We just used Pro Movers for the first time this past weekend. Chris T., Chris P., and Andre were awesome. We moved from a large 4 bedroom home to a temporary 2 bedroom home. These guys arrived early, worked hard the entire time, and were sure to take care of our furniture and belongings. They also made it a point to be sure and ask where everything should go and were even willing to take stuff back out to the garage that I didn't want inside. They did make a small scratch on my hallway wood floor but were apologetic and fixed it right up with their scratch kit. The scratch wasn't really their fault as there were something poking out from the bottom of my sons heavy dresser and they were making a very tight turn into a bedroom from a hallway (just being 100% honest). I would definitely use Pro Movers again. It was an overall good experience and will call them back for our next move in 6 months! read more

Pro Movers - Chris T., Chris P. and Andre. T. These guys did a great job! - Movers Near Me - Anaheim, California

I had a very good experience with these movers. They had a very good price, and are insured. I was able to book them on less than a week notice after another mover cancelled on us. Alan was prompt and had good communication. They were exactly on time. They moved fast and nothing got broken. Only a couple reasons I didn't give a 5 star. He told me they could move my piano up a flight of stairs - for a $80 extra fee. Turns out they weren't able to get it up the stairs. The guys were great and gave it their all. But I was disappointed. They charged me half $40 for just the moving of it to the ground floor. Also, at the end of the day they guys were really ready to go home and told me the truck was full and took off. Leaving behind a couple big objects- full length mirror and kitchen cart that was really hard to move on our own. They really could have fit them on with a little effort. Having done a big interstate move recently that was paid for by my work - these guys didn't do the same level of wrapping furnature - or protecting floors. But it turned out fine. But all in all a good job - timely, nothing broken, and a fair price. read more

Ryan G. and Abat did a great job moving our things they were fast but careful. They were nice and insisted that we didn't help them. The company definitely has the best prices and options no hidden fees. I would recommend and pro movers to my friends and family and make sure they ask for these guys. Patty read more

Fantastic job ! Very professional, actually made my move fun with great efforts and personalities. Highly recommend Joe, Jessy & Brian

Highly recommend. I needed them for a long distance move from So Cal to Nor Cal. Niko was great in reassuring me that he understood my needs and could easily accommodate our schedule. Marco and Miguel showed up on moving day and quickly loaded everything up. We packed our own boxes, but they wrapped up the furniture - table, china cabinet, display case, etc.. They knew what they were doing! And to think we were originally going to Uhaul this on our own. That would've been a disaster!!! Thanks Pro Movers!! Oh ya - price was on point, too. read more

I used Pro Movers for a local move. Price was reasonable and they were able to accommodate me on a weekend with short notice. Joe and Carlos were really great to work with. Good communication, good work ethic. All items were moved without a scratch. Fast, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend them! read more

