Moving sucks theses, Jesse and joe helped out a lot and made the move easy. They were efficient and super helpful

I hired ProMovers to move about 12 pieces of furniture from an assisted living facility (studio apartment) with 6 pieces going to a storage unit nearby and remainder going to our home, about 5 miles further. My review is mixed: The good: The movers were on time (actually a bit early), nothing was damaged, and the move was fairly efficient. Overall cost was reasonable. The not so good: The move "supervisor" didn't appear to know that this was a two-stop move - although the booking papers clearly identified two stops. The truck was loaded incorrectly - although each item was clearly identified as "storage" or "house." One of the movers (apparently a trainee) was plugged into his phone almost the entire time and seemed tuned out throughout the move. The movers mentioned "gratuity" at least twice (yes, I tipped them, but not happily). Picky issue: The movers didn't offer to unwrap furniture after it was delivered to house. Would I hire them again? Don't know - depends on the alternatives. read more

This was my first time using Pro Movers. Our day began at 10 am, and ended around 4pm. First, my washer and dryer was taken to a separate location. Somewhat difficult but Joe made it happen! Then the rest to the new address. They worked really hard and moved quicky. I especially appreciated the good attitude and positive energy. Often underrated but I believe is just as important. They managed to get everything to fit perfectly into the truck! I really wanted to give 5 stars but I'm only knocking one for a miscommunication about addresses which created delay and some frustration. Joe apologized, immediately and made it right. I would still hire them again. Considering how how hard they worked and their great attitude, one little snafoo won't keep me from recommending them. read more

dont use them !! horrible horrible experience!! first off i was given a 9 - 10am start time ,the truck arrived @ 1130. the quote they gave me on the phone was different then when they got there. it took 2.5 hours to empty a storage. then another 2 hours to unload the truck and place items in my garage. then i was over charged. i paid 1 hour for travel for them to come do my move.( it was a 15 minute drive from storage to garage) and the drivers wanted grutituy on top of that. then they charged my card 3 times. and claim it didn't go through, but clearly it was on my bank statement that it was charged 2 times. the third was declined for fraud. john in the office is rude as hell, and could definitely use a customer service course immediately. i say run.... to anybody eles !! read more

If you want items missing, water damaged, boxes barely holding anything due to them being ripped open and haphazardly taped back together, no communication or accountability these are your people! They do not respond nor do they take care of your belongings. If anything they steal things they want and damage things they don't. This business is one that should not have survived the pandemic. read more

We needed to move some boxes, a wooden table and a wooden chest out of a storage unit to another smaller storage unit about 7 minutes away. We called last minute after realizing we could not move the items ourselves - they were very professional on the phone and was able to get a 3 man crew out to do this job within a couple of hours on such short notice! The crew called when they were heading our way and arrived right as expected. The crew was friendly and quick - we had Joe, Jose and Sergio. They were able to finish the job within under an hour and a half. They did a great job - thank you! read more

Just moved from Irvine to Lake Forest. Edgar, Kevin, and Juilian were there right on time and didn't wait to start moving my stuff out. I had 1 bed room apartment furnished (but already packed) and they had the truck loaded in less than 2 hours. I couldn't believe how fast it was. After a quick drive, and an hour of unloading at two places (storing some of my furniture), my new friends were on their way. Edgar, Kevin, and Juilian were very careful with all of the furniture. Nothing was damaged in the move and it was completed in a timely manner. They were all very professional and friendly. read more

Joe, Carlos, and Christian are very professional in helping us move while my wife had a broken foot. They helped completely pack and move our belongings to our new home. They took great care in moving items from 3 stories high and carefully wrapped all fragile items. We used Pro Movers 10 years ago and the service and team remain at the highest standard. We will use them again when we move again. Thank you Joe, Carlos, and Christian for your help. read more

These guys were awesome. I was setup with Robert, Cameron and Jose D. They were picking our furniture up from a Upack container and setting up at home. The team was friendly, efficient and careful with our items. Customer service was great. They're reliable and on time. I had many surprises throughout my move and I appreciate that this team and the company worked with me to make it a smooth transition. Also their prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend! read more

The guys did a great job. Protected furniture with tarps and plastic wrap. They worked fast. They even took the doors off our refrigerator to be able to fit it through our front door. Then they put the refrigerator back together. They also hooked up our washer and dryer and our refrigerator. That alone was totally worth getting movers! Will use them again! We used them on a weekday so we got a discounted price. read more

Cameron and Eddie did an unbelievable job. They are very friendly and professional. I highly recommend pro movers for your future moving. read more

Hired them to move furniture from one floor to another. They did a fine job. Fast and efficient and friendly.

