I wish the responsiveness I had when trying to book my move was as prompt and helpful as to when something went wrong. This company doesn't care about their clients and the neighborhood they bring their business to. From packing their truck to taking care of their surroundings. I would NOT recommend using this company. The driver of the truck not only gave our NEW neighbors attitude when they were blocking their drive way, but took down half a tree on their way out of the cul de sac when they could have CLEARLY gone around and not damaged a 100+ year old oak tree. The complete lack of judgement and integrity from the driver is beyond me. They responded with no fault, no accountability and I am left to repair the damage done by this company. Not only just physical damage to the tree but now to repair the relationships I have yet to build with my neighbors and new landlord. I want the obscene tip I was pressured into giving back. Only one of the two men deserve a tip as I can tell he was new in the game and was working with the wrong leader. I am mortified such company would behave in this manner. I had to move right upstairs to a new unit right above my old one since there was a creeper looking into my windows for the downstairs unit past couple weeks and I demanded the apartment for me to move up. I have looked up Yelp and found this company for labor help so have decided to go with it due to good reviews. The set rate was $120 for minimum of 3 hours. Due to my back injuries, I really needed help. I got 2 movers and during the move, one of them got mad that I asked them to help me move my clothes that are not packed since I am only moving up a stair. He started arguing with me and told me they don't move things that are not packed, even though they only help me 1.5 hours so far within the 3 hours agreement. He started questioning why I am unpacking my things upstairs instead of packing my things downstairs and he was extremely rude to me. I have never encounter situation like this before where I paid for the service for labor and helping me to move and the worker started arguing with me. I recommend other moving company and I would definitely use other mover company for my June move again. read more

I heard TONS of horror stories about movers and spent a lot of time researching before enlisting Pro Movers and I'm happy to report that I had a great experience. Art and Dom were great with communication and I felt that their help was worth every penny. The men that came to do our moving haul were kind and considerate; however, they spent more time being friendly and chatty with us than they were actually doing work. I had another set of movers do the same, if not more, amount of items in 2.5 hours. Pro Movers took 4.5 hours. My fiance stayed with them at our apartment to help/watch them move the stuff (which were all packed away in boxes, downstairs, by the door, ready to go). I went to our final destination to do some quick cleaning to make it easier for the movers to drop-and-go. After about the end of the 2nd hour, I call my fiance asking what is taking so long. He proceeds to tell me that they're on a break. I totally get it. This is hard labor. Take your break, but not for multiple 10 minute sections throughout the time your customer is paying for. I'll pay for your one or two 5-min breaks, not five or six. After I hung up with my fiance, I call their number listed on Yelp to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor proceeds to tell me that we have two bedrooms so it will take longer than before. There was NOTHING new in that bedroom. All the items in there were the same items that were at my previous 1 bed apartment. After a long conversation of how unacceptable this was, the manager calls the movers and asks them to take pictures of the truck along with other miscellaneous things - all during the time I am PAYING for. The men were not happy that I complained and they were not as happy/friendly with us. In fact, they were rude and short. Understandable, but clearly not professional or customer service appropriate. Wait to kick and scream after you finished your job. Now that I've complained about their lack of efficiency to their manager, they started to rush &: - Proceeded to be harsh with items that CLEARLY say FRAGILE - Damaged furniture, damaged property - Did not place items in appropriate areas. They left things that said BATHROOM in the living room because they didn't want to go upstairs. Overall, their manager called me and apologized on behalf of his team. He agreed that they took long after viewing pictures and offered a $47.50 discount. I thanked him, and took the "best deal he could offer me." I paid the $600+ and carried on moving into my new home. The manager sends me the email and offers the $47.50 discount under the condition I do not write a bad review about them on Yelp. Jeez. I already paid $600. Take my $50 and enjoy my review. I still tipped them because I know this is hard work. I grew up watching people I love do the hardest work possible. I think it really depends on who you actually get. I would guess a number of different people work as movers and there may be high turnover. I have even read that these moving companies are like Uber just connecting jobs with workers. With all that said, we had an amazing experience. Two guys showed up in a jalopy at 9am on a Saturday morning. They looked like they had a late night. But wow did they do a top notch job. Excellent at fitting everything into the truck. Worked with good speed. We were moving our stuff into storage. They did an excellent job of fitting everything in. Ben, Jose E. And Brandon O. arrived on time and ready to go. They were very careful moving our furniture down an angled flight of stairs and put everything where we asked them to in the new place. They were pretty much done before the 3 hours we had them was up, so they moved all our potted plants and pictures - not really heavy stuff, but it saved us the trips. Then they tell Us they will Show up at 2-3pm and so We ended up waiting up until then and they still didn't show up and we called at least 10 times again until the manager picked up and swore and promised us they would show up at 5pm and now here we are once again at 6pm and they still Haven't showed up. So now we're going to have to wait