The worst moving experience I have ever had. They damaged many of my furniture, lost a few boxes, and broke many items. After 3 months of back and forth, they still have not even been willing to have someone come and look at the mess they made and the damages they caused. May God continue to bless them. I was offered patience, kindness, and time to make my past-due payments. I gave Gabrielle, the general manager, a call to arrange for the delivery of my belongings and to make my final payment. The delivery date and time were decided. I loved that the Abraham and Martin wore a mask the whole time. They were very amicable. They worked well together and communicated amongst each other. They both took direction well. I felt like they appreciated my input and always made sure I was comfortable about where in the process we were or where they placed my belongings. Some of the cons: I got a call that there was a no show and had to wait to get a replacement guy which delayed the process by an hour. Ill start off by saying this was by far the worst moving experience I've ever had. I hired this company to unload two pods and move/assemble furniture. I Hired 3 movers and only two showed up. Then I got a call from a third guy, but he said his truck broke down...halfway through the move a second moving truck showed up with a 3 man crew...I honestly can't tell you what the hell was going on with this company... a complete mess! In regards to the two man crew that I was stuck with, the lead guy was on his phone the entire time and continuously would take breaks if we weren't watching over him...then he asked for a 15 min break after an hour of work. So really we had one mover. I will say the second guy was a hard worker and did his best, but the lead guy suuuuucked. The lead guy dropped a couple items and broke them as he continually tried to stack items on a dolly, but said because the items were not made of wood that they would not be covered... They half ass put our beds together. Our daughters' bed would have collapsed if she went to lay down on it...they just placed the slats down and then laid the box spring and mattress on top of the frame without screwing anything in. Our master bedroom had the bolts placed but nothing was tightened. It too would have collapsed if I didn't check it. The Majority of items were not placed in proper rooms and I personally unloaded one pod by myself in the 3 hour time frame that they unloaded the other pod. Because they "ran out of time" the majority of items were placed in the garage for me to finish moving in to the house. Heavy items like TVs included. Then came the final bill...they tried to charge us for three movers. The head guy was so full of it. He started saying that we had to pay for gas because they went over time and then said each guy gets a 15% tip. He tried to call his boss to confirm our pricing but conveniently nobody would answer the phone. Lastly, lead guy didn't wear a mask. I'd imagine moving heavy stuff while wearing a mask isn't fun, but felt that was important to include as well. To sum it up. Awful experience, complete rip off, literally hire any other moving company. read more

I had Roman and team. they went to work quickly and were efficient and diligent. didnt like one worker was smoking. pro movers subcontracted the work to comfy movers LLC. I thought it was odd they all spoke Ukrainian. cost was higher than anticipated. the move was 9 hrs and a little over 2k. at the end they pushed the google review and told me they would wait for tip through Venmo or Zelle. usually tip is given through the credit card. asked why couldn't tip be given through CC, said money would go to boss. made me uncomfortable with this. we zelle'ed the money to Roman. After sharing what happened to friends and family they agreed that I shouldn't accept their lousy $159 dollar refund. Mind you I ended up paying up to 1400$. They damaged my property, the used my personal items such as bedding, and couch covers to move furniture, they destroyed my couch which they state (I told them it was trash) how does that even happen? They broke my lamp, they misplaced one of our favorite plants (it was big, hard to miss) and they added so much anxiety to my day. Not to mention fear. I had to call my boyfriend for support. My boyfriend was in the bedroom when he heard Ryan telling the other mover "just pretend you're screwing it" when it came to my couch. During out 8-9 hours they were moving our items, one of the movers walked out and said "im ready to go home". That was my time and money! That I won't get getting back. It was a 30 minute pep talk between the two movers just for them to come back and damage the stairs of the previous apartment. At one point Ryan refused to speak to us because he states we are going to screw him over. This company trains their movers to move items one by one. To add up on the time and scam us that way. They had 2 hand trucks available to move our items but 1 by 1 was how they did it. At the end of the day they basically asked for Gratuity, pretty much added it themselves when finalizing the pay. I was not going to say no out of fear, a swastika tattoo was displayed by one of the movers. I'm not going to put myself at risk. To top it off one of the movers even took a sniff of my wine glass when he asked for water! Unprofessional. It took me about a week to finally get a hold of someone. I had to call from different phone numbers. They didn't respond to the email I initially sent. When I finally spoke to the office manager Davin he didn't seem to care at all. When we arrived at our destination, they were very good at asking where things should be placed. This is not the two movers fault, it was the due to the original crew not being able to come due to some truck issues and we had to be reassigned twice to other crews before someone was able to come out. I completed a move with Pro Movers on 5/16. To begin, with they were over 3.5 hours late at first saying one of their movers worked late the night before and then saying their truck broke down. I appreciated that they showed but the manager did become unresponsive as I was waiting for the movers to arrive. I sat at my storage unit in my vehicle for the 3.5 hours hoping for them to arrive which they finally did. The movers were quick and made the move from Huntington Beach to Oceanside smooth. My main issue aside from being late is that I believe I was overcharged and have yet to receive a call back from management. Everything took less than 3 hours which included the drive to Oceanside. I was charged for 5 hours for a 3 hour minimum. I understand you double the drive time so I should have been charged for 4 hours. I would hope for a response back but nothing. I wouldn't recommend based on how late they were and over charged. I was given a $50 discount and $10/ off per hour but considering how the day went, I don't feel that was sufficient. read more

