They scammed us for roughly $200 on top of their harassment of my GF for more tips. Let's ignore for a second the games their movers played to drag the work. They charged $773.5 for 5 hr and 15 mins of work (including the drive time) while they quoted us $109 per hour! More than $200 extra. The movers also harassed my GF to get extra tips from her. She initially offered $40 but they refused to leave until she was forced to pay $60. When we reached out to their manager, Sasha, dragged the response for a week, refused to provide a price breakdown, and at the end they said extra was charged for drive time of 1.25 hour which was not disclosed in their initial quote. Which means they charged $337.5 for 1.25 hr of drive time which is ridiculous! Also didn't take any action regarding their employers harassments. Please stay away from this company for your own sake! read more

Joe & Cesar are absolute machines!!!! My entire experience with Pro Movers was amazing. I moved last minute from Orange County to Los Angeles, and they booked me in a few days later (the same day I was looking to move). Moving is very stressful, but as soon as it was booked I was relieved. For extra cherries on top, Joe and Cesar were SO efficient, kind and made me feel taken care of. Their level of service went above and beyond. This is the least stressful moving day of my entire life (and I've had many!!!). Thank you so much to you both!! read more

Carlos and Jose were incredible. They were hardworking, efficient and considerate and made the entire process of moving so stress free. We couldn't ask for anything more and recommend them to anyone who is looking to move. read more

Chose them as they were quick and responsive. They quoted me $400 to move a 2 bedroom upstairs apartment in San Bernardino to a two story townhome in Highland. This was consistent with other quotes. They confirmed multiple times. They showed up almost on time but with a 10 foot truck. IMMEDIATELY I SAID THE TRUCK IS TOO SMALL. The movers walked in the home and said oh we will have to do two trips. Okay, fine. Well that is NOT what happened. They took an extreme amount of time to play "Tetris" to try and make everything fit. It DID NOT!!!! It would have been far less time consuming to do two trips, but no, they spent an astronomical amount of time trying to make everything fit. It took them SIX HOURS just to load almost everything. Remember, this is only a two bedroom apartment. I did have quite a few boxes, but I only had one bed, one dresser, a sectional, one kitchen table. Two tvs and one tv stand. The rest were boxes. We had to tell them we will take the rest to hurry them up. One mover kept stopping and asking me which items I was taking. He asked the following: Are you taking the couch? Yes. Are you taking the fridge? Yes. Are you taking the desk? Yes. Are you taking the table? Yes. Are you taking the bed? YES!!! I wanted to respond, I am moving. What do you think!? It took them six, yes SIX hours to load the truck. They could not figure out how to get the fridge out the door. One mover asked if they took the door off the hinges or the fridge doors off when delivered. I responded no they did not. My partner had to come over (he was waiting at the new place) to help them get it out the door by telling them they needed to rotate the fridge. You would think "pro" movers would know this. The tools they came with was a small hand wrench and screwdriver. My partner had to use our power drill to help them. I still cannot understand what took them so long. The two of them kept stopping and grunting about how their backs were in pain. No offense, I know the job is hard on the body, but if you're injured, you should not be in the moving industry or at least take some time off. They did take down the desk and bed and put it back together. Thank you for that. They also put the fridge in its tight spot in the kitchen, again thank you (although my partner had to help them do that). They took 9 hours to pack and unload. I am still flabbergasted. This is not a rant from a first time user of moving companies. I have used movers six times in the past (I reviewed my last moving company on Yelp. Would have used them if they were still in business). I have NEVER EVER had such an experience. Would you like to hear the kicker? When they finished, they asked for over $1400. $1400+!!!!! Prior to them finishing we called and asked to speak with management. They said the manager would call. He did not. We called again and again and again. Especially once they told us the final cost. The manager NEVER called us directly. The mover had to hand HIS phone over to us. We spoke to the manager and he came down $100 and then we had to negotiate down to $900. I did not want to pay that of course but the movers were standing in our upstairs hallway while we were in our bedroom trying to resolve this. It was so uncomfortable. Seems as though he knew they did something wrong. Why else would he come down so much. We feel like they do this as a SCAM. They bring small trucks so that it takes longer for them to figure out how to put things in the truck. They move slowly. They had two dollies and rarely used them. They were taking some boxes down one-by-one most of the time. From our perspective, they wanted to extend the time. You're completely at their mercy once they arrive and just have to hope they complete the job. Calling management obviously does not help to voice your concerns and try to get them to move it along. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. I had to go back and move the rest of the items in our cars. I was in tears last night because I had to use a credit card to pay. I just purchased my home. I used all of my savings and put it into my home. I now feel like this just puts me in a negative financial situation as a homeowner. If we knew it would take them 9 hours we would and could have done it ourselves in the same amount of time, well I believe less time because we would have gotten a larger truck and used a dolly. If I am ever asked to recommend a moving company... I will ALWAYS preface it with WHOMEVER YOU CHOOSE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE PRO MOVERS INC!!!!!!!!! For the price I paid, I could have had someone pack my place, move me, and unpack me. Shame on you Pro Movers Inc. Shame on you. read more

