Arthur first installed a king size Murphy bed for us flawlessly. We have since used him for many projects around the house including art tv install (and outlet behind it), in-ground door stoppers, install of bathroom hardware. He changed some LED can lights for us into pendant lights and had to actually move one of the holes. He installed string lights outdoors and did some minor electrical work for that as well. We needed that done within a few days notice and he came through. He is kind, polite, communicative, fair in pricing, and conscientious. Arthur was a civil engineer so he always takes his work to the engineering standard in which perfection and precision are essential. He would take extra time and effort to make sure that his work was done right in every aspect. He does his work as he is doing it for his own house. As a result, he does more than you would expected. Our existing range hood is too old and it does not have a venting system. We decided to install a new one with duct system. We send request to Yelp, some contractors responded that they can't do it because they are not able to install it without an existing venting system. Some came to our house and suggested creating a duct system above the cabinet without providing details. Arthur came to our house, explained in details what he would do, ensured us that he would not damage anything while measuring and checking, answered our questions and concerns. Before he left, he had already spent an hour in our house for just doing estimate. Other contractors would just came, spend a few minutes and left. When he started the work, he again spent time to make sure he had the best solution for the install. He would not allow any imperfection, even it's a small spot. Arthur fantastic! A modern day MacGyver. I hired Arthur to install a 30-lb chandelier and 8 LED recessed lights. We ran into electrical issues with both. While these were out of scope of the project, Arthur was determined to complete the job and complete it correctly. He fixed the electrical issue with the chandelier, and replaced the housing / cans for the recessed lights. He even went to Home Depot with me to select them and asked the associates there to give me a discount as well. Arthur has redefined customer services. No matter how long it took, he was determined to get it done and get it done correctly and safely. He even pointed out risk areas to review later as well. He also had all the tools required on hand so there was no issue he wasn't prepared for. Finally, he was incredibly polite, and respectful of the home ensuring he was keeping the work areas clear of debris. I'll be hiring Arthur again soon!