I don't think I can say enough about Pro Movers. If you're looking for a reliable moving service, then please take a minute to read my full review. I found Pro Movers via YELP, and was happy to see they are local to me, and have mostly excellent reviews. There were a few negative reviews that simply didn't sound legit since they were so "off" compared to the other highly positive comments, so I decided to give them a shot. When I first called, John answered and took the time to answer every one of my questions and was able to support all my move-in needs with confidence (very tight gate security, not sure how close the containers would be to my front door till day of delivery (due to limited space), and a 2-story home). I called a few other moving services, and John's customer service was by FAR better than the others. Setting up the move with Pro Movers was so fast & easy and I appreciated the discount they offered when paying with cash. My two movers, Matt & Tanoise, were amazing!!! They arrived on time, worked fast to empty the first UNITS Storage container so it could be picked up when the 2nd container was delivered, and worked hard to get the overall move-in completed as fast as possible. They also put together both my beds (a king adjustable bed, which can be a total pain, and a regular queen) as well as my dining room table. Matt has a lot of experience with setting up adjustable beds, so his expertise was a blessing! They consistently asked where each piece of furniture needed to go as it came into the house, offered to move things around as needed, and never hesitated when having to move heavy furniture upstairs. I am SO impressed with the service that Pro Movers provided from beginning to end! I should also mention that both Matt & Tonoise wore face masks the entire time they were working since we were in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. I am SO grateful for the safe and professional expertise that Pro Movers provides to their customers! read more

I rarely review any business but for this moving company I am very Impressed with their services. Joe, Jesse and Charlie are very friendly and always make sure our furnitures goes in to the right place where we wanted. The whole moving process very smooth and it only takes them 5 and a half hours to move everything to our new house. We are very pleased with their services. Highly recommended! read more

Joe and Christian from Pro Movers were amazing!! I had a fairly large move and they worked tirelessly hardly taking a break. I was impressed by their efficiency and they took care to make sure all of my things were handled with extreme care. Thanks guys!! Would highly recommend! read more

Do Not Hire This Company. They have created a nightmare for our family. They picked up prestine furniture and delivered broken furniture, filthly mattresses. We are missing more than 40 pieces. They claim our items were stored in a "secure vault", yet we received other peoples stuff and cannot get an answer as to where the rest of our items are. Probably delivered to someone else. We are extremely disappointed with their followup and response to our concerns. We now have to buy new mattress, dining furniture and a new sofa. I'm guessing that would be in excess of 5K. So not happy! read more

Payden, Omar, Gianni helped us move from our two story townhome to another unit and helped us build our furniture. They were fast and efficient and super helpful. I highly recommend these three as they are excellent at what they do! read more

Today we had Anthony and Jose helped me move a complete classroom to a storage facility and it went great. They called me before the time of pick up to confirm any additional tools needed. They showed up on time and started working right away. We loaded up and headed to our storage location. At our storage location they made sure to organize everything nicely so that I could have room to store on more classroom. Overall great experience. I highly recommend them read more

Wow, what a relief it was to have Joe & Samuel help us with our move. We had everything packed and ready to go and they quickly went in and started packing the truck. They were both very friendly and engaging throughout the move. They were FAST, our two bedroom two bath townhome was loaded up and packed in their truck in a little over an hour. They both worked really hard and were very careful with our belongings. Be prepared to pay with cash at the end of your move and TIP your movers! They did amazing and worked really hard! I would recommend this company to my friends and family! Ask for Joe and Samuel, they're awesome!!! read more

Joe Jesse and Antonio were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend. Got our move done within 5 hours! Great job.

We picked this company after getting a great recommendation to use them. We are very happy we did! They called to confirm and review the details of our move and they were on time. We had Joe and Carlos help us with all the big stuff we had, which was quite a bit since we'd been at our place six years. They were efficient in their time, very friendly and listened to us. I was very happy they got All my plants, I have a lot and huge pots too! We're extremely satisfied with the work they did, my husband and I would use them again. We highly recommend them to our friends and family! Thanks Joe and Carlos....from the Francos! read more

We tried this company because our favorite moving company "Apollo movers" went out of business. The rate appeared competitive and the gentleman we talked to over the phone seemed nice and professional. However, day of the move, the experience was anything but professional. The truck showed up late, prompting me to call and find out where the truck was. I was offered a $25 discount, which basically covered their 5% fee for credit cards...which is something that would have been good to know before they showed up. Movers started at 10 and spent 20 minutes basically clearing space in the truck because it appeared it was filled with a mess of large boxes and someone else's furniture. Almost immediately, these 3 guys started arguing and fighting which basically lasted the entire moving experience. We were already prepared with color coded tape and had everything laid out for them. We indicated that the furniture in the garage didn't need to be wrapped, yet they spent extra time doing that. They got stuck with one one piece of furniture and determined to disassemble the entire thing. I told them to just disassemble one rail to get it through the door....instead it was a 45 minute ordeal to try to disassemble the entire thing with lots of arguing amongst themselves. A load up that should have taken less than an hour took almost 2 hours. When we finally got to our destination, work started okay. However, the 3 guys moving were more like 1 guy doing all the work with the other 2 hiding in the truck. I had to stay in their line of sight to make sure they were working. It's okay to take a break, but there were a bit too many breaks...every few minutes. Our stuff was falling out of the truck when they opened the doors, indicative of very bad organization in the truck. There was lots of yelling, language and arguing throughout the entire move in. One of the guys rode one of my kids bikes down the ramp. These guys were anything but professional!! The complete opposite of professional. To be nice I gave them a tip, and the immediately began to jear at how low the tip was. I felt like saying the tip was for the one guy who actually worked. However, one of them revealed he was wearing a very large hunting knife...who wears a hunting knife in front of a customer? Honestly, I felt afraid for my life at that point. The move altogether was $120/hr for 5 hours ....honestly any other professional team could have had it in less than 4 considering everything was prepared for them already and a bulk of our stuff went into the garage. I will look elsewhere next time! Don't hire these guys, they are terrible! read more

The movers were professional and very friendly. Excellent customer service from Carlos, Richard and Gershwin. Rock Stars!!