a week for another moving company to show up To help. Pro Movers Inc is completely unreliable. Look at the other recent 1 star reviews on sites like Yelp, Google, and BBB. Don't let their online scores fool you. We booked a move in early May for today, June 26. They regularly messaged reminders over the past 1.5 months and even confirmed our 9am move last night. I received a call from Davin at 9am this morning saying he wanted to personally inform me they were understaffed today and he needed to reschedule me to 1pm and would send 6 guys and 2 trucks for the price of my scheduled 4 guys and 1 truck. I obliged. I get it. Stuff happens. They never followed up or reached out to cancel/apologize. Not a peep. No messages, no updates. Nothing. All calls go to voicemails. They answered the phone once and said they'd look into it and call me back in 30 minutes. That was 7 hours ago. I also messaged them on their customer portal. Two canned replies saying they're looking into it, then radio silence. They don't care about you or your deadlines. Their TOCs state if you cancel, they'll charge you. It also states they can cancel on you at any time with no ramifications. I called around and found a company with better reviews, cheaper pricing, and a commitment to their agreements. Thankfully I have an extra day of flexibility. Don't make the same mistake. Avoid this company and go with someone who cares. read more

This is the second time we've used Pro Movers. They are amazing guys and they always make moving seem more fun than it actually is. Charlie, Cameron, and Carlos helped us move out of our condo and into our new house. THEY'RE GREAT!!! They took care of our stuff like it was their own, and we really appreciated how quickly they moved everything despite our condo being on the third floor, a far walk from the elevator, AND the elevator was far from the moving truck's parking spot. They took every precaution to make sure they don't damage our walls and covered stair railings with blankets. They REALLY did an excellent job! I've been remiss in writing my review, but after having referred a co-worked for a huge upcoming move, and her questioning me on if this was the right business, I took a peek and see there's a couple of folks who have written seriously inconsistent and inaccurate reviews, and thought now would be a great time to set the record straight. I recently turned my condo into a rental and needed to pack and move my entire household to my beautiful new casa. In the middle of escrow, my father, who lives 350 miles away was diagnosed with end stage lung cancer, and my workload had increased with a new promotion to something along the lines of insanely busy. I was becoming overwhelmed and decided to just pay movers to do the heavy lifting - literally. I called and spoke with Brian, who not only explained the entire process, but provided a fantastic quote for prepping, moving and unloading a 2/2 condo located up 2.5 flights of stairs across town to a much larger 3/2 home. He also offered several convenient dates as available for the move. As I knew I'd be running back and forth from the central coast helping care for my Pops, and traveling extensively for work, and I knew the weather was just going to get hotter, I opted to move 6 days later. This was good and bad; Bad because I wasn't as prepared and packed as I'd like to be and even worse, because we ended up having a freakishly hot heat wave move thru SoCal that week. The good part: Because we got the job done quick, I had plenty of overlap time to clean and prep for my new tenants and spend precious time with my folks during dad's hospice care. The day before the move, crew lead Angel called to see if I needed any packing materials (they provide loaner wardrobes, stretch wrap, packing tape and blankets free of charge!). They also checked to see if we could start a little earlier in the day due to the heat wave. Unfortunately, my flight didn't land until 1:00, so we were only able to move things up 2 hours, but they were there on time and ready to roll with a 26' truck, furniture dollies and plenty of tie downs to keep my precious cargo secure. Oh...and the muscles of Peydan and Angel, who were not only very professional, but highly compassionate and caring. I had warned Brain and manager John I was a bit of an emotional wreck due to Pop's cancer and prognosis, and these guys were just fantastically understanding. Angel should probably become an auctioneer, as he'd explained the costs associated with the move had to be verbally gone over while he was on the clock, and would be speaking very quickly - boy - he was NOT kidding! Everything he covered was already in the written quote, but it did give me an opportunity clarify any questions I might have had and ensured I knew what all charges were for, how time was charged, and what charges and travel time were required by law. I was appreciative of the fact he spoke quickly so as not to burn time on the clock though. In the end, they were also SUPER fast, exceptionally careful with all of my property, and took extreme care in ensuring all items were well wrapped and secured. I have had two new refrigerators, a stackable washer & dryer set, and several pieces of furniture delivered by various vendors in the 4.5 years I've lived there, and every single time, either my items were damaged or the common areas were damaged. One company did over $700.00 in damage to the stairs and handrail it's such a tight fit! When all was said and done, thanks to ProMovers, I didn't have a single nic, tear, or scuff, nor broken piece of glassware - which is saying a LOT as one entire bedroom as packed full of collectible glassware and pottery inventory for my business I run on the side. I have well over 30K in inventory in that one room alone, and have been amazed I had zero loss with ProMovers. When it was all said and done, the move took 3.5 hours from start to finish - including peak rush hour traffic on a Friday @ 4:30. I was boggled - not only did I save at least $700.00 over the nearest quote, but the time and care with which Angel and Peyden took with my property, as well as the compassion they showed me during such a stressful time in my life were invaluable. I HIGHLY recommend ProMovers if you're on the hunt for excellent service at a fantastic price - and pssst!
