Got my nails done gel shellac manicure and my nail tech didn't even get into the corners of my nails they're just sloppily done. I didn't even notice until he was done, he finished my nails and disappeared into the back room for a break. I could do better myself at home.

I still stand by my last review for the girl I went to. But I feel like it just depends on when you go and who you get. I had to get an acrylic removal and I know it's not a money maker for them but the gal didn't care at all about the shape of the nails matching on either side. I feel like they don't care in how they make money because people just filter in and out anyway. But I do like one of the techs there.

I have been seeing Young for about a year and a half to two years, and I have never been disappointed! I always get so many compliments, and i appreciate the attention to detail young puts in to make them perfect. Even when i had to get short nails for nursing school, he still made them gorgeous! Compared to other salons, they are very affordable and still come out so beautiful. This is the set he did today which i am obsessed with

I went in for a dip fill. I wanted the same color, same shape, same length. I told my tech that one of my nails was broken and that it was super painful, showed her the nail and where it was cracked. She tells me she's going to remove my nails and do a fresh set. A few minutes later she's drilling my broken nail as if I hadn't just told her that it was killing me. Then she roughly wrapped it in acetone and foil which made me jerk and I reminded her, for the fourth time, that nail is broken and that it's painful. She soaked my nails in acetone, left my old tips on, then dipped my nails in acrylic powder. It was obvious that she kept messing up, my nails were looking so chunky and lumpy. She kept using her finger to tap / squeeze / fill spots. Every other salon I've gone to for a dip fill hasn't ever soaked my nails in acetone or used acrylic powder, for a fill. After the acrylic powder disaster, she started the color dip. Then the top coat. She carelessly filed my nails for the 1,000th time AFTER applying the top coat. She didn't tell me to wash my hands until she was completely finished. I'm not a nail tech, I was trying to trust the process since everyone has their own style. Obviously hoping the end result would be good. I wasn't able to get a good look at my nails until I was in my car. God, I regret giving her the benefit of the doubt because I wasted $65. I still tipped her $10 because that's who I am but I won't be back. My nails are terrible, it's very disappointing. Hands down the worst nails I've had. I wish I would've gotten her name / checked to see if her license was on display. Have a feeling she isn't licensed.

I want to start out by saying I'm a firm believer in reviews. I am from out of state and we had a "girls day" and I am SO HAPPY I stumbled upon this place. Hai the manager was so kind from taking the appointment to making sure our mimosas stayed full! Young Forever did my pedicure and he is THE BEST! I've had many pedicures but this was by far the best one yet. He really took his time and all of us ladies left feeling so pampered and with great looking toes. If you're in the area or are even local, make sure you go to this nail salon!

The one star is for the wonderful ladies who worked on our pedicures. I initially set up the appointment for the deluxe 40 minute through their website which was on yelp. Once we checked in, I reiterated to the man at the front desk what we wanted. We were assigned nail techs, and were seated. Our session went on and the techs asked again, what pedicures we would like? I answered and repeated what I said to the front desk. The nail techs worked hard, and efficiently. Thus I am giving them the star. We tipped, and went to pay at the front. The man at the register (who also was the person we checked in with) up charged $20.00 dollars to our bill. I wasn't going to embarrass him in front of his nail techs or customers. I went ahead and took that as a sign to never patronize this business again. I hope he realizes "you never get a second chance to make a good impression!" I honestly hope that he gave $10.00 each to the nail techs who serviced us as extra. That's wishful thinking on my part.

Not sure the name of the lady that did my nails but she was so messy, didn't put enough coats, didn't do the shape I asked for, and cut my nails shorter than what I asked. The salon is clean and the man at the front is nice, but not worth paying money when I could do a better job at home.

Tina is absolutely amazing! I have been coming to this shop for a few years. Before that, I was struggling to find a place with good service, and great product. This is your place. But remember, they get busy. Make an appointment. Or call ahead. It's worth it for sure! THANKS TINA!!! Again, was here today. I have lived in the area for almost 4 years. There are about 6 nail salons in a 2 mile radius. I have been to all of them. Progress is definately above the rest. Again, make an appointment. It's common courtesy. I don't like to post negative reviews, but I feel that this one is warranted. I went in for a shellack manicure this afternoon and was promptly seated with Yao (spelling?). He seemed to rush through my manicure, filed my nails super thin, and did not allow my nails to cure long enough in the special light. Tonight, while making dinner, my polish just slid off my nail. I've never EVER had a shellack manicure come off the same day. I'm not pleased and most likely won't return. read more

