They were not too salty or too oily like typical fried food which is was a present surprise. The sauce served with them was fresh and had a natural taste. (You can only order via phone, there is no online ordering option on their website.) We stuck with no frills. A large cheese and large pepperoni, along with the garlic bread and Sicilian garlic bread. We had a party of seven ravenous ladies and we could not finish! Definitely has a lot of bang per buck. The crust was thin, it wasn't overly greasy and I did really, really enjoy the marinara. I'd recommend Pietro's Pizza if you're staying in Bay View in Milwaukee!

First and foremost, their Chicago style pizza is....CHICAGO STYLE PIZZA! I don't know why this is so hard, but in spite of the presence of so many good pizza joints in the Milwaukee area, none serve authentic Chicago style pizza. Some claim to, and that's like giving a rubber bone to a starving dog. Lou Malnati's is authentic Chicago style pizza in the Chicago area, but it hasn't yet made a successful transition to the Milwaukee area, the Malnatis here don't have the neighborly Chicago style service and they too often don't cook the pizza long enough. I don't know if there are any Pizzeria Uno or Dues left but they stopped being authentic Chicago style pizza after they were sold to some national chain. Giordano's in Wisconsin is as good as in Chicago (a proper Chicago style uses ONLY the best Wisconsin cheese) but I don't know that Kenosha counts as "the Milwaukee Area." Rosati's is authentic Chicago style, but it's not as good as Travino's. This is all my personal opinion, of course, even in Chicago there is a big variety of Chicago style pizza. However I did grow up in Chicago, NOT Schaumberg, NOT Des Plaines, NOT Naperville, NOT Brookfield. They also have thin crust (which looks pretty good), and deep dish (which takes longer). I ask a big and important favor for YELPers who review after me. Please don't judge any pizza place by the delivery from third party "services." The restaurant has no control over them. She might have earned the fifth star when she liked my cat t-shirt (I'm a crazy cat lady, my spouse is not), she might have earned the fifth star when I declined the plastic straw and she right away agreed it would be better for the oceans. Their website says they sell slices, and I called to confirm. The employee over the phone told me they do sell slices, and gave no further information. After a 10 minute drive to get there, I walk in and don't see any cheese slices. I asked how long I would have to wait, and they told me they don't carry cheese slices. The only slices they carry have pork on them. What a waste of time. I don't eat pork, and I know I'm not the only one. I've never heard of a pizza place having no option for just cheese. I get that the restaurant can choose to run their business however they want, but there should be a disclaimer that they don't carry cheese before people waste their time coming in.

A 14" with extra cheese, pepperoni, and sausage. I'm pregnant so I'm very picky about food at the moment and the 2 slices I had really hit the spot. Everything arrived hot, and even our two liter was cold (and many places will send you a hot soda they keep on a shelf, so that said a lot to my family lol.) Thanks so much.
