. Super nice and competent, HIGHLY recommend!!! If it wasn't for Oshi, I wouldn't be on this amazing trip in Ireland. Thank you!!! read more

My boyfriend and I got locked out of our car because we left the car keys in the truck. I was able to find this location through Yelp. With such good reviews, we decided to give it a try. We were super worried we wouldn't be able to get back in the car because it's a 2010 Scion TC. However, Oshri and his partner didn't let us down. They used different methods and explained to us what they were doing. They could see that we were stressed, but Oshri kept reassuring us that he will be able to retrieve the keys in the trunk. It took less than a half an hour for them to get the car door to open then the trunk to pop up. It was really neat to see the various of locksmith methods they used on the car. Oshri and his partner we're friendly, positive, and reassuring. He gave us an invoice so we can get an reimbursement from our car insurance company. A few weeks after the incident, I wasn't able to get the reimbursement due to the fact that I lost the invoice that Oshri gave me. So, I texted Oshri to ask if he was able to give me another copy or send me a newer version via email. Without hesitation, Oshri provide me a new invoice via email so I could get the reimbursement from the car company. I thought this was a very kind gesture since he wasn't obligated to do it. My boyfriend and I would definitely recommend them to locals that need a lock smith. read more

I had Oshri come out on two different occasions, and both times I was extremely pleased. He was punctual and clearly outlined my options. His humbleness and honesty are a rare quality today. In my case the door lock was getting almost impossible to turn. Rather than just suggesting a new lock, he advised that we lubricate the existing lock first. Door still didn't open as smoothly. Next, we checked alignment decided we need to provide more room. After he shaved down the opening in the door frame to provide more room, the lock worked like new. Lastly, he offered to tweak the spring to get the door closing better - something that I didn't think about improving. The time went by quickly, and I saved money by not needing to replace the lock - along with hassle of duplicating keys. I can't see myself going to anyone else in the future. read more

Wow! Had to replace 11 locks on my interior doors and used Yelp to take 3 estimates. Osh was the only one who showed up on time and sent the estimate in 2 days. He was very informative and knowledgeable. The work took a few hours and on the way out he fixed our main door lock for FREE! Will definitely call him again. read more

Oshri started off as a nice guy. Be careful of the quality of product he uses. Doing the work is not the problem, but will the work last? Will he stand behind his work/products? I had a deadbolt installed and in 4 years it started to rust. He was the expert, never said anything about upgrading so it would not rust due to the weather. I took his word and just used what he offered. A deadlock should not fall apart/rust in 4 years. Cheap quality products! After some fussing, he was going to come over and make it right. I appreciate the effort. Then I get a call and he is arguing with me. Now I'm wasting my evening. Fail on the customer service too. The work might be done with no problems, but if you have a problem after, will he stand behind his work. My experience...NO. Check the quality of the product and not just the work. What is he going to do, but lie(I seen the post) to protect his business. When you do under handed work...it will catch up with you. That is all I have to say to you... read more

Oshri is the best! Prompt, very honest, hard-working, trustworthy, and swift. He came prepared with all the tools, machines and gear needed to complete the job on the 1st visit (fixing 3 locks and replacing 1 exterior door hardware w/ a locking version), and reasonable for the very high quality of work he does!! One of the locks he fixed, which my building mates and I all assumed would have to be replaced, was able to be made serviceable with some WD-40! Very honest person. So for sure, when we need a locksmith again, Oshri will be The Man. He's truly a gem in San Francisco, and I'm so happy we've found him! read more

Efficient, knowledgeable, professional, accommodating, friendly, affordable, respectful; a wonderful experience in a bad situation.

My hide a key fell off of my car and I was left with only one key to my car. Because of the meds I take to heal my cancer, my memory is not the best and I lock myself out of my car weekly. I was in a panic not having an extra set of keys on my car. I went to Lowe's to have one made. They charged me 80$ and said it was much cheaper than dealer. The key they cut didn't work, they said I needed a chipped key and had to go to a dealer or locksmith. My finances are tight so I decided to try locksmith first. Pro Master had so many great reviews, I dialed him first. I called and Oshri picked up the phone right away. I told him my dilemma. He assured me he could take care of me. He offered to make it that night if I came to him. I explained I had work until 8pm. He said no problem, to come by after. I took him up on his offer because I was nervous I would lose my only key. He explained how he didn't do many keys anymore because he is so busy with security jobs etc. My Toyota key was tricky but it didn't phase him. I could see the pride and passion he has for his work. It took a bit longer than expected as my key was very tricky. He kept his cool, and nailed it. He was professional, kind and efficient. If you need any kind of locksmith work, key's cut or security needs, I can not recommend Oshri at ProMaster Locksmith enough. His work ethic, skills and kindness are a breath of fresh air these days. I highly recommend him. read more

My business was under huge scrutiny after a break in. Not only were material things taken but my sense of security was gone after the burglars came in. I immediately wanted to invest in the BEST possible security for myself/ my customers / my business..... and Promaster Locksmith -Oshri helped me beyond words in this Yelp review can ever express! HE IS TRULY THE BEST IN THE BAY. Go to him ---- no questions asked. He responded to me the quickest out of all the locksmiths, and stayed up until the late hours because he knew I did not want to have another night without a magnetic lock installed in my business. I did not have to wait for him to order parts AND he made the maglock work for my tricky door/business set up. He never changed up the prices even when it took a little longer than he expected. He was friendly and easy to work with, and he comes highly recommended from me. Thank you again Oshri! read more

