My previous technician, Scott, is no longer with ProPacific but Daniel took over my account. ProPacific is very responsive and their technicians are prompt, communicate well, knowledgeable, professional and treat your home with care. I realize that there are other options, including DIY, but knowing that someone who knows more about this than I do is taking care of my home on a monthly basis is well worth the cost, in my opinion. read more

Ever since this company switched ownership, service is horrendous and been all downhill for the last year. They claim that they had been sending someone to spray and maintain the house, but that is a flat out lie. We recently had a cockroach infestation and I knew they hadn't been coming, probably since COVID. We work from home, live in a 24 hour guard-gated community in Irvine that doesn't let any vendors or guests in without calling the homeowners and checking people's drivers licenses. Finally called another pest control company to come out and that technician confirmed that the house has not been maintained. When I called customer service and told them I'm not paying their $140 bill they sent me, they still try to insist that they have been here. They say they will get back to me, and nothing for weeks. Then someone named Hassan calls today to see why I'm canceling and trying to keep us as customers. Unbelievable. They won't let you cancel without harassing you with calls and emails. Do not buy into a subscription service with these people. It's very expensive, they will "service" your house in less than 10 minutes once per quarter. I actually called them just for a one-time bee removal job. But they quoted me more for the one-time removal than a one-year subscription would cost, and the removal would be included in the subscription. Seemed like a no-brainer. But once that year was up, they refuse to let me out of the subscription. I tried to cancel once and they talked me into putting my service on "hold". Then, when it was released from"hold", not at my request, I tried to cancel. You call and nobody answers. I email and then they call me and want to talk me out of it. What's the deal? Just cancel the subscription! Total rip off. Bordering on predatory business practices, to be honest. There are much better choices out there. And for the record I'm still battling with them to cancel the account. If they drag their feet any longer I'll be filing case with the Better Business Bureau. read more

When I worked with Pacific Pest Control - they were amazing.... and then they were bought put by Pro Pacific Pest Control and it went downhill. They allegedly sealed my home (Feb 22) but completely missed sealing 3 spots in my garage. Since then, I've had large rats coming into my garage. They were supposed to send a team to seal the garage today - NO SHOW! Plus no follow-up calls. I called several times for updates - only to learn they rescheduled me to tomorrow without calling me. (I had a full morning of meetings and doctors appointment which I needed to reschedule) Meanwhile I have a dead rat in a trap over the past 2 days. Unbelievable. Do not use this company! read more

The first time they came out they sent Eli who was very thorough and we saw immediate results. Unfortunately, a month later, our yard was covered with Spiders. Arturo came out to supposedly handle the situation but he did not even remove the webs. We simply took them down ourselves out of frustration. We are now overrun with spiders and we are afraid to even sit down in our backyard. I called to see if they came out and they said we had to wait for another week for our regular service even though they tell you they will come deal with problems at any time. I cannot say our experience has been positive and would recommend you try another company that has 5 stars. This one is at 4 stars and falling. read more

TLDR: didn't use them but this review is for the inspection itself and overall interaction - it was great just took off two stars due to comparison of other companies and how they handled inspection. I had rats in my attic: Yelp blasted a few companies for quotes... I had this auto generated message, and I said sure, replied back with my number and a question I had. No response. So I did the online appointment and was told the appointment I chose did not work. Two days past (day before appointment) and I got a message on Yelp asking if I'm still interested. This makes me wonder does this company really look at their Yelp? In the end I had multiple people come out for a quote, Michael came out - on time, he was very nice, very friendly. Inspection seemed fairly quick, he took a quick peek in the attic, looked around the exterior, and gave us a quote. What didn't work for us - and why we went with a different company was that the company we went with was more thorough and found even more entry points, took pictures of everything and was willing to work with our needs. We asked to do a payment plan (short one or at least something) especially since we work paycheck to paycheck, and we got the answer "no, just pull out a loan". Also, they charge you for sanitizing even if you're going to do the insulation, which seemed interesting because you're already cleaning everything out but just getting charged extra. Overall 3 stars because they did drive out to me, and Michael was very friendly. read more

We have done business with them before with insect and pests, but have had issues in the past with consistent communication. We had them set traps for us last week and were supposed to have an appointment today from 4-5ish, and no call, no communication, and no one showed up. This has happened once before where we had an appointment and no one called. We let it slide the first time and did complain, but the prices they charge and lack of communication is enough. We plan on taking our business elsewhere. Sidenote- I even called 2 times to their after hour phone exchange and talked to a nice operator, and she said she passed along the message to have them contact us, but NOTHING. UPDATE- since this, we have had a vastly different experience. I know that many companies have their times of just being super busy and calls don't always get returned like they would want them to be. We have since renewed our insect/pest treatments with them and have been very happy. The owner reached out and was so kind and apologetic. In addition, their technicians have been on time and very communicative. We really appreciate it and have been impressed thus far with Pacific Pest Control. Their costs might be a little higher than some companies, but we have been happy with the work so far. read more