Pro Movers - They also ripped my desk chair. I am going to assume this happened when they stuff it in that little truck. - Movers Near Me - Anaheim, California

Mr. Tanoise or Tony, Mr. Bryan or Ryan and Mr. Dean or Dan or Dane went so far above and beyond that I am still in disbelief at their unwavering optimistic attitudes and their ability to maintain such a steady pace of such strenuous work! For example, even when my storage facility caused some ludicrous dilemmas (I was not informed that the storage facility closes at 5pm sharp and does not allow access at all after 5pm), these three lads maintain professionalism and a steady work pace. They had already began unloading dozens of heavy commercial shelves and appliances when I realized the storage facility is not going to work with me to allow me to open my storage door. So the only thing that could be done was to load up the truck back up again and bring the load to my residence as I am fortunate enough to have a long gated driveway. Even though these gentlemen had been working all day, not one of them even so much as even looked annoyed or unhappy when I gave them the bad news that they unloaded so much only to have to load it back up due to my inaccessible storage unit. In fact, these guys simply reassured me again and again by telling me not to worry about it, that it was not my fault (even though it was of course!), it is no big deal, and that they are going to make it easy for me and get the job done no matter what obstacles arise. I was truly impressed with these young men and I hope to use and refer them and the whole Pro Movers team again and again and to all my friends and family anytime a move is needed. Thank you fellas!!! read more

Joe, Miguel, & Gilbert of Pro Movers were-by far- the smoothest part of our moving day. We hired them to move our office (which has been in the same spot since 2004). It was a big deal for us and a bit of a mess all the way around but one of the best decisions we made was hiring them. They were there on time at 9:00 a.m.; helped us pack left over items; and organized everything onto the truck. They were polite, professional, and efficient. We had large file boxes, file cabinets, random things we just threw into bags but they were extremely patient with us. To add, we also had some hefty office desks and lots of executive chairs. All of it was moved perfectly. Their prices were also the most competitive in comparison to four other companies. Couldn't be happier! Request those guys if you can. You won't regret it! read more

We arrived at our home out of state and Pro Movers delivered our households goods earlier than we had planned, which was fine. Jose and Rafael did a very quick job of unloading the truck and were very pleasant, so I have no complaints with them. However, now that the unpacking has begun, I'm finding some issues. A number of boxes were not labeled, with either a general idea of the contents or even the room which they were packed in, so that's been a challenge. The biggest disappointment is that several pieces of wood furniture were not wrapped/protected and ended up scratched - one piece pretty severely. It was a small table that belonged to my husband's deceased mother, so very sentimental piece. I doubt it can be repaired. A 4-poster bed, almost an antique also ended up with a fair number of scratches on the headboard. Other wood pieces, such as the dining table, china cabinet & chairs were wrapped and protected. The guys who packed really should have been more consistent and taken better care of ALL of the wood pieces as things get jostled in transport. We moved into a fully furnished 2nd home so the unpacking will take some time. I'm hoping that I don't discover more issues when get around to unpacking the china/stemware. They appear to have been packed well, so fingers crossed. read more

First off, I am rating the 2 main guys who moved us this time. They were Steve and Robert, The 3rd person that was there was like a temp and he was terrible and made more work for them! As a team though, these two guys are really good! They are fast, but respectful of your things. They boxed, wrapped, blanketed everything and moved our heavy furniture through small doors and down difficult steps! And did I mention they did it in 100 + weather!?! They were very polite respectful men and did a really nice job! They also had a traffic filled trip from Riverside to Palm Desert and I am sure a very long trip home to Santa Ana! Thank you Steve and Robert! read more

