We had a huge move this last weekend. 3 bedroom house, and a two car full of stuff. I called Pro Movers after reading such great reviews on Yelp... And I'm so glad I did. From beginning to end, this company and these movers were amazing. I spoke to John for the initial consultation. He talked to me about their company, and why you want to go with a company that is licensed, bonded and insured. Thank you! Also, all of his movers are full time employees who have had background checks and properly trained to handle your belongings. I was sold. Then the day before the move, Jose called me to confirm the move. He walked me through the move day and what to prepare for, and what to expect. I asked about what my hourly charge included, and about any hidden fees. He said they don't work that way. They are straight forward and honest, and that's how they like to do business. And it was. Thank you John and Jose! Very professional and reassuring. The morning of the move, I received a call From Angel, the foreman in charge on the job. Angel went over every aspect of the job, and what i could expect from beginning to end. He also confirmed pricing and no hidden fees. Awesome! Angel, Matt, Max and another mover (I feel bad, I can't remember his name! Great guy!) arrived on time, with smiles on their faces and an eagerness to start. We went over the plan, having to make a drop at a storage facility and then to our house. Then they jumped right in. We were not as prepared as we should have been. We procrastinated on boxing things up, looked like a bomb exploded in the house. But these guys worked over and around our mess (and our 10 month old son!), and didn't miss a beat. THESE GUYS WORKED HARD... AND WORKED FAST. They worked for 5 hours straight, without even asking for a break. After a quick lunch, they dove right back in and finished the job at lightening speed. Not an easy move, but they got it done quick, and got it done right. They were very careful with our house, and with our belongings. I had an overall fantastic experience with Pro Movers!! The total experience is what needs to be measured. Sure the move is important but what happens before a box is lifted is important and must be evaluated. My experience started when I contacted the company and dealt with Queenie. She was great! About a week away from our move we had to change our date by a day. Queenie made it happen. Then on the day before our move Queenie phoned to re-confirm the times and to make sure of the pricing and payment procedures. It's nice to know that the company had called and asked about any issues or apprehensions we had before the team arrived. We had a great trio of movers in Eli, Gerson, and Frank. A 5-star rating doesn't mean that everything with the move was perfect, because in my situation it wasn't, but what move is? The drivers had a delay before the allotted time, so what did they do, they called me about 45 minutes before the scheduled arrival time and gave a me heads up. You know what? Those things happen. I give 5-stars to the team for being honest and forthright and keeping me in the loop. Eli, Gerson, and Frank were a great crew. I couldn't have requested a better bunch of hardworking professionals. They busted their butts and got the job done. They went above and beyond and made me a happy customer. They worked as a team. There were a few situations were they were having troubles getting some oversized items out of their respective rooms, so what did the pros do? they worked as a team and put their heads together and improvised and got those items out of my old place and into the new home. The only thing I would have done different is to have read Yelp more thoroughly! It wasn't until I was getting ready to write this review that I realized they offered a military discount. So if you fall into that category, and have served our great nation, make sure you let them know beforehand so you can save some money. Pro Movers recognizing military service is another feather in this firms cap! I would utilize Pro Movers again in a heartbeat! And I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to move their belongings. My first move with Pro Movers was great. I told them I was a single mom and really needed a company that was going to make this stressful move easy. I was told I'd get the same rate of $119/hr if I booked two moves with them. So I did that. First move was awesome. I left a great review for the movers. Second move was a nightmare because of the move itself and because I've had to call several times to follow up. Here's my story. The movers first of all arrived late, took about 30'minutes to get started. Didn't come with any packing materials despite me booking the job specifically to get my 220 sq foot studio packed and moved. When the stuff got to my new place, unlike the first movers who I wrote a great review for , these guys took breaks without telling me. I just didn't see either of them for large chunks of time while I unpacked boxes (which they were supposed to be doing but I stepped in because of how long things were taking. When I went to look for them. I saw them on their phones and smoking cigarettes. But this isn't all. When I unpacked fully I realized things were missing. I emailed pro movers to ask them if the movers forgot the items on the truck or left them at my old place. I was told they'd ask. No response or follow up.  