I inquired about using Pro Pacific to take care of a rat infestation in our home. They were quick to respond and sent one of their associates out the very next day for a free estimate consultation. Jordan was very informative and thorough with checking everything out. He told us exactly what needed to be done giving us a plan to execute, estimated length of time frame and the overall cost. I presented all of the information that was given to my landlord so we could take care of the issue immediately. Unfortunately our landlord wanted to go a completely different route which was much cheaper but not better in our opinion. Very professional and courteous. Home inspection for rodents in the attic was quick but thorough. Very knowledgeable of pest situations, solution, and prevention. I was completely relieved from my anxiety when I learned I had a one year warranty. This made choosing my exterminator company easier. I found this company by soliciting help from Yelp. Pacific Pest Control was the first company to reach out, contact me, and make an appointment in a manner of minutes. The process was seamless. The company called me and schedule an inspection for the next day. My house was sealed from rodents 2 days after that. I don't hear any activity in the attic, assuring that the job was done right. Now, I'm waiting for the company to check the traps left in the attic. So far, very happy with the process, especially the professionalism. read more

Pacific Pest helped us identify where the mice were coming in to our new construction home & sealed off the spots! We are so thankful. We ended up not needing the traps (the traps didn't catch anything) but we wanted the 1 year warranty that only comes with purchasing traps & house-sealing. To that extent it felt like the value wasn't really worth it for our case. Everyone that we worked with from Pacific Pest was friendly and they wore masks & shoe coverings! Very disappointed about this company, especially the owner, Craig response via email on 8/6/2019. Our family needed a quarterly pest control service at 8am, so my elderly mother can come back home between 10:30 to 11am from her physical therapy or acupressure treatment; as we were supposed to leave at least 2 hours after having the interior pest control treatment. I had consulted 2 technicians (Julio, Jesus) about what my family needs. Both technicians told me that we can have our quarterly pest control service at 8am (As their first stop of the day; instead of 2nd or 3rd), as long as we request to the office staffs when we set up service date. Prior of 8/5/2019 service, I made a call twice to CONFIRM 8AM service with pacific pest control service office staff, Tony. This appointment was set up more than a month ago. Then, 8/5/2019, Mr. Julio visited us around 10am (as his 2nd stop) to provide interior & exterior pest control service. Julio told me that office set up our home as his 2nd stop for this day. I was a quite disappointed & frustrated when my mother had to stay in the car for 2 hours with her caregiver. My mother was too tired and refused to go some other places. 8/6/2019, I emailed to the owner, Craig to ask if we can have our quarterly service at 8am (as a technician's 1st stop for the day); instead of having 8-10am time window. I also explained why we need 8am service due to my mom's therapies schedule. Craig response via email was,,,, "It is almost impossible to guarantee an 8 am arrival. This is why we give two hour time windows. Do you need the inside treated each time? Normally we do the outside every time and inside upon request if you still have active pests. What's the reason you need the interior treated each time?" "Please let us know if you no longer need service. Like I said, we give two hour time blocks for an arrival time due to traffic. It is almost impossible to guarantee and 8 am arrival each quarter." Seriously? The owner said NO,,,, when their 2 technicians said it is no problem to stop by our home at 8am as their 1st stop of the day? This company & we are both located in the Lake Forest. Oh, well, It was time for us to find another local pest control who can provide our need & care about their client needs. And we found one & happy with their professional, oriented services! Super impressed with this company! My husband and I had been trying to get rid of a gopher in our front yard for 2 weeks and were watching our landscaping slowly die away as this little rodent went to town. I went straight to Yelp and used the "request a quote" option for multiple businesses for the first time. Pacific Pest Control got back to me very quickly and I was actually messaging the owner Craig at 8 pm at night. I called and booked an appointment with Ashleigh the next morning and she was super helpful and understanding and was able to get someone to help us that same afternoon! Shawn came out earlier than expected that day, set traps, and caught the gopher on his first try. I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. My flowers and yard will need some TLC from the gopher holes.... I only wish I would have called PPC sooner, their prices were in line with their competitors and their service could not be matched. read more