When I received the email asking for feedback 2 days after the move, I genuinely laughed out loud, because the experience they put me through was so detached from caring about the customer experience. I'll try to summarize the diatribe I put together, since I don't expect everyone to read what I submitted through their system. I just hope I can stop others from making the mistake of hiring this company. The short version: 1) They don't show up on time. 2) They damage property and then lie about it. 3) They are careless with your property, making you unsure of whether or not you want to let them to continue to handle your valuables. 4) They work slooooooooowly while charging you hourly for it. 5) You will probably have to jump in and do their job for them (like I did), because you will no longer trust them to complete it in a reasonable amount of time without causing further damage to your valuables. 6) They come unprepared with too small of a truck. If it's your last possible day to move, be ready for that hourly charge to get milked from having multiple trips. It wasn't our last day, but I ended up renting a truck myself to finish the job and I'm not sure I'll ever hire movers again. 7) They are inefficient with their "tetris" when it comes to packing a truck. They might have been able to fit everything in one trip, but I guess we'll never know. The long version that was submitted as customer feedback: 1) Don't show up 2 hours past the expected arrival window so you don't waste the client's time and planning. Generally speaking, a person paying for a service would expect you to show up on time and at least provide a notice that there will be delays. I shouldn't have to call your company to find out what happened and why you are late. 2) When you damage the rental property your client is moving from, the response "it was like that" is not only a blatant lie, but is the cherry on top of how unprofessional your company appears to be. In fairness, once we started watching your company representatives every step of the way, they improved the care with which they maneuvered furniture around the apartment. 3) When taking valuables and breakable dishware down a flight of stairs, don't allow the dolly to crash down every single step, making the client worry whether anything they own is going to survive the move while also disturbing all of the client's neighbors. 4) Don't take the fact that you're charging hourly as an invitation to be as slow as possible, frustrating the client with the fact that they are going to end up overpaying for substandard service. 5) Don't be so infuriatingly bad at the previously highlighted items that the client feels the need to jump in and start carrying their own stuff down the stairs, because the client no longer trusts you to do the job you're being paid for. To be perfectly clear, YES, I began hauling items down two flights of stairs, myself, because I no longer trusted your company to do this job in a timely manner without damaging more property. 6) Bring a large enough truck to move everything. In every phone conversation I had with every representative of your company, I made it clear that we were moving a large 1-Bedroom apartment, sized between 800 sq ft and 1000 sq ft, and yet for some reason your company arrived with a truck that could maybe have fit a small 1-bedroom apartment if packed appropriately. When the client is paying by the hour, it feels more like an attempt at gouging the client for as much money as possible by forcing multiple trips. 7) Pack appropriately and efficiently. Despite the truck being too small, it could probably have fit more than it did. I still would've needed to rent another truck to finish the job, but maybe I wouldn't have needed to get another box truck the exact same size as the one you brought. To be perfectly clear, YES, I had to rent another truck to finish the job myself. I certainly wasn't going to let your company's hand in my wallet again, based on the experience. In summary, my suggestions for your company are to be professional, be on time, don't damage property, don't lie about not being involved with property that you have damaged, bring a large enough truck to complete the job you're contracted for, don't work extra slow to milk the hourly rate for all it is worth. read more

First time using a moving company, and I was skeptical about hourly charge setup... after having Charlie, Miguel, and Cameron from pro movers- I can confidently recommend pro movers to anyone else. This definitely helps from the homeowner side with all the other stresses we are dealing with regarding the move, these guys made the move one less stress to worry about read more

Be very careful with this company. They will rip you off big time. They took half of my belongings plus 5,000.00 cash that I have saved up for some new furniture for my new place that I had stuffed deep down inside a box, mixed in with my clothes apparently they had opened my boxes and looked through them.probably to find valuables. Well they hit the jackpot , They also stole soooo many things I can't even begin to tell you - I can't list them all. I totally advise to anyone moving to take pics of your belongings and check that everything is there before the movers leave, They also told me before we left the old apt. that they needed to get a bite to eat. They went through all of my things instead and stole most of my belongings. They didn't put my bed together because they had lost the frame during the transition. So all I have is a mattress on the floor with no frame. They almost stole my electric bike. Good thing my friend and I went back to see if there was anything left behind and sure enough they had hidden my electric bike in the garage so they can go back and pick it up or should I say steal. Too bad for them, imagine the look on their faces when they saw it missing. I just hope no one else goes through this and gets ripped off, they will steal big time. so BEWARE MOVERS DO NOT GO WITH THIS TERRIBLE CO. You will be sorry, it says five stars which is a big fat lie. If they had zero stars I would have given them that, but for now it has to be 1 star, They oughtta be ashamed of themselves read more

Our Crew: SAM and OMAR were incredible! They worked quickly and efficiently. They were polite and easy to work with. They were by far the highlight of our experience. Price: the price was fair and reasonable, but we did move on a Wednesday and only had three hours worth of moving. Scheduling: the biggest issue we had (and it was a big one) was the timeline of our moving day. We booked our appointment over a month in advance and Pro Movers confirmed our 9am appointment. At 9:15am on the day of our move we got a call that our crew was stuck on the 5 and couldn't get to us. We understand, traffic happens. We were told the only way to ensure we moved that day was to schedule us for an afternoon time slot, to begin between 3pm and 5pm. This was a huge inconvenience but it was apparently our only option. We called at 4pm for an update but there still wasn't an estimate of when our crew would be to us. It wasn't until 530 that our crew called us and said they were on their way but with traffic they didn't get to us until 630. It was disappointing that we had been accommodating and pushed back our move time only to have it start 9.5 hours late and when we were assured the latest it would start was 5pm. Customer Service: Sasha tried her best to be helpful in dealing with the scheduling snafu, but there were hours and hours we were completely in the dark. They don't take check and our crew didn't have a card reader so we had to run to the ATM at 10pm at night to get cash, which could have been avoided if the management gave our crew a card reader. It was also very disappointing that after all of the issues we had we weren't offered any sort of price reduction or other compensation. Overall, the move itself went well and on a normal day our move probably would have been super easy. But the lack of communication and service from the management was frustrating and made our move much more stressful than it needed to be. read more

Angelo and Donovan were fantastic they were professional, friendly, and efficient. They showed up on time and treated our belongings well.