The nail tech didn't cut my cuticles or get prior nail polish off of the nail. I requested that the polish cover more of the nail (closer to the cuticle) and was ignored so now the nails look grown out after just getting them done. Nails were filed very quickly and were not shaped. Felt like they were in a rush to get me in and out. read more

Well I just timed my pedicure she did it for 13 MINUTED!!! What in the heck! This is absolutely crazy! I could have done a better job at home. Let alone I had to ask her to re scrub them since she did it for maybe two seconds! What are we paying for exactly? The polish and water? read more

The ladies who did our manicure were wonderful. I am happy with the results. This is why I have a low rating: The cost was very high without explanation. There was a man at the front desk who gave me the final cost. I think he saw the surprised look on my face and I questioned why it was so high. I just agreed to pay and said I would use my card. He then quickly said cash only, then followed me to the ATM in their store, and stated "I'll give you $10 off if you pay with cash". I was really thrown off by the whole experience after our manicure. We won't be coming back to this establishment. read more

FOREVER LOYAL. I have been to many salons in my years but this one tops them all. The service here is always wonderful and their attention to detail is just phenomenal. The 2 times I have tried other salons they either did not do what I had asked (length or color) or it just outright hurt. That has never happened to me here in the 2 years I've been living in this area. I really enjoy seeing mr.Young or Kathy here. If you're considering coming in to this salon do it !! Great customer service and nice staff. Quality of nails are subpar. I know my nails are short right now, but a good dip manicure would not use shellac gel on top, so appearance over all is not seamless. Less thicker product by my cuticles would be suggested too. read more

Bad experience this visit. Way to much up sell after you repeatedly kindly decline the extra deluxe, flower add on or you really need eyebrow wax! I wanted to relax and put earbuds in but nail person wanted to know about my age and how many kids I have. Look, I talk all day at work I just wanted to be quiet, hince the earbuds. I asked them not to cut my cuticles as they bleed easy but nail lady still did and after three times asking her to stop doing that she cut me! Now I'm looking for a new place near progess ridge. read more

Came here for the first time today (3/19/23. After 5 years trying to convince my husband that pedicures are amazing he finally decided to give it a try. I chose PN&S out of it location and I'm glad I did! It's beautifully decorated and most importantly SUPER CLEAN! The staff are wonderful and made my husband feel welcomed and most importantly relaxed. I can tell they get a lot of repeat customers do to the way the nail technicians were interacting with their clients. So if you are looking for a nice place to get a Pedicure or Manicure give them a try. read more

I went here this week for my wedding nails and although the nails look great, the service could have been better. The person who was doing my manicure was so rough on filing that I walked out with cuts on three different fingers. I also was not given the hand and arm massage that typically comes with manicures and left with acrylic powder all over my fingers that I had to go home and wash off. This service cost $60, so I expected to have a better turnout for the cost of what I asked for. I'm ready to begin looking into different salons in the future because this is not the first time I've been cut here. Getting nails done should be relaxing but I'm unfortunately still in pain using my hands this week. read more

Progress Nails has been routine in my life during a time of change. I hadn't spent money on myself all that much before until the last year or so. Young's gel manicure is so solid, I have waited up to four weeks and usually three to pay another visit. I love looking nice for my job, and almost just as importantly, I love being able to book online! My requested time and day is simply texted to confirm, and I can fit a manicure into my busy schedule. It's a little bit of pampering that's well-deserved and also awesome to support a local business. Thanks for the good work and friendly faces! read more

I've been to this salon 3 times now. Twice for pedis with my daughter and a week ago for acrylic fills on my fingers. Tammy did my pedi both times and Ken did my fills. All three experiences were really great! My toe nail polish stayed on and grew out with my nails. Feet felt great! My acrylics are beautiful! I think this is my new salon. Young did a fantastic job!! I paid $47, and asked him to do very natural looking tips. This is a short full set with tip and dip. Most nail salons are not able to do a good job on my nails because my nails are so short, but he did a great job. He knew that I really wanted my hands to look clean and pretty, he cleaned up my cuticles well, and worked in A reasonable amount of time with barely any supervision. I totally trusted him. Not bulky at all, great shape, all even, and I will be back in two weeks!!! read more