Great guys. I spoke to John on the phone and he was patient to accommodate our preferred date and time. We had Dennis and Davon help us move from our 2-bed apartment to a house. Friendly people. Took good care of our furniture (our furniture was not in great condition, but they took additional care to make sure it doesn't break). Overall, very cost effective. We scheduled with Pro Movers to move us from Irvine to Riverside. When we called they said we would need 6 individuals and two 26" trucks. They were scheduled to show up between 9 and 10am. Needless said they showed up around noon with 3 guys and one truck. The 3 guys that showed up appeared they wasn't ready to move anything let along 4 bedroom home. The lead guys asked to reschedule. At this point I didn't want anything to do with Pro Movers. Then they send out some young lady to a site visit. A waste of time. Not sure where they are getting four and five stars. These guys are excellent! Cameron and Xander handled my long distance move from California to Arizona superbly. Pro movers moved my son so quickly & did their best to not hit anything. Joe & Donovan were so fast & efficient, I think they should change their name to Lightening Express Movers. In particular, Joe was so careful, I thought he was the company owner. Overall, very happy with my son's move. Also, on moving day, they kept you up to date as to when they will be there. There were narrow staircases that they had to maneuver and so some minor nicks was acceptable. Thank you for a great job. read more

Was quoted $120/hr with a 3 hour minimum plus $20 for gas for a local unload of a 2BR unit near the Brea area. They were responsive and even called the evening before to confirm time and location. They gave an hour gap for an ETA which was reasonable. After 30 mins had passed their ETA window the day of, I gave the online number a call to which I was transferred to the customer service voicemail. Left a voicemail but never got a response. Wasn't able to get ahold of their office or the movers. The day was wasting away and during a move, every bit of time is priceless. Finally decided not to wait for movers and start unloading. I'm glad I didn't pay ahead of time because these clowns showed up 2.5+ hours late. They were unprofessional and had a shitty attitude saying "well we're here now". A simple call saying they were behind schedule would have been great, but they had poor communication to there would be paying customer. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Save yourself the headache. If you're looking for reliability, look elsewhere. They lost a $400+tip job in the end. read more

Friendly, quick, helpful movers. Moved two apartments into a 3 bedroom home. They weren't able to get all of our things on the first trip, which was disappointing and frustrating. Props to the latter team, Ben Josh and Luis, for finishing up the job. read more

We're not insanely impressed with Pro Movers. Did they get our stuff from one place to another with lots of stairs involved? Yes. However, we were severely under quoted and ended up paying over twice as much as we were initially told. We understood it would be more because of traffic coming from OC to SD, but twice as much?! Some of our pieces of solid wood furniture are now wobbly or scuffed. Both movers (Matt and Roberto) kept complaining about the heat or the drive time to us and we were expected to provide them with water and energy drinks, when we were just moving in and didn't have that ourselves! I think they were trying to get the job done quick and took trips to and from the truck that were too heavy for them, causing our furniture to become damaged. Overall, they were just fine. It was our first time having movers and not having to do it ourselves was amazing, but the quality of service was not worth the price in our opinion. read more

Entitled, Rude & Overpriced. They were anything but "pro". They showed up two and a half hours late and didn't even apologize for it. One guy (Jose) was taking personal phone calls whilst working for us, whilst the second guy (Peydon) was constantly complaining and making snide and rude comments to us (not even under his breath-straight to us)...he would leave our belongings in multiple places throughout our complex, all whilst whining that nothing was getting done. I actually started taking things from in front of the elevator to the truck myself so things were moving along and getting done. Fast forward 8 hours later of constant complaining about how much stuff we had and how long it was taking (all by Peydon)--when we get to our new apartment 2 out of 3 guys complained about how far our new place was from the elevator (isn't moving fun? ;) --thats why we HIRED help) At the end of the night when we get our bill, it is wildly higher than we were originally quoted and later we find out they overcharged us (but the manager won't answer the phone anymore or return our phone calls) but whilst we were attending to the bill, Peydon says " So how do you think we did today, we did a good job right? Like we didn't break any of your stuff? We busted our asses for you." I'm sorry, Peydon just said WHAT? When he hears we decided not to leave them a tip, he literally leaves in a huff and slams our door. Completely unprofessional, wildly rude from start to finish and made me so bloody uncomfortable the entire day. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL 100% REGRET IT. read more

Pro Movers took care of me in the finest way they moved me not once but three times and I never would use anybody else ever again. The person I went through the entire time was Jesse Jones he was very professional and human the team including his manager at one point led through several difficult moves. I appreciate the very greatly for their hard work delicate move with several very heavy and delicate pieces an end table the must have weighed hundred and hundreds of pounds and they got it upstairs with no problem twice I have a bed that is movable and I have a also a fireplace with glass enclosure everything they did just great no prob.
