I have to give these guys props for going above and beyond. Edpecially Bryan a one man moving machine!! Let me tell you my story real quick. I had a previous appointment from dessert movers. See my review on these guys. They showed up stones and two hours late, so I sent them packing. Called Larry at Pro movers and he could not been more professional and helpful. Now here is my predicament that Larry and pro movers were dealing with. 1 superbowl Sunday 2 sunday 3 I called around 11:30 4 I had to get out that day from my apartment. Initially they said they could do it but then called and said that their crews were to busy. Then a voice from heaven called me an offered me a one man crew Bryan!! I jumped at it because look at my predicament. Bryan came and although I was still upset about the previous company assured me he could handle it. I have never seen one man do so much without missing a beat. He moved everything, he told me if I had had music he would have moved faster.. and I believe him.. nothing was an issue couches refrigerators you name it he lugged it out like it was nothing. Cannot say enough good things about these guys!! They will definatly go above and beyond for you. The worse experience I ever had in moving . The Forman, Denis , was rude , uncaring and careless . They lied and unprofessional. Many of my furniture were damaged as well as my wood floor . They had caused so much stressed forme during the move and they did not move all my items as agreed . They are not pro and they overcharged . Kris and Art helped with my moms move today and it was the best experience with movers I have ever had. They were quick, courteous and professional. My mother has some difficult furniture that I couldn't imagine moving and they handled it with ease. We did a quick walk through of what I needed moved and once we went over what I needed moved they went to work. I had no worries while they were working and loading the truck. I highly recommend Pro Movers for your next move. Also, there was a move they did previous to ours that made them run late but they kept constant communication with us and were apologetic. Worst experience I've ever had. We planned on using pro movers to relocate from CA to WA, and everything was fine until they arrived at the apartment and tried to jam us for an extra 50% of the quoted value with several item specific fees (even for items I know were quoted for, including a piano). Ended up renting a uhaul and driving myself because my schedule had some flexibility. During many rounds of good cop / bad cop negotiations and many phone calls they said they would "go back to the recordings" to see what exactly the quote was for. When I asked for a copy of the recordings they suddenly said they might not be able to find them. Then the person I was in on the phone with suddenly had a call on the other line, and promptly hung up on me. They lost my business and they shouldn't get yours either. read more

I just had the pleasure of meeting Dennis, Carlos, and Frank from ProMovers. They professionally and quickly got all furniture moved into a very challenging 3rd story condo. They were careful and double wrapped furnishings to make sure they arrived up stairs in perfect condition. A hoist had to be used to get the couch in. They expertly maneuvered the couch over the front balcony and voila we had a couch. (I had previously thought I would be selling the couch and needing to buy something much smaller. ). Terrible moving company -use someone else. A bunch of no-talent clowns. They "lost" multiple boxes of personal and irreplaceable goods, while in storage, and broke an expensive lamp by driving over the darn thing. They seemed like they were drinking too. Never admitted fault to their mistakes and refused to compensate the losses. read more

Tanoise, Kris, and Art were great. They were efficient and careful with all my furniture, and were very flexible when I added more stuff to take, asked for items to be moved around, etc. When I made my appointment, I told the office I needed only two guys since it would only be about 10 items. I expected the job to take maybe 2 hours, and that I would just pay the minimum (3 hours plus travel). The day of the job, 3 guys showed up and Art let me know that the third guy would be tagging along at no charge to me. Well, due to a last minute change of plan, the job went from 10 items to probably 30, and it took the 3 guys 3 hours of non-stop moving and wrapping to finish everything (not including travel). I'm definitely glad I lucked out with having three guys, or else I would've had to pay a lot more. Even after a large tip, I felt it was still a very fair price for the work they did, and they worked really hard. If I had to pick 2 things to complain about, they'd be: 1. When scheduling, I was told there's a slot at 9am and 1pm. I chose 9am, at which point they said the movers would arrive between 9am and 10am, and that I'd get a call beforehand. Well, I got to the pick up point at 8:45am, and the movers didn't come until 9:57am :( And no call beforehand. 2. While moving a very heavy and large bookcase up my spiral staircase, they accidentally bumped the drywall once and left a pretty large hole. My drywall is due for some patching up anyways so it wasn't a big deal to me, but I can definitely see someone else getting upset. All in all, would I use them again and recommend them to my friends? Joe and Christian were absolutely amazing. They're great communicators which help us out a lot when we were in the midst of packing and having them load as we went. They were also extremely patient with us since we still had some packing to do and my fiancé and I were both stressed. They helped eliminate SO MUCH stress of the move and were super quick to load and unload the truck. They offered to do more than we needed which again made our lives so much easier. I highly recommend Pro Movers especially if it's your first time working with movers. Super pleasant to work with, they maintained good conversation where appropriate, and have very reasonable rates for the value the provide and stress they eliminate. Jose and Carlos did a great job. We were under some time restrictions and on a very hot day they made sure to load/travel/unload within the time I needed. They were kind and respectful of family members and the property. Like another review, due to traffic, they did not arrive within the start time window. So it is wise to ask where the truck is originating from because those of us living in L.A. understand the traffic. Also, remember that the travel time is in addition to the moving time. Finally, moving time is calculated to the 15 minute increment, so if they are loading for 1 hour and 20 minutes, you will/should get charged for 1 hour and 30 minutes, not two hours. I am grateful to have saved time and our backs in lifting and moving many heavy items. read more

