I have a move scheduled for 30 minutes from now. The last 48 hours have caused me an insane amount of stress. I was referred to Pro Movers by a good friend, and I was hoping for a hassle free move. Instead, I was quoted 3 different prices, and ultimately, I was told there would be a U-Haul truck instead of a company truck "because they were all booked." I finally called the main phone number of the company to verify all this, and thank goodness for the operator - she was so sweet to accommodate everything and was very apologetic for her employee's improper behavior in trying to swindle a side deal. Depending on how the rest of the move goes today, I hope I can raise my rating! :) EDIT: ALMA at Pro Movers has been SUPER amazing and accommodating. She has honored all of the company's promotions, and they are taking corrective action against the employee's indiscretions. THANK YOU!!!! POST MOVE EDIT: I am sure my experience was very unique, as they had to call movers last minute to make up for their employee's indiscretions. Regardless, I had a mover show up in loafers, jeans, a leather belt, and a polo shirt....and he barely had any strength or experience moving. I have damaged drywall and paint all over the house (not to mention the furniture itself). I literally had to help move the stuff because he kept tipping the furniture over and hitting walls, doorways, etc. The Pro Movers website indicates that their movers are knowledgeable about hooking up washers, dryers, and refrigerators, and instead, my better half had to do all that. They also spent an hour and a half trying to figure out how to take the doors off our refrigerator, so my husband ended up having to do that, as well. Not to mention, he caught them watching the soccer game so many times, he literally turned off the TV. They were also unprepared to take a break for lunch, so I literally had to buy them food and ask them to eat....hopefully they at least appreciated that! I was very disappointed, as my friends had used Pro Movers multiple times, and I am hoping my experience was a fluke. So far, aside from Alma's great customer service, Pro Movers has been a bust for us, but from reading the reviews, it sounds like most people get James x 2, and we must have gotten the D crew. Ha. read more

Iggy and Chris P. were awesome! They were very professional, helpful and punctual. We had a problem getting our uhaul and they were giving us advice and providing us with different options. Eventually they moved everything downstairs into our garage until we were able to pick up our truck and then loaded our stuff into the truck. None of my items were damaged as well! Please note that these are independent contractors so I can't speak for the other movers. This review is for Iggy and Chris P! read more

Abat, Alex and Corey did a great job for me and I couldn't be more pleased! They were a great team that worked very hard for me, took good care of my stuff and went out of their way to make sure everything was right and I was happy. My move was from San Diego to OC, so it was a long day for everyone. But they were totally upbeat and on it until the job was done. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thanks guys! read more

I just want to say a couple thing about my experience. I put together a spreadsheet on all the local movers, these guys came in 1st place hands down for several reason I will not list, but you can do the comparison. 8/15 I spoke with John, to order services. 9/12 I received a call confirming the move, time, and information on the move. 9/13 Pro Movers sent Garrett, Chris and Max. They arrived on-time. I was moving from a upstairs apartment, to another local apartment. I would like to say, they did a real awesome job. Pro Movers helped Wrap/Shrink and prep any and all items that required special assistance. Garret and Chris carried everything down stairs without issue, nothing got broke; and they did the job within a reasonable time. Max stayed upstairs making sure everything was ready to move. They unpacked the whole truck in less than 1 hour. Amazing. I would like to personally thank them for all their time/hard work. Daniel Newman One happy customer/family. read more

We used Pro Movers for a move over the Fourth of July weekend and were very pleased with our crew. Iggy, Moises and John showed up on time, ready to work were and very efficient. We have moved many times and dealt with movers that ranged from excellent to horrible. These guys were nice, clean and very helpful. They made sure that all the furniture was wrapped and protected. They were excellent and I will be using them again when our new home is completed and we move again! I would highly recommend them. Julie Linos read more

Unforgettable nightmares! Please recommend to anyone who want to experience the worst moving in life. They damaged furnitures, appliances, walls, floors, and etc. read more

Pro Movers were great. We hired Jesse and Tyler for labor only and they knocked out a huge 24' truck into a 3 story townhome in 3 hours flat. Super courteous and professional. There were no surprise charges or fees. They showed up early, did their job, and had a great attitude. Pro movers were also great in communicating when the guys would show up and guiding us through all the logistics. All in all a perfect experience and they will be my first call if we ever need movers again. read more

Update from my original review: Although the things that happened during my family's experience with ProMovers we're pretty awful, since then someone from the company has made huge efforts to contact us and make it right. He assured us 2 of the 4 movers no longer work there and and the remaining 2 will be spoken to. He's also offered to send a check to help with some of the damages. We can tell it's very important to him to make this right, which we really appreciate. read more