WORTH IT!! I cannot speak enough good things about them!!! One other thing to mention for people moving into small or tight hallways - these men were so incredibly creative at moving my large furniture through my narrow stair cases in my townhome! I was so surprised and realized I could absolutely not have done this move without professionals. Pro movers was so incredibly helpful. They were with me for a lot of hours but truly were so productive at loading and unloading. They each seemed like kind well mannered gentleman which was really a relief when it came to trusting someone to move my delicate furniture. I was nervous because a lot of what I own is mirrored, glass, polished silver. I was so worried of the fragile nature of these furniture items that they wouldn't make it in the move. Well they protected each piece really well and made me aware of any compromise in my furniture prior to wrapping so that I'd know where the issue came from if there was any. They paid really really close attention to detail. I even gave them instructions of a drop off in between my move and I wasn't present nor did I have to be because they remembered each item that had to go to my grandmas house. They did not make not even one mistake! In the middle of their move with me, I was so happy already with their hard work that I went and picked up lunch for all of them so they could refuel. They really are kind hearted exceptional men. Each one had their strengths in moving and Tonias has been in the industry for 20 years. Frank and Jessie were also wonderful. They had plenty of supplies, moving blankets, plastic wrap and tape so as to protect all of my furniture so that was great. They stayed with me from start to finish until I was fully satisfied of the layout of the furniture! I promise you wouldn't regret it and truly if you are a woman moving, you will be in such great hands with how well mannered these gentleman were! read more

Totally happy. I needed furniture only, pretty simple. Booking was straightforward, quick and easy. I was given a one-hour arrival window (9-10am). I got an email confirmation right away, and a reminder the day before. The morning of, my guy called at 8:45 and let me know he would be there in about 30 minutes. Perfect. Upon arrival, we did a quick walk-through and they got started right away. Throughout the move, both guys were friendly, upbeat, and efficient workers. Everything went smoothly - it was easily the best move I've ever done. Would totally use these guys again and recommend them to anyone/everyone. read more

Joe and Jesse completed my move in a timely and professional manner. The movers were great, however I don't trust the company's advertised rates. In the email confirmation it states they will charge "double drive time" but does not mention anything about a 1 hour minimum drive (which they then doubled). My drive was only a few minutes so I was charged an additional $85. Follow up: spoke with John and he resolved the discrepancy quickly and fairly. read more

Pro SCAMMERS Pro THIEVES Pro LIARS!!! Do yourself a favor and read the rest of the bad reviews if you really want to question. These people should not have a license or be in business. My biggest mistake was not checking reviews before hiring them. Stay away and use anyone or anything other than this company if you care about your belongings or your safety! This review was posted and then taken down and the message I got from Yelp was "We're reaching out to let you know that our moderators removed your review of Pro Movers because it wasn't clear that your review described your firsthand experience as a customer of the business." Let me tell you I am so sorry that I did have first hand experience and just chose not to state it all as it is so long most people won't read it and for my safety but I will include more info it if that helps to get the word out that these people should be avoided. I did a quote over the phone and hired them based off of that quote. They were not the cheapest but I liked they were local and thought they would do a good job. They came to my place, looked around and told me I had to pay 3x the amount. We told them to leave and they magically reduced the price but still almost 2k more than the original quote. I called and asked to speak to a manager, no one would get on the phone and no return call. They packed our stuff, took it in a generic rented truck and then we didn't hear from them again, after several calls and months later I finally got my stuff which was a mess! Everything was broken, every box was smashed and not one thing was done to compensate....infact they again asked for more money before leaving! Stay away! read more