dont use them !! horrible horrible experience!! first off i was given a 9 - 10am start time ,the truck arrived @ 1130. the quote they gave me on the phone was different then when they got there. it took 2.5 hours to empty a storage. then another 2 hours to unload the truck and place items in my garage. then i was over charged. i paid 1 hour for travel for them to come do my move.( it was a 15 minute drive from storage to garage) and the drivers wanted grutituy on top of that. then they charged my card 3 times. and claim it didn't go through, but clearly it was on my bank statement that it was charged 2 times. the third was declined for fraud. john in the office is rude as hell, and could definitely use a customer service course immediately. i say run.... to anybody eles !! read more

Edgar, Payden and Jesse did an outstanding job with our move on Jan 11th. This is our second time using ProMovers and we couldn't be happier. Due to issues in Escrow, as there always are, our moving date changed a few times, everytime we emailed or called we received great service. Our final moving date choice was booked so we were scheduled for the day after. A couple days before the move they called and said they would be able to move us our preferred day. ProMover's pricing is more than competitive. We couldn't believe some of the inflated quotes we received from other companies. The guys showed up right on time w/ a phone call prior letting us know they were close. We had everything boxed, labeled and ready to go. They were so efficient, organized and great personalities (which actually made moving not so bad). Everything was reassembled at the new house with care. We made sure to have donuts and a case of water for them in the morning. As well as getting them lunch after seeing how hard they were working. They were so appreciative. Take care of your movers and they will take care of you and more importantly your things! We have passed on their info to our family, friends, realtor and lender. We don't plan on moving again for many years. But we definitely know who to call if we do. read more

I would give them no stars if allow. I hired and schedule a move out from my 2 bedroom apartment, Pro Movers with 3 people crew came to my condo at 9am to start. the move starting just fine. I already had all the boxes packed and labeled. They broke a roman column statue, they said it was already broken which it was a lie. They decided to lower my dinning set from the balcony. they did not remove the plasma tv from my wall. its against their liability policy. We went to my storage to drop off some item before going to the apartment drop off location, Once we arrive to the storage facility, the truck took forever to make a u-turn, i complaint to one of the workers and he got so angry at me, i can tell he want to take a punch at me for saying that. The worker are hired from the streets, the company hire 3 party vendors to do the labor work. There is a miscommunication between company management and labor workers. It took them 7 hours to complete the move. I paid $840 really disappointing. read more

He indicated the company has updated procedures and policies. In addition, he guided me through the claims process. I am now satisfied with their response and that is why I am updating my response. I called them & got the quote around $149, so I reserved it & got bunch of emails about the reservation but didn't double check the price. & I found out on the moving date that it's $169 instead. 2 guys with language barrier showed at the last of 1 hour window. In other words, I waited for almost.1 hour for them. & they moved so slowly, not professionally at all. So I couldn't ask them to do anything else like unpacking that I was going to do since I couldn't afford because it would be double charge. & I had to call & speak to many people before the movers arrived since they were communicating one way. I felt like I was the middle person to communicate with the movers & the office/manager. No good. read more

If I can recommend 0 stars I would. This company is full of BS Lies. They will hold your shipment hostage and continually give you broken promises as to when your will receive your shipment. Goods picked up on December 26th. It is now January 26th and still have no delivery of my possessions. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. They will give you excuses on top of excuses and do not care. They hold your shipment until they can get a full container. If they do not have a full container, they will not ship your items. I was in a bind because a company from which I had purchased a refrigerator promised "white glove" service (haul-away of old fridge, delivery and install of new fridge), but when time came for the delivery, they refused to remove the old fridge. Ultimately, I reached out to Pro Movers and they were able to squeeze me in for the next day to perform the labor that the other company failed to follow-through with.
