First off let me say that the guy who I spoke to was very nice. Never had any problems with courtesy. However, service or lack thereof was terrible. The first date I hired them for I had to reschedule because my shed didn't get delivered when it said it was supposed to be. I gave them 4 days noticed once it didn't arrive. So we rescheduled for the next week. Then, after hiring them to assemble a shed I bought from Lowe's they contacted me the day before installation and said that they didn't include the roofing. I really needed the shed built so I said ok even though I was also planning to have the roof done with it. Then later that same night (after 8pm) they texted me to let me know that not all of their guys could come out the next day to assemble and that he could still come out but that it would need to be done over 2 Saturdays. I have a disabled husband and dogs that make it difficult to have to have our yard unavailable for 2 Saturdays. So I said that I prefer they just come the next Saturday to be done in one day. He didn't give me a reason as to why his guys were unavailable either. So the next Saturday they come out at 7am as they had said. I had to wake up really early to make sure our dogs got time to use the yard which is difficult with my condition. They worked until 9am or so unwrapping the shed and laying out all the pieces and then ask to speak with me. The guy said that their coworker who has the nail gun was on vacation and that they couldn't do the job. What? You drove all the way out here, unwrap the crate and only now realize you don't have the proper tools? They said they tried to rent one from Home Depot but they were all gone. If that's the case you should buy a new one. When you say you are going to do a job then you should do it. Plus, it was forecast to rain in the next week so now all the wood was going to get wet. They already had canceled on me once and now they were canceling again? He said they could come out the next Saturday but at this point I wasn't confident they would. So I hired someone else who not only arrived and completed the project but was also willing to install the roofing. Canceling on me twice with less than 24 hours notice is unacceptable. Also, if you unwrap something and leave it out in the rain that is also unacceptable. Some of the wood was warped after and the new guy I hired had a difficult time with some of the pieces. I cannot recommend this company at all. My time is worth a lot and they wasted 2 weeks of it. read more

I got the 12' x 14' Grand Gazebo Yardistry from Costco. I decided to get some quotes for getting this assembled and JD Assembly came through quickly and provided a reasonable quote compared with the others. After just 2-3 texts, the owner came with 3 other guys scheduled for a Saturday at 6:30 AM. All of them showed up a bit earlier than that and they were out of my house by 10:45 AM. After reading that it could take a couple hours over the span of 3 days to assemble with 1-2 people, I was definitely surprised they got this done in so little time. One of the reasons I went with them is because it seems they've done so many of these models before (based on other reviewers' photos) so it was more reassuring for me to go with these guys. As you can see from my pictures, my gazebo turned out amazing. I even had an old torn up gazebo in place of that, and they were nice enough to help me tear it down. After the new gazebo was up, they cleaned up the backyard, organized the cardboard boxes for me to toss, and even placed my old gazebo to the side in a nice pile so it's easy for me to clean up after. We purchased a 12x16 Meridian Gazebo from Yardistry with a mosquito netting assembly. I contacted Julio and we settled on a price for assembly. He came over with a crew about 2 pm on the scheduled day and finished at 8pm. They were friendly, and got right to work. I totally understand family emergencies, but having to wait a week is discouraging. When it comes to moving from one house to another it entails time constraints. Lifesavers! I purchased the Yardistry Gazebo 12'x14' from Costco. Had no comprehension of what I had just gotten myself into. I've been in over my head before and despite being quite handy, this was something that seriously required a professional approach. First of all I wanted it built three stories up, on the roof. nit the easiest ask. Needless to say it required a lot of effort and delicate work. Dave and his crew came out less than 48 hours after contacting them. They built it in 100 + degree weather. It was brutal. They started early and didn't stop until it was complete, perfectly timed with sunset. I live in downtown Los Angeles area and they drove from Anaheim on the weekend, on a Sunday. I don't think that was typical and I certainly wouldn't expect that of them but timing was right and I'm pretty sure that I lucked out. I had plans for the Gazebo that started on Monday. They built it on Sunday. I searched high and low and apparently there are only a few people in the state of California that are Adept at building this particular product and they happen to be one of them. There are many interlocking pieces that have to be aligned perfectly for the whole thing to be structurally sound. I watched so many videos and read so many reviews. Wasn't going to happen and I started to have a little bit of buyer's remorse. I would have been tinkering away at it for weeks, probably have involved all of my friends and I still would have needed to call a professional at the end of it all. Price was fair work was solid. Definitely cost a few bucks more than I had originally anticipated when purchasing but man oh man I'd do it again. read more