Chris T. was our foreman and he was awesome. He and his team HUSTLED!!! Cory, Sam, and Juen all busted their butts to get us all moved in. Even having to hoist our refrigerator over a wall to get it into our kitchen. We have moved a ton of times and someone always complains when it comes to moving our custom buffet. But these guys just handled it right when they walked in. Literally got it on the truck in 5 minutes and it was such a nice change. I highly recommend these guys for your move! read more

Chris and Jacob from Pro Movers were awesome! They were estimated to arrive between 9-10am and showed up at 8:50! :) I had to run errands before our move, so I was actually late for our scheduled time :/ LOL They were friendly and knew exactly what they were doing. I had a couch that could not fit through the front door. So Chris and Jacob unscrewed the legs and had to fit it through a small opening in our porch. Then they had to step in our overgrown bushes to lift it up and out :( If we didn't have them to help us move we would've never gotten the couch out of our place! If you're looking for movers, call these guys. They will get the job done :) fast, easy and at a great price! Thanks Chris and Jacob! read more

Chris, Shawn and John. Best move to date. I've moved a fair amount in the past and always just called from the top of the Internet search and worked my way down the list. I always go with the best price with those companies available for the move. I totally lucked out with these guys... Great price but absolutely the best move to date... across the board. read more

I wish yelp had "zero" stars because that's what these people deserve. Beware of this company. They have these guys working who could care less about the time. They just want to milk the clock so they can charge you overtime. There were 2 guys, taking 15 min smoke breaks every hour. They told us over the phone it'll be max $500. But after all the smoking breaks and all the personal phone calls they took while working, they ended up finishing in double the time they promised. Ended up being $1500. Fraud case and scam artists to say the least. Someone should video these guys and go after them legally. read more

I was contacted 2 weeks ago by the manager. Part of the message requested this: "Please help us get to 5 stars and keep our movers working by upgrading your review to 5 stars or removing it." I still stand by my review & don't plan to honor his request as my reviews are mainly intended for potential customers & not necessarily written to save jobs. I don't feel that this is a reasonable request from the manager & have never been asked anything like this before. Feel free to message me if I am out of line. Thank you read more

Awesome guys! They were quick, chill, and funny. Made this moving experience a breeze. For a small 1 bedroom move like mine, the owner was able to quote me the best price between all the competitors! If you need a quick, efficient, and affordable move, Pro Movers are your guys to go to! read more

I had an incredible move thanks to Pro Movers! ANGEL & ROBERT were my movers and they were fantastic! Nice, fast, efficient, courteous, and careful. Both were professional and working hard to get the move done right and fast. They showed up on time and got it done faster than I thought which saved me money. I highly recommend them and I will be using them again on my next move! Thank you for being so wonderful! read more

I highly recommend using Pro Movers Inc for your next move. They are efficient and super nice. They loaded and unloaded my one bedroom apt to another in three hours and I had stairs at both locations. The movers I had were Tanoise, Matt and an extra, who was in training, Mitchell. All three were great and took care of my items as if their own. Will definitely use Pro Movers Inc for next move! I meant 5 stars :) read more

Joe and Cesar were not only professional, exceptionally fast, but they were also amazing guys! We never could have imagined they would have handled the entire move that took us so long to pack in, as speedily and effortlessly as they did. I had one experience with Pro Movers and it was perfect. I made the appointment the day before, and they had the lowest minimum amount of hours. I had about 1.5 rooms of stuff to move. Chris P and Ryan G came and did an incredible and professional job. Pricing and rates and fees are all agreed upon before beginning They work non-stop full speed. They take great care of furniture I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone I know who needed moving services. Thanks Chris, Ryan; you guys were awesome. read more

Pro Movers was probably the best moving service we've had. It was easy to schedule our move and the service was reliable, efficient and reasonably priced. Jesse and Donovan helped us move into our new house and they were everything one would hope their movers to be: professional, kind, careful with our belongings, incredibly helpful, and just overall wonderful. We will be using them again. read more

My boys, Chris P and Jarred were awesome! Efficient, careful, and communicated extremely well! They did an amazing job in literally a tenth of the time it would have taken me! I made the poor guys move me from a third story apartment too, and heard no complaints! No damaged belongings or walls! Everything put in exactly the place you'd like! I've heard horror stories of movers, but this was easily the best move I've made! (Marine wife who moves A LOT haha) These guys and this company knows what's up!! If y'all need to move your things, this is the place and these are the guys to ask for! read more

I will start this review with one word: FANTASTIC!!! John, the owner (I assume), was more than helpful in answering all the many questions I had without hesitation or annoyance. During his absence one day, his staff was also extremely helpful and very responsive. Then, the movers come and they were the most polite, kind, effective, and wonderful to work with! Abat and Alex packed all my delicate items so perfectly and as I unpacked, I saw the sincere care they took of my belongings. Not a single item bent, chipped, or broke. They worked so hard and as effectively as they could despite the challenge of moving from a third floor with no elevator to yet another challenging delivery place. I HIGHLY recommend this company and if you can request, Abat and Alex are WONDERFUL!!! Thank you for all your help with my move! You guys are AWESOME!!! :) read more