Requested an eyebrow wax. I believe the man who did it was named Danny. This was on Mother's Day and he had grey/blonde hair. He was very nice but he ruined my eyebrows. Absolutely ruined them. I told him to just clean them up, that I do not want them thin. He agreed and repeated what I wanted. He then then waxed and not only made them super thin but uneven and botched. One brow is thinner than the other and he took off so much that they are so tiny now. Brows are supposed to start from the line from the outside corner of your eye, he took so much off from the sides that they start at almost the middle of my eye and they aren't even balanced. I was in such shock and there was literally nothing you can do at that point that I walked out like a chump paying my bill. (I know, I know!) Now I have to pray they grow back, look into microblading and will be drawing on eyebrows in the meantime. Nice way to ruin my Mother's Day. I would have been better off having a 12 year old try and wax them. No way has he had proper training on this. read more

We've gone to this salon for multiple pedicures and have always loved our experience. We decided to splurge and get the Deluxe Premium Pedicure and we are so glad we did. Technician cut the nails on both my big toes so badly that I now have ingrown nails that are infected! Doctor prescribed antibiotics to clear this issue. Never had ingrown nails until I went here. Never returning. read more

I have heard about this place since I work so close to it. Had gone to the nail salon across by new seasons and hated it Anyway! Walked in and the staff was so friendly I had called ahead and they knew exactly who I was and was seated with a woman in front to the right She took her time. My shellac came off so easily, which made me assume they have quality products, not watered down crap. She had my arm on a little stand/rest which I never had before it was very comfortable I went to the car and had none of my nails that I needed fixing up- this is my usual test. She did really great! This place has great ambiance and nice functuay i came here on my bday to get a pedicure and they treated me like a was a regular, great attitude, amazing customer service. One thing I love is they take their time I hate the feeling of nail places of just trying to get you in and out instead making sure of treating their customer the same whether you're getting a deluxe or not. This place was ok. The customer service was very nice, the lady that worked with me was very kind. BUT, I wanted a pedicure like, get some roughness off my feet. She didn't really scrub my feet. Just brushed it a tiny bit then put lotion on. I've just been to places that scrub and get all the roughness off and fix the skin around my toe nails. None of this happened. But my toenails and finger nails looked pretty good. Maybe I just need a place that gets a little more rough. If you just want a manicure this place is good. read more

This was my first time at this shop, I am here visiting my dad from CA & needed my nails done since our shops just closed again. I had dip on my nails removed and got French tip (dip) done today. I love it! The shop was very clean, organized, everyone was friendly & quick! Loved my service! I will return every time I visit Oregon! My sisters came with me as well and got a pedicure & dip manicure and they were very happy with their services as well! Fairly priced. read more

This place is great. Michael was so nice and welcoming. This place is very organized and clean!! I was a little nervous getting my nails done during a pandemic but they make sure you sanitize you're hands and make sure you grab a pair of gloves and a face make if you're in need of one! I got my toes and nails done by Ann. She's takes her time and did a fantastic job on my nails. Love love love this place. I highly recommend! read more

I come here frequently and have always had a wonderful experience, so I was happy to make a reservation for my staff team building, for 7 pedicures. Everything was fabulous! They were ready for us when we arrived, took great care of us and had us out the door exactly on time for our lunch reservation right after. It was my first time here and I am indeed very happy with my nail results! I had an acrylic removal and full set done. I absolutely loved my nail artist named Tina, she was very polite and offered me water. I am an observant person and I could tell her technique in acrylic sculpting and shellac application is very detailed, gentle, and experienced. I don't like to be rushed as I want the quality work to be there and Tina was patient, careful, yet efficient. She ensures you get what you want. I am very pleased with my length, shape, and color. This is my first experience in a salon, or for anything elective, since COVID. It's been a really good one. Kim, the technician, is great. The doors are wipe open and the doors in the back are cracked for ventilation, which is a massive plus. Honestly, I wouldn't be here otherwise. Everyone is wearing masks, and the cleaning and sanitizing seems up to par. There's also a partition between you and the tech for manicures and pedicures. For those who want a safe space to enjoy a pedicure, this is it. I recommend them, for sure. read more

I verified that she was trained under Lana and had her do mine. Olga asked me what I wanted and looked at my eye shape. She was methodical and a perfectionist- all what you want from a lash tech. I also like the glue used no smell and no pain. The shop is clean and adorable. I can trust my eyes to Oh My Lash! In fact, when she handed me the mirror I said, "What kind of sorcery is this? They looked just how I wanted. I would highly recommend.

