Lovely venue and cool vibes yet the leads working here are pretty rude and clueless. I would recommend this place for a random family post party or light meal and drinks type of place. They have wonderful taste and copied an almost euro style but aside from the interior the staff needs retraining as to not speaking shit about their customers in the kitchen. We didn't know anything about this place and truly came cause it said whiskey bar and 2 of the 3 of us, love a good whiskey. We were highly impressed with all the appetizers. Even the hubby who hates Brussels sprouts went back to seconds and thirds. My favorite was the tots, REALLY good blue cheese as well as whatever else sauce they had going on. Calamari was average. And the wings had such a homemade sauce flavoring, I wish I would've had more than one but I wasn't fast enough, lol. Hubby enjoyed his Old Fashioned, my Moscow mule was refreshing and the third person in our group had some sort of martini-ish drink.... She ordered a second, so I think she liked it too! This place has great Brussels sprouts, and Hamachi crudo is really good. The himachi had pinzu and a little spicy but really good. I loved the Brussels sprouts so crispy and had white sauce drizzled on top - omg must try! Service could be better, not too many ppl, so I'm really not sure why service was poor. Our server, whose name is Bobby, was nice when he was providing service. However, took too long. There was a mosquito that kept flying around, which was a little annoying. The ambiance was dark, they had music playing and nice decor. My husband ordered the cheeseburger, which was delicious. My son got chicken Alfredo, and I ordered citrus risotto, which all tasted delicious! I would have given this place 5, but i feel that for the prices, the service could definitely improve. Just know I was forced to leave at least 1 star! Reflecting Valentine's Day, this was the worst experience of my life. To start I did not get the reservations I paid for. The service was absolutely horrible! All though it was said we were limited to a 1.5 hour reservation we didn't get our starter salad til an hour and fifteen minutes in! Food we ordered was not brought out to us and YES WE STILL GOT CHARGED FOR IT!!!! For the food that was brought out, it was cold and we couldn't even get any utensils! I got 1 glass of water the whole time I was there and was offered a refill shortly before we decided to leave. We were not the only ones that experienced this as we saw other couples leave angrily and voice their own experience. Way to set the tone for what was suppose to be such a romantic night. Music sucked all night as they couldn't even keep a consistent vibe and we were constantly asked if we ordered or knew who ordered the food that was being brought out. Either these hostess were very undertrained or their needs to be a change in management.Upon expressing our frustrations to our hostess, we got a very generic apology with no intentions of fixing these wrong doings and my card was heartlessly taken and swiped to pay for this ridiculous tab. Overall, I feel like I got robbed as it was $350+. I got charged for things we didn't get and was forced to pay a ridiculous tip that was so undeserving. We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the service was lacking. We waited to be acknowledged while another party that came after us was greeted and seated right away. Once we were finally seated, we had to ask for our server, who showed up without introducing herself and didn't make us feel welcome at all. One of our food orders never came, and the server didn't return to check on us at any point. We eventually had to flag someone down just to get the check--and instead of addressing our concerns herself, our server had another person bring us the bill. When we brought all of this up to the manager, there was absolutely no attempt at service recovery, blamed the hostess and made no offer to make it right. For a place that seems to pride itself on customer experience, this was beyond disappointing. I understand there's an increase in value of goods thanks to the current economic situation. However, charging a service fee and not disclosing it AT ALL, is a dishonest way of doing business. Had I not read the check before paying, I wouldn't have found out about the service fee that was conveniently added to the check. You may think, but it's a small amount, which you wouldn't be wrong. However, it's an amount I didn't agree to pay before placing my order. I wouldn't recommend doing business with such establishment. read more

I've always gone for the brunch! Fun place for a girls Sunday fun day! The bloody Mary bar is awesome and unique. The mimosas and food are good. The service has always typically been slow. The last time I went we waited about 30 minutes for a check. I don't know if our girl went on break if she forgot to tell someone else or what the situation was, but we waited quite a bit throughout the whole time we were there. And I noticed that has been a pattern the few times I've been there, which is why I won't give them five stars. But if you have lots of time on a Sunday, I recommend going. read more