Christian, Darren and Joe were crazy efficient. They did everything they possibly could to move quickly and handle with the utmost care. Incredibly respectful and responsive service. Running late, no problem.... Communicated and sent me three guys for the price of one. My husband was unable to help with the move at all due to work obligations and as a woman handling the business of moving on my own I was treated with respect and kindness to ensure that all my moving needs were met. read more

Pro movers are quick and efficient, friendly and know what there doing. They also quote a fair price. I would use them again.

Joe and Donovan did their job well but am missing a bit set. Said they would mail it to me. Will change to five stars once it's emended.

Joe and Donovan did a fantastic job in getting us moved. Both men were polite, considerate and very hard working. Their impressive efforts made our move effortless. I highly recommend Joe and Donovan for your move. read more

This company is the best. They are very professional and took care of business for me to pick up some furniture that I bought. We used Pro Movers for a local move to our new house, with a couple of weeks of storage required in-between. Unfortunately there was a mix up at their storage location which resulted in a missed delivery on due date, and then an incomplete delivery the next day. Frank, Sasha and John were helpful in working towards a resolution, which nonetheless took a full 2 weeks to resolve entirely. read more

Joe, Donovan and Joseph were awesome. Had to move a hot tub and it was a very tight move. From the pickup to the destination, Joe was able to adjust for the angles and weight distribution to guide his team and get the tub into my yard. I don't think many people could have quarterbacked it that well. His guys did a great job. Definitely recommend them for any type of move. This one was tricky and they pulled it off. read more

Ben, Jose E and Josh were amazing during my move on 11/3 (pickup/full service pack for long distance move from SoCal to Ohio). I had been worried since making the initial request/booking 7 weeks ago through a broker out of Florida (at that point, had no idea who the movers would be and had heard of so many horror stories regarding movers nowadays being shady/scammers). These guys totally put my mind at ease. From the minute they showed up until the minute they left, they were nothing but professional, helpful, responsive and courteous - not to mention careful with every item in my home. The only thing I wish I had done differently was not book through a broker - be sure to book directly with Pro Moving and Storage and eliminate the hassle that comes with dealing with brokers. Thanks again for a great experience! read more

Joe, Kevin, and Jesse helped us move on Monday, January 22, 2018. These guys really hustle, and they moved our house with a smile on their face! Their rates are affordable and they handle our stuff with care. I've used them 3 times now to move, they're definitely worth five stars. read more

DO NOT USE PRO MOVERS!!! There are plenty of other moving companies out there to use. I have used a specific company the past few times that my family has moved and I love them. Unfortunately, we had to move quickly this time and they were booked. So I turned to yelp and contacted a few companies. Pro Movers responded and were available so I went with them. Horrible experience from beginning to end, never ever again! I am in the property management business and everyone that I come in contact with that needs movers will hear my opinion. 1. Booked 9am-10am window, they called to switch to 12pm-2pm. Offered a discount. No problem! 2. One of the guys moving me called the night before asking what I have for them to move. No communication? Again, kind of odd but no problem. 3. The same guy later text me saying that the morning move cancelled, and offered to move me up. I declined since I had already timed my morning out. Now I'm getting a little annoyed. 4. They show up in a RENTAL BOX TRUCK!!! Not a legit moving truck, but something that I could have rented from u-haul myself. No way our stuff was fitting in there. Now I'm extremely annoyed. 5. The guy walked in and looked around, then said, yup it's going to take about 7 hours and 2 trips. Well of course it's going to take 2 trips in that little box truck! I even offered to help to lessen the time. 6. I initially told them that I needed a large 2 bedroom moved, so it was no surprise. Keep in mind, the company that I previously used moved our large 2 bedrooms multiple times in 1 trip, within 6 hours including drive time (stairs and all). 7. They took forever! They packed and delivered everything but my sectional couch (which was the 2nd trip). Once the truck was empty, they were like okay I'll get the paperwork ready. I asked them, what about my couch? He said, oh yeah we can go back to get that, no problem. Oh really? No problem? I was FURIOUS!!! 8. They delivered the couch. From beginning to end, a total of 9 hours!!! 12:50-9:45ish!!! They hardly wrapped anything and just dumped it all in my living/dining room. I had to move everything to the rooms myself. I tried to negotiate and the guy was annoyed and stopped talking to me while my wife went to get more money since we did not anticipate them taking that long! Worst experience ever! read more
