The first date I hired them for I had to reschedule because my shed didn't get delivered when it said it was supposed to be. I gave them 4 days noticed once it didn't arrive. So we rescheduled for the next week. Then, after hiring them to assemble a shed I bought from Lowe's they contacted me the day before installation and said that they didn't include the roofing. I really needed the shed built so I said ok even though I was also planning to have the roof done with it. Then later that same night (after 8pm) they texted me to let me know that not all of their guys could come out the next day to assemble and that he could still come out but that it would need to be done over 2 Saturdays. I have a disabled husband and dogs that make it difficult to have to have our yard unavailable for 2 Saturdays. So I said that I prefer they just come the next Saturday to be done in one day. He didn't give me a reason as to why his guys were unavailable either. So the next Saturday they come out at 7am as they had said. I had to wake up really early to make sure our dogs got time to use the yard which is difficult with my condition. They worked until 9am or so unwrapping the shed and laying out all the pieces and then ask to speak with me. The guy said that their coworker who has the nail gun was on vacation and that they couldn't do the job. What? You drove all the way out here, unwrap the crate and only now realize you don't have the proper tools? They said they tried to rent one from Home Depot but they were all gone. If that's the case you should buy a new one. When you say you are going to do a job then you should do it. Plus, it was forecast to rain in the next week so now all the wood was going to get wet. They already had canceled on me once and now they were canceling again? He said they could come out the next Saturday but at this point I wasn't confident they would. So I hired someone else who not only arrived and completed the project but was also willing to install the roofing. Canceling on me twice with less than 24 hours notice is unacceptable. Also, if you unwrap something and leave it out in the rain that is also unacceptable. Some of the wood was warped after and the new guy I hired had a difficult time with some of the pieces. I cannot recommend this company at all. My time is worth a lot and they wasted 2 weeks of it.

After just 2-3 texts, the owner came with 3 other guys scheduled for a Saturday at 6:30 AM. All of them showed up a bit earlier than that and they were out of my house by 10:45 AM. After reading that it could take a couple hours over the span of 3 days to assemble with 1-2 people, I was definitely surprised they got this done in so little time. One of the reasons I went with them is because it seems they've done so many of these models before (based on other reviewers' photos) so it was more reassuring for me to go with these guys. As you can see from my pictures, my gazebo turned out amazing. I even had an old torn up gazebo in place of that, and they were nice enough to help me tear it down. After the new gazebo was up, they cleaned up the backyard, organized the cardboard boxes for me to toss, and even placed my old gazebo to the side in a nice pile so it's easy for me to clean up after. JD Assembly is reliable, professional, and great to work with. Really glad I went with them!

I submitted my request online and received an initial quote of $119.00 (flat rate with no tax) for one cabinet. However, I clarified that my initial job request was assembling two IKEA BRIMNES cabinets and the representative apologized for the typo. Unlike few other assembly companies, Assembly Masters require (1) customers to provide their full address and phone number for order confirmation and (2) provide credit card information to secure the appointment. I later called their number where I spoke with Todd who was very friendly. He finalized my appointment and processed my credit payment payment over the phone. [Service terms and conditions]: Here are some key service terms and conditions to be aware of - * FREE street / validated or paid parking by customer; parking to be provided for Assembler * All boxes to be located in the desired area for assembly prior to arrival * Attaching Items to the wall is an optional service - added charge may apply * Moving items to another room after Assembly is not included * Empty boxes and debris are stacked neatly for disposal by customer * Assemblers do not haul trash/ boxes away after service is complete * Assemblers are NOT required to move existing furniture/ Items * Pictures/ Video of assembly are taken by Assembler for verification [Process]: The technician Alvaro arrived within 24 hours of my booking and within the 3-hour scheduled time window. I requested an antique hutch to be restored. Thankfully they waived the fee. I trusted that they would do a good job based on their portfolio. They were accurate in their timeline for the completion of the project and the resulting hutch looks fantastic, I have no complaints there. The main reason I am giving this business two stars is because their communication leaves A LOT to be desired. I asked for progress photos as they were working on the piece in their shop. They never sent pictures until I had to follow up and ask for them. They knew ahead of time that they were going to need to deliver my piece urgently because they were going to need all the space in their shop for their next project. Yet, they did not communicate this with me until the very last minute, what were they going to do with my piece if I was unavailable for delivery when they needed it gone? That seemed like poor planning to me. Upon the initial quoting of the piece, I specifically asked them to not only have the main mirror replaced by their third party, but also have the antique locks repaired. I provided them with a key that fit the lock to aid in this process. They returned my piece to me with not only the lock issue not addressed, but also with one of the cabinet doors not fully functional (which is not how it was when they took the piece at the beginning). I had to report this issue after they had already left. It was only then that he recommended I contact his third party locksmith to resolve the issue. His recommended locksmith (Sav-Mor Lock & Key) has been completely unresponsive, and I can't find other locksmiths who specialize in antique locks. I then asked Haer where is the key that I gave them when they picked up the hutch, and it was only THEN that they told me they tried to test the key in one of the locks and a piece of the key broke off and is STILL currently stuck in one of the locks (they also didn't specify which lock they tested either). I am extremely disappointed and frustrated because I clearly specified all my needs before they accepted the project, and now I received an incomplete service. They have also stopped responding to my communications completely, which I find outrageous and irresponsible. I also got the impression that working on my project was a chore for them, as if I didn't pay top dollar for them to give me their best work. Again, in terms of their actual craftsmanship, Jose (who I believe did most of the work) did a great job. However, communication is a huge factor in determining who I award my business to, and based on my experience I wouldn't feel comfortable trusting them with another one of my projects.