4 of us went to celebrate a bday. Food & drinks were fine. Problems began when we ordered a 2 round of drinks when our food arrived at the table. We finished our food, and still no drinks. I went to check, our waiter kindly said the bar was too behind. Thats when the head female bartender berated me with all her bar problems. The bottomless mimosas are definitely not worth it here. It was more of a over priced bottomless juice bar for $45 a person. They serve their mimosas already mixed with your choice of juice. Our server would refill two of our mimosas out of the four us. The server definitely looked extremely overwhelmed and just trying to keep up with all of his tables. The host (a short guy with colored blond hair) was extremely rude. Not only was he trying to push us out, but he was extremely rude about it. The second time he told us he needed our table we had to tell him that we'd gladly leave if they would just give us our check so we could pay. I've always known of this place so I was super excited to actually go. We went on Saturday morning which is pretty cool because they had the Farmers Market. Wow let me tell you the fruit looked so good! Back to the restaurant, 10 min wait and we were seated outside. Such a beautiful day. The drinks.....DANG! So yummy! Don't disappoint. You can tell they know how to mix their drinks well when you are able to enjoy the drink. I loved the bloody Mary bar, super cute and I can choose the toppings for my drinks. We've noticed the overall menu and flavors of the dishes have improved dramatically the past several months and the ambience has shifted more positively. After learning that the head chef had recently changed to Chef Crystal, we've returned a lot more consistently. She's top notch. The problem here started with the crapper. Little did we know it was omen for our visit. To be sure if you're in this restaurant and you're coming when it's busy know that they are woefully lacking restrooms. One stall for the men, two for the women. Which now as a father I found they do not have any changing tables here...pretty sure that is against state law. We came during the festival of lights for the Mission Inn. We knew it would be busy and we were promised a table outside as we were trying to socially distance. We waited hour hour and a half, no worries we plan for that. Then when we arrive and hard to be seated at our table we are sat inside, then told no guarantees. So part of our group wasn't comfortable enough and left. They were less than accommodating told us they could put us back on the waitlist but it would be another 45 minutes. What a joke. Little did I know we should've left with them. Someone came around a pass out drink tickets like it was a night club. Very odd, but goes with the vibe of this place I think it's trying to balance itself from being some sort of after hours location and a restaurant. The most disgusting thing that goes right along with this vibe, is there was a group that was definitely well over served near us. One of the females was laying back in the booth and had pulled her pants down and was taking photos of herself. She stumbled around the restaurant for a good half an hour with people having to care for her and no one did anything. Even after the local mandate had come out about restaurant staff having to wear masks. None of the staff except for one bus boy was wearing them. And we asked why, The server shared that the owner said that they were not going to be doing that. Doesn't seem like this place follows many laws. Which I get people wanting to stand their ground and keep their customers happy, but let alone all of the other things above that will keep me from coming back, the food wasn't worth it. Our appetizers didn't arrive until our main course is did. The side of tater tots was almost an entire meal, which is great, but then when I got my hamburger the portion of fries that went along with it looks like a quarter portion of what might've come with just a side of tots. I almost sent my burger back because I thought I ordered a barbecue hamburger and you couldn't even tell the difference between the ProAbition Burger and mine until you opened it up and saw a small amount of barbecue sauce. Not great when you really can't tell your signature hamburgers apart. Overall the consensus of our party was the food was OK at best. Regardless of the food that you can find better elsewhere, the sheer lack of adherence to laws, over serving customers and just the disgusting nature of what was going on inside this will be my last visit. I recommend if you have any family to find somewhere else to eat there are plenty of options now. read more

We had wings, sliders, steak tacos, chicken scallopine, brussels sprouts and chocolate cake. It's hard to find a place with great food and service here in Riverside but this place did not disappoint. Served with a creamy sauce made with roasted red bell peppers. It was creamy but light and not super rich. The flavor of the salmon by itself was already so delicious but the sauce added even more flavor. I also enjoyed the bacon Mac n cheese which was also pretty good. The big pieces of crispy bacon had a smoky flavor. They did not skimp on the bacon but the pasta could've been a bigger portion & it needed more cheese. The calamari was just ok. Too much breading and a little oily. The server was very attentive but the kitchen must've been short staffed because it took them awhile to bring us our appetizers. read more

I understand people get busy, I could understand if it was overlooked the first time. I do not understand, FIVE attempts and fail on the part of the manager. Lea was wonderful with her suggestions and friendly conversations . Such a gem . The atmosphere here is great and even if it was a little cold out the atmosphere was relaxing and comforting . My husband had the sidecar ( very nicely balanced ) and I had the berry cold winter ( loved the not so sweetness of this drink and how it too was perfectly balanced ) . We also shared the pork belly Mac and cheese ( good portion size for two and in my opinion was one of the better Mac and cheeses I've had in awhile ) drinks are a bit pricey and the " club " area could use a heat lamp on a rainy day but other than that this place was stellar . The only reason this place Is getting 3 stars is because the drinks were amazing....I ordered the filet medium, it came out rare, the sides were cold, and it took a while to get the waitress to come back so I could ask for it to be cooked more. I did send it back to be cooked more it came back just a few minutes later still not cooked....the waitress never asked if it was better or even questioned why I stopped eating....for $50 I expect my steak to at least be cooked how I ordered it or at the very least corrected when I sent it back. read more