Just had my 2nd move with pro movers. Again it was a solid and seamless experience. Tanoise (sp?) was one of my movers. I can't remember the other guys name. Both were extremely professional. They were efficient and got the job done in a timely manner. I was shocked at how much they were able to fit into my storage unit. My only issue was with the office. The woman I booked with didn't get the info correct. She didn't have my correct number and gave the guys all sorts of mIs information about my move. These movers tried to rob me after the move, and I had to call 911, and building security to have them escorted out of the building. I give you a very serious warning regarding these movers. If you're alone, or a woman, or have children, STAY AWAY FROM THEM. My ordeal with Pro movers started shortly after they began to pack up my apt, and fill their truck. I had 11 boxes, a bed/mattress, a wood book shelf, and a hand made dresser. I was moving 11 blocks, and thought that the move couldn't take more than 3 hours as I was prepared at both locations. The first half seemed to have started smoothly as the two movers told me they move large homes with very expensive furniture all the time. They showed me videos of other people's homes and all their belongings that were recorded to prove that they did great work. Even before they began they had me sign papers that said they weren't responsible for anything broken, and if they broke something I would be paid 60 cents on the pound. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?? After signing the forms, they told me it was customary to tip 50% or more, which I also found strange. Then they started the move. I had some things to pack while they moved me into their truck, so I couldn't supervise them, nor did I think I needed to. At one point, one of the movers came to tell me that a car had passed by, stopped, and tried to remove the large dresser from the truck. He said he fought him off, and that he was worked up should this would-be robber return. I asked if I needed to call someone, and the movers reassured me they had the situation under control. Also bizarre, but time was ticking. After they had finished loading the truck, I went ahead to my new apt waiting for them to arrive. I waited for two hours at the new location, and started to worry. Again, only 11 blocks. I finally got a call that they had parked and were beginning to unload. With each batch of boxes, it took longer and longer for them to bring stuff up, which I again found peculiar. As the last cart of my belongings came, A TOTAL OF 6 HOURS LATER, they asked me to come to see something that happened to my dresser. The middle door had been completely broken off. The mover said he could go to Home Depot to fix it and not to worry. By this point it was 7:30pm and I didn't want to have this continue into the night with strangers trying to fix a dresser in the apt I literally just moved into. As I'm looking at the dresser door that had been broken off, I realize they tried glueing the door back on, and that this was the reason it took 6 hours, we were waiting for the glue to dry. I asked them to call their supervisor to report the damage. The man on the other side of the phone, John, was on speaker phone. They said that the door had been broken off in the struggle with the would-be robber - a new twist in what happened to my dresser. John said he could give me 60 cents on the pound for the damage. As the piece was solid wood, it wasn't repairable. I didn't understand what 60 cents on the pound meant. Would they weigh the door of the dresser? Are they going to weigh the dresser? How would they calculate this? I knew that what ever outcome happened wouldn't be resolved for weeks, and decided it wasn't worth the hassle. I was tired, surrounded by boxes, and wanted to end this nightmare. I asked John if they could just remove the dresser to the trash on the movers' way out, and he informed me that this would be an additional charge. Yes, they wanted to charge me to remove the dresser they had just broken. I told John I would pay by credit card and take it up with them to see what they wanted to do. THIS IS WHERE THE STORY GETS CRIMINAL AND DANGEROUS. John, the supervisor and one in charge begins to scream profanities at me that I would do a charge back. John then on speaker phone instructs the movers to pick up one of my flat screens and leave with it as collateral so he could sue me. I told the movers that they were about to commit a crime while their boss was sitting at home. One of the movers took out his camera and began filming me as I tried to prevent them from literally robbing me. Again, very strange situation, and VERY SCARY. Standing at my door I called 911 to report a robbery in progress. The police alerted the building and had security come up to my unit. Security luckily came quickly and was able to diffuse the situation. At this point, I feel slightly safer as there are witnesses to what is unfolding. John, still being on the phone, tells me to pay the movers for the 6 hours and they'll leave. With building security still there, the movers now feel pressure to remove the dresser on their way out. So In closing, I payed $500 for pro movers to move 11 boxes, a mattress, and a book shelf. They destroyed a dresser, and then extorted money in order to leave. This was very scary and dangerous, and I strongly advise anyone moving to have your cameras readily available to document EVERYTHING. read more