Very disappointed in the quality of the pesticide this company uses to treat ants and their extremely minimal 30 day warranty on treatment. We had an ant infestation, had them spray and a week later we were still infested. They came back out for free, sprayed again and the ants were finally gone. 32 days later the ants returned and they said we would have to pay the full $199 to have them treat the house again. Keep in mind we just paid $199 30 days earlier. We've used other pest control companies in Irvine who spray once a year, not once every 30-60 days. This company pushes their yearly pest control subscription service plan - which we believe is why ants return so quickly. We will not be using this company again. Amending my review based on the owner's response. I appreciate the information about multiple treatments being needed but that information was never relayed to us at any point. Again, we were never told we could potentially have to pay $600 to take care of the ants. All that was pushed was the annual subscription service every 60 days which is excessive. My contract is for interior and exterior services for the house including the backyard, and removing spider web from patio furniture or any doors, etc....no one knocked on my door or came in the backyard and got a message on my phone that the service has been done. I will say that the free termite inspection was done throughly by Antonio . Day of work Robert & Devon did a great job my house. Did the small attic space first, then cut off the bad sections of the beams then patch & prime. Drilled holes in the wood & pump the eco friendly chemicals to keep out the termites. Fast & clean job. The wet chemicals smell disappeared within a few hours. I would recommend this company.both Robert & Devon are professionals & kept everything clean. I am extremely happy with the service I have received from Pro Pacific Pest Control. Starting with Ray who came out to investigate if I had rats in the attic (which I did) to every workman who has been here since. Jusuf came out to seal all the possible openings to my home, especially on two different levels of roof. He was sweating for over 2 1/2 hours in the sun. Before he came, the noise was so loud. It was like a party of rats. I was actually terrified. I believed someone was on my roof trying to break into my house. I almost called the police. 1/2 of my house is cathedral ceilings so the noise is directly over my head. I had friends over the next day and they told me I had rats in the attic. I never even considered that. Of course, due to these ceilings the rats can get in there, but the technician can't, as there is only about a foot of space between the ceiling and the roof. After Jusuf sealed the possible entry points, the noise level went down from what sounded like 8 to 10 rats down to 2 or 3. But that noise disappeared completely after 2 days. The "rat trap checkers" have been here 3 times now and found no dead rats in the 14 traps they set. I hear no noise whatsoever. If I do hear any noise, they will check the outside of my home to find the one remaining opening where I believe the remaining rats got out. Each technician was professional and on time. I have a two year warranty. So I am a happy customer. By the way, I got an estimate the day before from another company with a more famous name and he told me that I did not have rats because he didn't see any droppings. He would not be able to see the activity in the cathedral ceiling portions. He also told me he saw 3 possible entry points to be sealed. Jusuf sealed 12! I needed to have a fist-sized wasp nest removed from a high eave in my home (approximately 20 feet) along with an inspection for other possible Wasp nests. I sent multiple inquiries to various local pest control companies, and Pacific Pest Control was the first to respond. They were able to send a Pest Control specialist to my home at a time that was convenient for me. Roberto H. was the specialist who arrived at my home. He was prompt, polite, and very knowledgeable. He went the extra mile to explain the procedure for killing the specific type of wasp, disposing the nest, and subsequently inspecting the outer portions of my home for other possible nests. He was able to identify a remove a developing wasp nest in the front of my home! I am very satisfied and highly recommend Roberto and his team at Pacific Pest Control. Pacific Pest Control has been great. They responded to my request for a quote within an hour. I was able to call and speak with Chris, who advised that Ryan would reach out to me. Ryan was responsive and thorough. He called called often and continued to stop by checking to make sure that my pest problem was taken care of. He explained what he found and what he did each step of the way. We were happen within 3 days and he continued to keep an eye on the problem to be sure that it was resolved. Had an appointment with Chris at 10am and not only he forgot our appointment, but also when i nicely called him 30 mins after & he gave me a bad attitude saying that he told me about the Dr appointment. Yeah...he told me his Dr appointment will finished about 9am, so that's why we set appointment at 10am...REMEMBER! Then when he couldn't find our address, he called with another even worse attitude...I was kindly giving his direction and explained because I have a baby with me, so I couldn't go out to get him, then he got mad! Craig is a lifesaver. He came to my house on a Saturday night for a bee emergency. A swarm of bees were INSIDE my home. It felt like he showed up within 10 minutes! He is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He walked into the house, completely fearless like the bee whisperer he is. He gave us tips and even told us why these bees just randomly showed up to our house and how it would be taken care of. I had them out for a rat inspection (free) and a property look over; watching for places where rats could get into our home. Rigo showed up on time and very friendly. He went to work checking around the entire place, namely the roof. After he was finished he explained our house was safe from rats as they'd serviced the house with a prior owner before we moved in. After a bedbug infestation that occurred in one of the bedrooms in my apartment, I called Pacific Pest along with about 4 other professional exterminator competitors in the OC area. Pacific Pest had the best price ($1,400) for a bedbug heat treatment; aka using extreme heat to thoroughly kill all of the bedbugs that infested the home throughout the span of 3 months WITHOUT using harmful chemicals! A company inspector arrived the day after calling in to check the situation and advise me regarding my options. Although the company had a packed schedule, the staff was very considerate of squeezing me in (within the week after inspection) due to the severity of the infestation. On the day of treatment, the workers were extremely helpful in helping me move some of my heavier furniture outside so that it could be protected from the high temperature. After a full 8 hour day of heat treatment, all the bedbugs were gone forever!!! This company is legit. read more

When I had an infestation of German roaches I called Pacific Pest control and they came to my rescue. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. They had me remove everything in the kitchen. They had to spray twice but we don't have them anymore. So thank you and a monthly spray until the end of the year. read more

This company was on the higher end of 3 quotes I got to evict the rodents from my attic, but, they were also the only ond that included a full 1 year warranty. So far they completed the three scheduled checks and no critters. During the quote they gave me useful information about what they planned to do and likely paths the rodents were using. While they weren't able to finish the exclusion in 1 visit, they did return the next week to finish. All but 1 of the many spots they did look good. They were honest about the fact that given the condition of the insulation, we would be unhappy with any clean up job and could just sanitize until we are ready to redo the insulation. read more