I'm absolutely obsessed with pretty lashes so I'd always wear fake ones (because mine were short, sparse, blonde and stick straight - the combo from hell.) On my first visit I told her about the serum I had just started using, she advised me that I could bump up my usage of it, and oh my gosh! Within a few weeks they were drastically thicker and longer. The results have amazed me. Paired with my lift/tint, they absolutely look better than ever and I don't even wear my falsies anymore! Which is a big deal for me haha. (I've considered lash extensions but the maintenance really doesn't fit with my lifestyle so this is undoubtedly the next best thing!) I don't have to curl them at all anymore and they are dark and perfect. They look great right when I wake up in the morning and after I remove my makeup at night. I am so happy with my lashes now and I've even had multiple people compliment how good they look - which literally NEVER happened before, unless I was wearing my long fake ones! And the amount of time it saves me every morning is just awesome. It used to take me forever to get a good, even curl. I think I'm addicted for life! :) Thanks Kaya for making me feel great!

I checked my account and notice a charge for $29.99 for December and January for a membership that I never agreed to. I had my eyebrows threaded back in November 2025 they asked for me to put my information on their iPad as usual when you pay which I think it's weird they ask for email phone number and your name I paid I gave them a tip and somehow they signed me up for a membership that I didn't even know they had I don't even know what the membership covers. I went to get a refund and talk to them about it 1/11/26 they said they couldn't help me the worker there was having a hard time understanding there was a language barrier she told me to call the manager and gave me his number I called the manager the next day he told me he couldn't help me he told me to email corporate and tell them what happened and ask for a refund. It's frustrating to know that they aren't willing to help when it's obviously their fault. Please be careful. check your accounts.

I used to frequent this salon regularly for pedicures, monthly to be exact with always 1-2 friends along. When guests visited from out of town, this would always be the salon I would take them to. In September, my friend made appointments for three of us. She spoke to Michael, who took our appointment time - he said! When we arrived, three of us, Michael could not find our appointment, and accused us of not being truthful about our appointment time. He argued with us, claiming that he would not forget to write down an appointment; never apologizing for HIS mistake! When my friend returned the next day to get a pedicure, she spoke with Michael's wife and explained what had happened. She said she would have Michael come over to talk with my friend. He never took the time or interest to apologize to her. We will not return to Progress Nails ever! again! The customer service was extemely disappointing!! Please find another salon where customer service means something!! read more

I've been going to the same also amazing person for 5 years, very happy to say I happen to be out in the Beaverton area and came across this salon. Very cute, clean, welcoming and very genuine from every staff member as soon as you walk in the door. Y'all my nails are paper thin from acrylics and I wanted a full set very nervous to get them taken off! we all know how that is taking off articles. -Time Consuming-Painful. This was not the case. YOUNG made it look easy. Well this is when I realized I'm going to be driving all the way from Vancouver to go to YOUNG. Ok this is the best part he and the man that guided me to young got me switched over to powder nails with a tip! Never ever going back to articles. Been going here off and on since they opened. My favorite things? Love that you don't have to remember your file-kit, they provide you a new one every time for free. Love the shellac color selection. Love Love LOVE the new SMS dip (they just hugely increased their color selection!) - if you haven't converted to SMS dip yet, totally do it!! So worth it!!! And of course, get Jennie - she's amazing. One of the best in the business (and I've been getting nails done for many years), and a total sweetheart too. And Michael managing from the front is aawesome as well, always had a smile and is so kind and down to earth. Oh... and Angie, she does amazing eyebrows! Goodness, so much love to these happy folks! I've been to a gazillion salons from here to So cal and this is a very nice salon with great service. I'll have to give my nail technician such credit for gracefully dealing with a drunk client calling non stop and texting her all throughout my apt. The client was drunk and confused - her apt is tomorrow morning. But, that didn't stop her from lighting up my technicians phone withthreatening texts and threatening to write a bad review online. Hey crazy drunk texting lady - go get some help and lay off the bottle. Your behavior is nothing short of shameful and I'll give Diva Nails alot of credit for handling such an idiot client so well. Ask for the nail tech YOUNG!!! Went in with my three friends for a birthday, and even though they were busy, they were able to fit us all in at the same time! This is honestly the nicest spa/nail place I've been too EVER because they were very nice, smiles all around, and were offered beverages. Young shaped my set PERFECTLY! I'm amazed because in the past everyone has shaped them crooked, but Young did really great and I had nothing I wanted him to fix. He clearly knows what he's doing, and he's gentle on the nails too! My friend and I got our nails done for prom, we had an appt luckily because business was definitely booming that day. We made our appt for 10:15 and they open at 10. When we walked in almost all of the pedicure chairs were taken, they still managed to get us in right away and get our pedicures taken care of. :) We only waited about 5 min until we moved to the manicure table. She did burn my fingers a little bit when she was filing and about 3 fingers started bleeding a little bit, but I had no problem. She was really nice and said she was very sorry. My nails turned out just as good as I hoped and had a very fun time at prom:) read more