I chose ProMaster based on a recommendation from a co-worker, who had recently had an entry lock replaced. Oshri came to our house twice, once to evaluate our door so we could figure out which replacement entry lock we would need to buy to fit it, and the second time to install the lock once it arrived. He was super prompt in responding to us, showed up right on time, helped us with everything we needed to know to choose the new lock, and did a beautiful and efficient job with the installation. He's also just a very nice guy who was great to work with, and was generally available for appointments within a couple of days. I uploaded some photos to show his excellent work. Osh was amazing! He arrived within 30 minutes after my call. He is honest, expert at what he does and dedicated to doing a good job. He struggled with my bedroom door for half an hour but would not give up. He was patient and wanted to make sure that the door or the lock was not damaged. He also made keys for the lock so that I would not have to call a locksmith again. Absolutely the best service in the area. I would highly recommend Osh!!! He's the best!! read more

(writing this on behalf of my company, Density Inc. www.density.io) 6 stars!! Osh is one of a kind, there's no other way to describe his work ethic and results. We first met him after our office in Union Square was burglarized, he showed up immediately and worked late into the night changing ALL of our locks, reinforcing the doorways that were breached, making tons of keys for us, and even installing fresh deadbolts and strike plates for redundant protection; it felt like a fortress when he was done! The experience was so good that we have hired him back numerous times to do everything from install security cameras to dramatically upgrade our IT infrastructure. He's incredible to work with -- I personally was climbing on ladders with him to assist -- and ultra professional and experienced (I learned a lot; he's a great teacher). It feels like there isn't anything Osh can't do and even after working with us for over 10hrs in a row, no complaints! After literally spending thousands of dollars with ProMaster Locksmith, I can safely say we got our money's worth and will continue to hire Osh for future projects. Thanks again Osh! -Garrett VP of Ops Density Inc. read more

I am so pleased with this service, i cannot express enough. Oshri was so pleasant from the moment he answered the phone to the time he arrived. I was not there to let him in and i had to use a lock box. He was so independent and reliable, truly honest. He checked the lines of my intercom and it turned out that there was not much to fix. What an honest technician. He gave some suggestions if i want to upgrade but not pushy by all means. Just a straight forward friendly fellow pleasant to work with. Don't hesitate on any job too small or big. He has done my other friend's jobs and he came highly recommended. Oshri is our community locksmith. The first go to man. Has been the only one you need. He even left an instructional video for me for my record. So sweet. read more

Osh was AWESOME! Lost our keys to our car and went on Yelp to look for a locksmith and first one I looked at was the only! Lol. Read the reviews and pretty much made a decision and called! Osh answered right away, explained to him my situation and was right over! When he arrived, he shook our hand and was very nice. The whole experience with him cutting our key, he was joyful and just upbeat, he worked fast and interacted with us, which made the experience pleasant. In no time everything was done. Awesome work! Awesome price! Definitely going to call Osh again, if ever need keys! If you're looking, look no further! Osh is the guy! read more

I am SO glad I went with Oshri in my re keying and changing of locks. He was #1- QUICK TO RESPOND. and #2- On time! To... the MINUTE! He arrived at 1230pm ON THE DOT for my 1230-1330pm slot. I cannot express how great his being on the early end of the time slot was for me. I would not have faulted him for coming any later, as a time frame is a time frame... but, it just shows he really cares for his customers!! He explained not only in detail before, but also during and after on what he was doing. His price quotes are very true to his actual prices, and you can tell he does not try in any way to raise prices. In fact, he is the type of business man to save you money where he can. We were lucky to find Oshri, and we recommend him whole heartedly. Thank you, Oshri! read more

Osh(I think that's his name) is very honest and fast! I messaged him through Yelp with a brief explanation of losing my car keys and he was able to give me the BEST quote right away. He was able to fit me into his schedule and came the same day and NO EXTRA CHARGE since it was after 6PM. I called other lock smith and they were going to charge me an extra $100 for services after 2pm and another $100 for driving out to my location. So I saved over $200. He also gave ME a $5 tip back for paying cash. What more can I say!!!!! I'd give more stars if possible. Thanks so much!!! Called Oshri in a panic because our front door handle was stuck and it made it impossible to leave (you could only open from the inside - luckily my husband was home when this happened so I wasn't stuck outside for too long). I sent pictures and asked for a quote and he called back saying "no need! Here's how you easily fix it" (a button had been pushed it causing this issue) So no cost, no hefty fees just helpful advice on how to easily fix it myself. I hardly write Yelp reviews but I need to let you know that Oshri is a LEGEND. He was very friendly, punctual and worked efficiently. Helped me rekey 2 locks, as well as install new keyless deadbolt/latch which I purchased myself. My main door's latch holes were too small for my keyless deadbolt and Oshri was so kind to bore a bigger hole in the door and made sure the strike alignment was perfect - without charging me extra! He is the epitome of over delivering and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended and trusted. Would hire his services again without a doubt! read more

I don't write reviews often slash ever. Osh was amazing, though. He was on-time, super friendly, had a sense of urgency (which is so appreciated when you're dealing with an after-hours home lock-out), checked my ID to make sure I lived where I'd claimed and actually checked it against my unit number (I've had others not do this and its sketch), asked if I wanted an extra set of keys before he left (seriously, I mean, yeah, of course, thank you... but for real you don't just wanna get home? rad), texted me after he'd left because I'd given him an incorrect email address and he wanted to make sure I got the receipt (huh... that doesn't happen. where am I?) and then had the audacity to thank me. Oh, and dude showed up in, like, 18 minutes after I'd called. One. Eight. Like, a super soft one eight, too. You're my new hero, Osh. Thank you. read more