I ended up using these guys because another recommended moving company was booked on the day I wanted to move. I was nervous because of some of the bad reviews but overall I was pleased with the service. I have a one bedroom with little furniture and belongings but the move took about 6 hours. It definitely took longer than I expected but as far as I know, the two guys Robert and Corey (I think that was their names) didn't take any breaks other than to get a drink of water. My brother bought them lunch but instead of taking a lunch break, they insisted on finishing the job first. The long day was likely due to the fact that my old apt had a slow elevator and my new apt on the 3rd floor doesn't have an elevator at all. The guys were very polite and professional and deserving of a good tip. If I could give any criticism, it was the fact that I was never offered a mattress cover (bag) when I made the initial appointment. As a result, my mattress and box spring had a few large dirt marks from the truck. It is free but apparently by request only. I will probably use them again. read more

Joe and Donovon did a great job. They were quick, professional, and respectful. Availability was great, I was able to schedule movers on only 24 hours notice. read more

Joe and Donovan were awesome. They moved quickly and efficiently. There was no damage and they were very very personable.

Joe and Samuel were awesome! My partner and I moved from one place down a huge flight of stairs into two separate places, also both UP a flight of stairs (they basically went uphill three ways - but like REALLY, not like the stories your dad/grandfather tells you where you know they went downhill at SOME point. These guys had NO downhill). They managed all of our heavy furniture, taking extra care to not damage anything, in almost no time. Their moving truck is large enough to fit whatever you need to move and they have all the equipment to move your items damage free - boosted by the extra care they take with their work. Joe and Samuel were friendly, trustworthy, professional and easy on the eyes. They are great with animals, easily maneuvering around my moving-anxious dog. My malamute/shepherd quickly and accurately judges character and was very comfortable with Joe and Samuel around, and was even able to lay down and relax. We would hire these guys again in a heartbeat and I highly recommend their services! Thank you Pros! read more

After a previous positive experience with Pro Movers, I decided to use them again after buying my first house. Once again, they did not disappoint. To help me with my move, Pro Movers sent me two of their best- Angel and Matt. They were both fast and efficient, while being courteous and professional throughout the entire move. They treated my items with the utmost care and made sure that my items arrived at their new destination in the same condition they were taken. Without a doubt I would use Pro Movers again and would highly recommend them to anyone needing help with a move. I know I will next time. And...if possible, i will ask for Matt and Angel again- two hardworking and professional guys. read more

Great, reliable service. Joe and Samuel worked quickly and took great care of my belongings. Would recommend to others

What a great moving experience. James and James were extremely professional, showed up on time, made sure everything was carefully wrapped and loaded on the truck, and had everything unloaded in my new place ahead of schedule. Upon arrival at the new place they quickly realized that the refrigerator was not going to fit through the front door, so James quickly went to work taking the doors off the fridge and making it fit. I honestly didn't think they stood a chance, but they made it happen! I've moved several times in the past with horrible experiences, but this was absolutely a great experience. I highly recommend Pro Movers. read more

I could not be happier with the move we just had with Pro Movers. Charles and Chris were fast, efficient and respectful. I'm so GRATEFUL I found Pro Movers on Yelp! Amir and Isco where prompt, efficient, organized and very professional. I'd hire them again in a heart beat. I highly recommend them for your move. A+++! I called around in search for movers that could move my piano from the 2nd floor. ProMovers could do it and it had one of the better rates and was available on the date we needed the move. Cory, Tanoise, and Sam arrived during the scheduled time frame, they were professional, fast, friendly and courteous. I wanted to mention how exceptional Joe and Kevin were today, I've never had personal movers ever. And I've also never had such trust in people handling my own items, these guys handled multiple heavy redwood oak furniture items carefully and with extreme attentiveness. It was a truly windy afternoon and still they managed to get things placed and unpacked into the new location, in half the time I had initially paid for. I can assure you that if any family or friends of mine need moving assistance, I will be going to Pro Movers and asking for Kevin and Joe! Truly thankful, Roger and Jess read more

I have never hired anyone to help us move, but I now know it was the best decision ever. Prior to connecting with Pro Movers I completely thought movers would be slow and not busting a sweat at all, but when Chris and Donovan got to work, they were super quick and efficient. It tools a few hours to move all of our items (multi level) from one location to another, but with every second, the guys never delayed. We're so grateful for them because if we would have done it on our own, it would've taken days instead of just 1/2 of a day. Thanks guys! read more