This was my 1st time to Progress Ridge nail spa. I was greeted right when I walked in by desk attendant. Very friendly. I ask for a Pedi and was seated instantly. They asked if I had ever visited and I mentioned it was my 1st visit. I requested the deluxe pedi. My technician was Ruby, she was very nice and attentive. We had small talk and I mentioned it was my birthday. They were so thoughtful and very customer service oriented that they offered me wine, chocolate and a very nice discount. The spa was very clean and the ambiance was nice. The spa was very light and bright and clean. I loved the vibe and will return. read more

I was very impressed on my first visit by the warm staff, excellent service, very clean equipment and classy decor... I was very happy with my deluxe pedicure and saved the business card. A week later I brought my three daughters for mani-pedi's in celebration of my oldest's 18th birthday. The staff was absolutely wonderful. My 4-year old and 9-year old had children's mani-pedi's (terrific value for the experience for them!) and my oldest had a deluxe mani-pedi. The little ones happily sipped their apple juice and enjoyed being big girls! What a fantastic time. We will certainly come again! read more

I visit this spa religiously every 3 weeks for a pedicure and fill on my nails. I absolutely love Young, he has been doing my nails for 3+ years now! The spa is super organized and clean, TONS of colors to choose from and welcoming staff! I enjoy my visit every time as it is my "me" time, it is very relaxing. He is the one person who can get my "hang nails" on my big toes. I appreciate how serious they have taken COVID and implemented safety precautions to ensure all customers are safe. Young is the best! He is always so friendly and welcoming when I come in to get my nails done and when I first came in and wanted to do a full ombre set he was very knowledgeable, kind and patient with helping me pick a shade of pink, a length and a shape. If you let him know you just want your nails done by him ( which you will since they come out so beautifully ), he will guide you on the proper way to sync up with him to schedule. This salon by far is the best I have come too! Everyone is so very friendly, and they make sure you are well taken care of by going above and beyond. I came for my birthday, and they literally treated me like a queen! They really took there time to make sure I was happy with both my nails and my toes! I was stopping by Progress Nails and Spa this afternoon for full service " organic deluxe pedicure" which it is worth every pennies ($45). The staff was friendly and the nail tech, Ashley was absolutely amazing. After 45 to 60 minutes pampering includes so many steps warm candle wrappers, foot massage twice, hot stone, hot towels... after all my feet are extremely clean, soft and very relaxing. I definitely recommend Progress Nails & Spa if you think your feet deserved it. read more

I'm so surprised how even though I got a different nail technician from my previous visit, they don't differ in quality of service! I love the lady I got who did both my pedicure and manicure. I was doubtful at first that she could do what I wanted which was an ombré but she killed it! I will definitely be returning. My second option would have been Bridgeport Nails but I've heard very mixed reviews with them, so I decided to give this place another shot. Didn't regret it! read more

Went here because I needed a fill, the guy who works there did it. RUDEST I've ever been treated at a nail salon. He yelled at me twice simply because my hand moved, filed every nail crooked then when I asked he proceeded to give extreme attitude and wouldn't fix what I asked him to. At this point I was in shock and thanked him as I left and he looked me in the eye and didn't say anything...never going back there if he works there. read more

I have been to a few different nail salons in the Tigard/Beaverton area and continue to come back to Progress Nails and Spa because of the friendly service I receive and the relaxing ambiance. I went for the first time yesterday and got a mani/pedi. Ruby did my nails and she did such a good job! I went way shorter than I normally go, but my girl hooked it up and I came out looking great. Then, Maria did my pedicure with a cute nude pink and it was amazing. She did such a great job. It was worth every penny and I would love to come back. They took their time and did such a great job. 10/10 read more