I went back to my place and they had left drawers of stuff. So I moved that myself. Then when I unpacked one of my boxes, I saw they put the toilet plunger and toilet cleaning brush in the same box as my facial products and tissues and bathroom mat. I threw away expensive facial products. AND The bathroom mat had fecal matter on it. I called pro movers and was told I'd get some kind of refund and I didn't hear anything. So I called a couple times and finally today was told I'd get $200 refund. My move cost $960 ! In addition to this when I first booked my moves ( I did two ) I was promised the same rate of $119/hr if I booked both in advance. For the second move I had to spend time with pro movers on the phone because the deal agreement wasn't passed on and I was being charged more for the second move. This was not the smooth move I had hoped for and was promised after explaining that I wanted to choose a company that would make this stress free. read more

I can't say enough about how incredible Edwin and Aaron were during our move yesterday. In a world where moving can feel like a chaotic, nerve-wracking mess, these two were an absolute godsend -- professional, skilled, and genuinely kind from start to finish. They showed up ready to work and didn't miss a beat for nearly 8 hours straight. They knew things most movers don't -- like how to properly remove door hinges, and even how to collapse our bed frame (a feature we didn't even know existed) to get it through a tight doorway. It was like watching two masters at work -- patient, deliberate, and always several steps ahead. Now, let me tell you about the moment I knew they were in a league of their own: I forgot to take the eggs out of the fridge before they moved it -- two full cartons. These gentlemen loaded the fridge, transported it in the moving van, unloaded it... and not a single egg broke. I'm not exaggerating. I stood there in total shock -- no photo evidence because I was too stunned -- but I swear on everything holy, not one crack. That's how gentle and careful they were with every single thing in our home. They treated our belongings with care, but they also treated us with kindness. They never asked for anything, not even water. Of course, because I'm a human being and they were working so hard, I offered them water, burgers, Red Bulls, and some root beer to keep them going. But to be clear -- they would've worked through without a complaint. Their work ethic was that strong. They were friendly, respectful, and trustworthy -- and believe me, I say that with full awareness of how rare that can be in this industry. Our last moving experience was a nightmare -- we had someone actually steal from us. So to go from that to Edwin and Aaron was a complete 180. These two didn't just move our stuff -- they restored our faith in what professional service should feel like. We're so grateful for them. Truly. Not just for doing their job, but for going above and beyond in every possible way -- with grace, care, and good energy. Not even one star. Pro Movers is a Nightmare. These people are criminals. Beware. This business should be shut down.any permits or licenses they have should be revoked. I will submit a complete review in a few days but this is a warning . DO NOT USE PRO MOVERS. I moved 4 blocks . The move started at 11:30 and finished at 5 am. They were holding my entire art collection , Genelec studio monitors, peloton excercise bike on the truck because I would not give them a 40% tip each on a bill that was 400% over the quote. Solomon is a nightmare. When I confronted him about the phone quote he said " oh that's some stupid bitch in the Philippines.". He was throwing B&B leather furniture cushions unprotected off the truck onto the side walk. They all disappeared at 4 in the afternoon to slow down the work and add overtime. It was the worst most stressful experience of my life. They damaged so many things like fine art, computer monitor, VR goggles, They destroyed two dressers. At 5am they would not take my bed upstairs . I was screaming at Solomon the lead con artist that the job was not completed . They forged my signature on a contract that said I agreed to the final number . I threaten to call the police . I walked to see what they were holding on the truck to extort me. The owners are Russians and they are real con artists. The moment they have your property on the truck they have all the leverage . They will try every trick in the book. I could never get an update on where the quote was at. Solomon kept trying to get me to give him $1,000.00 for the tip and he would dispense the money. He was trying to screw the other labor. They drove off with a $7000 massage chair . I had to pay them an additional $1000 over the quote . The next day one mover and his girl friend who they outsourced brought it back in a pick up truck. They wouldn't take it off the truck unless I signed a waiver against all property damages and an additional balance which somehow jumped from $1600 to almost $ 5000. I loathe these people . Chase Bank is involved is the dispute. I am going to start legal action. read more