I contacted Alan for a move from our 2 bedroom + loft Condo in Huntington Beach, to a 5 bedroom house in Costa Mesa. I had called a few places and found Alan's rate competitive. I provided a couple days notice before the move, and the crew showed up on time. The 3 guys Alan sent all worked hard, and were professional and courteous. They packed everything carefully. Part way through the move we realized we need more wardrobe boxes for all my wife's clothes. Alan dropped off more wardrobe boxes promptly keeping the move progressing nicely. What prompted me to write a review was how Alan handled what came next. Although everything had been packaged nicely, and wrapped carefully we did have one major problem. When we unwrapped the large Plasma TV I discovered it had been cracked. Most likely from a speed bump on the way out of the condo complex. I immediately called Alan to determine how this would be handled. Alan came out to our new home and examined the TV, verified with his men what had happened, and made things right without forcing us to claim insurance. As a business owner myself, I realize they had no legal requirement to do so. This could have gotten very ugly, but Alan's sense of fairness saved the day. If any situation was a great test of character, this was it. 5 stars. read more

Stay far away!! Everything about this company is crooked and they are thieves. I have been trying for months to get them to respond to me regarding broken and missing items from my move last November and all they do is ignore me. They damaged or lost thousands of dollars worth of items. I submitted the claim per their instructions via certified mail and no one has responded to me despite my countless emails and phone calls. I have given them so much time to handle this and opportunities to do the right thing and I just get ignored. I am left no other choice but to seek legal action now which I am certainly going to do. Plus on the day of the move the movers moved so slow so they could add on more hours and charge us more. We had an 1800sqft house and only moved one mile away and they arrived at 10am and didn't finish until 1am! My mom moved from Orange County to the desert from the same size home and her movers were able to do it way faster even with the 2.5 hour drive and she has more stuff then us. Unless you want to be overcharged and stolen from then stay away from this company. There are plenty of other options out there who are honest and won't steal. read more

BEST MOVERS EVER! I had such a great experience with them - I will never hire anyone else! Hired Pro Movers for my move from Fullerton to Long Beach. I needed to move two bedrooms, a living room, dining room furniture and a garage full of junk into the first floor of an apartment. Iggy and Aziz showed up with a big truck and HUSTLED. My biggest fear hiring movers was that I would be ripped off due to time but they loaded, drove to long beach, and unloaded my house all in 3 hours. They set everything up and were not only efficient, but super friendly. They were very proactive, did everything on their own, even remembered which furniture went in each of the bedrooms so our move was completely stress free. They wrapped our tvs, offered to wrap the mattresses, put together my headboard etc. We did not incure any surprise charges - everything was explained before and included. I would most definitely recommend hiring them for any move you have!! Thanks so much Iggy & Aziz! read more

Michael and Steven did a great job moving a piano. They are very detailed and careful in their work. They truly deserve 5 stars. I'm giving 3 stars because of the logistics side of the office. 1. My job was scheduled to be the last one of the day. They had to use a full size (I think it was at least 20' long truck) empty truck to move 1 piano. 2. The quote given to me over the phone and email did not match the movers' paperwork. 3. There were insurance options that I was not aware of when I did the quote. The job was done at the time frame they said for a great price. Though there were a few minor inconveniences, I'll use Pro Movers again. read more

Movers strike me as one of those things that either goes great or is a total disaster (or in the case of Yelp, a 1 or 5) and Pro Movers definitely delivered for me. As a few other reviews mentioned, I liked the idea of a deal but got a little nervous seeing their lower than typical price [and the website sure didn't help instill confidence either], but the reviews were great so I took a chance. Reservation: A quick email through their website, a few replies back and forth and I was all set for a move date less than a week later. Never had to deal with the phone, no forms to fill out in advance, and all the included services were spelled out in writing. Pre-move check: The morning of my move and a few hours in advance the foreman called to confirm the address, any special needs and insure he had all the right gear. They arrived right in the middle of the 30-minute promised window. Moving: Having been through the process too many times now it seems like every crew has a little different approach but after the necessary forms, a quick chat on the items and my expectations they were off. I picked a rough day with temps in the 90s, so I didn't expect to see any running but they kept a constant pace and used experience to move things smarter rather than just pushing rip after trip. Prep is important to protect yourself and speed things up and I had everything wrapped, boxed or padded but they added more for the move and after it as well. So far it looks like everything made it in the shape it left. All said this was one of the quickest moves I had taking care of my [large] 1 bedroom in under the 3 hour minimum... Another few bucks for tip (they work didn't push for it which was nice) and done deal. Thanks to James, James & Shawn for the quick move. read more
