I recently purchased two IKEA BRIMNES cabinets with glass doors (30 3/4" x 37 3/8") but only to…read morerealize they were too heavy (over 80 lbs each) to assemble on my own. I decided to hire a professional assembler again and opted to try a different company this time for comparison. [Quote and scheduling]: Assembly Masters do not list pricing information on their website. Customers must request a quote via the "GET A FREE QUOTE HERE" button on the website or by calling their contact number. I submitted my request online and received an initial quote of $119.00 (flat rate with no tax) for one cabinet. However, I clarified that my initial job request was assembling two IKEA BRIMNES cabinets and the representative apologized for the typo. Unlike few other assembly companies, Assembly Masters require (1) customers to provide their full address and phone number for order confirmation and (2) provide credit card information to secure the appointment. I later called their number where I spoke with Todd who was very friendly. He finalized my appointment and processed my credit payment payment over the phone. [Service terms and conditions]: Here are some key service terms and conditions to be aware of - * FREE street / validated or paid parking by customer; parking to be provided for Assembler * All boxes to be located in the desired area for assembly prior to arrival * Attaching Items to the wall is an optional service - added charge may apply * Moving items to another room after Assembly is not included * Empty boxes and debris are stacked neatly for disposal by customer * Assemblers do not haul trash/ boxes away after service is complete * Assemblers are NOT required to move existing furniture/ Items * Pictures/ Video of assembly are taken by Assembler for verification [Process]: The technician Alvaro arrived within 24 hours of my booking and within the 3-hour scheduled time window. He was friendly and well-prepared with his tools. Alvaro was able to complete the assembly of both IKEA BRIMNES cabinets in just over an hour. [Conclusion]: Assembly Masters provided a reasonable quote and completed the job efficiently. However, few areas could use improvement including (1) allowing customers to pay in cash or by credit card in person before the job begins rather than requiring payment over the phone, (2) listing clear service prices (or price range) on the website instead of requiring customers to request a quote, and (3) offering to haul away empty boxes instead of leaving them to the customer. Personally these are relatively minor issues, but another furniture assembly company I recently worked with managed to accomplish all three of these areas in addition to completing the assembly job. If these points are not dealbreakers, Assembly Masters is still a solid choice for anyone looking to save time assembling IKEA furniture.

We were looking to upgrade our kitchen sink and faucet, but our problem was that our sink cutout was custom. New sinks wouldn't fit without making a few cuts to our countertop. The plumbers we contacted were either really busy or really expensive (meaning they wouldn't want to do it unless it's really worth their time). His rate was competitive and it was a flat rate for the job. Through our correspondence, Elijah even downloaded the cutout template of the new sink to give us an estimate how much would be cut and what his rate would be for making the cut. On the day of the job, he came in prepared and he was very respectful of our time and space. We provided our new sink and faucet to install, and he recommended that we should upgrade our garbage disposal too since it was pretty old. He made this whole process really easy and we are enjoying our new sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. He is a jack of all trades, and we look forward to contacting him again for future jobs. They came to install a new PA system of wireless microphones and active speakers a week ago. This company is so DISORGANIZED from the time i spoke to the sales rep to schedule in person consult and install. They had me speak with 2 people before my appointment of which neither were the technician who came to do our install. The technician who came had a language barrier to speak fluent English and for our simple install he had to call another tech in guiding him to perform the service properly. Then the tech on the day of the appointment left to grab the brackets and cables required then took it upon himself to take a lunch break while he was out without informing us that he was going to have a lunch break as we waited patiently for his return to complete the work. Lastly, we called them a week later after completion of the install to ask them to advise us on getting the sound arranged for a more conducive sound experience because our speakers are only positioned for the audience to hear output and needed to have a solution for the performers to hear sound output as well for a professional arrangement l. This company COULD NOT even get a hold of a technician for us for a simple ask but instead kept giving us excuses WITHOUT a callback to discuss. This company is nothing but HEADACHES full stop!!!!