I hired Pro Movers for my recent relocation, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. One of the biggest issues was the constant fluctuation in pricing. The original estimate I received changed multiple times, and each separate team that showed up -- from the packers to the unloaders -- presented new or extended charges that were never clearly explained in advance. This lack of transparency created unnecessary stress during an already difficult process. Jose and Bruce , had a positive attitude and good work ethic.Jose, was one of the workers who helped load my furniture and helped improve the situation, however, the condition of my furniture after the move was also unacceptable. My dresser, which I had purchased brand new from Mathis Home just last summer, was chipped. This shows a lack of care in handling, which is something I had hoped to avoid by hiring professionals. Before the unloading even began, the crew handed me a handwritten note on a scratch piece of paper requesting an additional 20% tip, ranging from $330 to $450. This felt highly unprofessional and inappropriate, especially considering the service had not yet been completed. It gave the impression of being pressured or cornered into paying extra before any work was even done. The unloading team itself was another serious concern. One mover in particular, an older man, behaved aggressively -- cussing loudly, slapping my furniture in frustration at his coworker, and creating a very uncomfortable and tense environment right in front of me. This is not the kind of behavior anyone should be subjected to in their own home. While a few individuals tried to be helpful, the overall experience with Pro Movers fell far short of expectations. I hope management takes these issues seriously and addresses them to improve customer service, price consistency, and staff professionalism moving forward. read more

I moved on a wednesday, hired 3 movers ( Ross, Ryan, Jerry) - Went from Tustin to Laguna Hills. Pros : 1. Setting the appointment : Excellent. I called about 5 days before the move, had no problem getting my desired slot. I asked a lot of questions because my previous moving experience was a nightmare. He not only answered all my questions but gained my trust (I asked about supplies I needed to buy and he told me I didn't need them). There was a follow up call I received 1 day before to confirm my reservation. Nice. 2. Punctuality & communication: Excellent. I received a call from the driver 15 minutes before to give me a heads up. When they arrived they were really friendly and did a walk through of what I had and asked for any special instructions. 3. Friendliness and courtesy: Excellent I had my own friends and family come to help. They were polite to not just me but the whole group that was with me. If they saw me doing struggling to carry something, they would offer to help right away. 4. Speed and hard work: Excellent. These guys really worked hard. I'm an avid reader and I had over 30 boxes of books, all major appliances (i.e. fridge, washer dryer etc + I have 2 young kids with a lot of junk) Ross, Ryan and Jerry worked fast and smart to get things going. 5. Price, The end bill was really reasonable. I got an excellent rate @ $79 for 3 guys, pads, 3 desired items shrink wrapped and big truck. + 30 one time fee for fuel. Side note: So this company does charge double drive time. If they got rid of that policy, they would be perfect. haha. I'm not docking them down for that, that's what some companies do and some companies don't. They do communicate this in the beginning. I moved from my apartment to a storage unit yesterday because I am in between apartment leases ending and beginning. Staying with a friend for two weeks until I can move in, so I was extremely stressed about moving and putting things into storage and how to go about it. I found Pro Movers on Yelp and was impressed by the great reviews. Called about a week ahead of time and easily was scheduled in for a move set for 9am - 10am Sunday morning. Got a call around 8:30 am that they'd be there around 10 am. Angel and Corey showed up early, at 9:20 am (YAY!) and immediately asked me where they wanted me to have them park the truck, and began going over what needed to be moved. It was only one bedroom worth of furniture and they began immediately. They were done in about an hour loading the truck, and then followed me to my storage unit which I told them was about an 8' x 10' that I'd be setting up once we got there. HERE IS THE BEST PART! Not only were none of my belongings damaged in this quick and easy move, but when we got to the storage unit Angel let me know that everything would easily fit in a 5' x 10' stacked up and that I could save money by getting a smaller unit. These two guys were fast, friendly, and saved me money in the process which they didn't have to do with their advice. I am definitely using this company again in two weeks when I have to move again, simply because of how easy and fast they made everything. Moving is difficult and if you can pre-pack everything ahead of time and have movers move the heavy bulky stuff it really relieves any and all headaches associated. Also, always remember to pay in cash if you can AND TIP THEM! These two guys especially worked their butts off and all movers really make their money off of tips.
