Thieves. I am beyond disgusted with these movers. For starters, they were two hours late. Sasha was very responsive and attentive on updating me of the movers arrival. When they arrived, they seemed professional. However an hour into it, an off duty employee named Marvin, who happened to live in the same complex came on scene and said hello. I thought his demeanor was odd to begin with. The lead mover was mainly on the opposite side of the truck talking with the guy. He told me to go upstairs and do a walkthrough. They were almost done with packing up. Prior to going inside and checking I saw Marvin pull up in his white SUV. Again odd an off duty mover came over. When I came down he was gone. What was a 32 min drive took over an hour. They left at 1:55pm while I left at 2:10pm. I arrived 2:40, they arrived at 3:23pm. Contacted Sasha, she was sweet to inform me they probably stopped for lunch. The lead gave us the bill, which was 500 over the estimate, due to the double time of the drive. It took 2.5 hours to load, it should have been 2.5-3 hours to unload. We paid for four hours in the estimate. He took 45 minute off, unsure if it was due to me complaining about their 1:28 min commute to a place 32 mi and 35 min drive. Now that I'm going through my items. My 200 dollar swamp cooler is missing (just the tower portion, the base and remote were packed in a box I still have) I Submitted a complaint to the business. They got back in a timely manner. You're supposed to put trust in a company who is supposed to vet their movers and ensure they are operating with integrity. Never again. read more

Don't use this company. They destroyed 10K plus in furniture. They actually claimed they did the right thing folding my innerspring mattress, breaking it, and broke the thick glass on a very expensive dining room table. I filed an insurance claim through their procedures, and they laughed at me. Stay away at all costs. I don't know what these other positive reviews are about, but I would not believe them. If you run into trouble with these folks, you will get zero help or accountability. Stay far away In response to their response: This is incorrect Flat out Ask yourself, is this a company you want to work with? Who says your complaints are irrational and dismiss very valid complaints? also alarmingly sexist. - It was too late to finish the deliveries in one day because the company showed up 3 hours late - They didn't get full payment, initially, because they made an accounting error and undercharged me by about $300,. I think this was an honest mistake. However, they a asked for $300 tip, telling me that 10% per each of the 3 employees ( $300 ) was standard practice now. I was exhausted, and relented, since the bill was less than I budgeted anyway. When they told me I owed them $300 more, I asked the tip go to that, explaining the situation. they tried to use the fact that I gave a tip I was told was standard practice (like tipping at a restaurant, or now for grub hub and Uber and everything else that has changed about tipping after the pandemic -- I try to be a good person when I can be, so I tipped the requested amount because there was extra in the budget) to say that I was lying about the abysmal customer service and the broken items. I gave them the tip at the end of the first day, before I saw that any of hte damage had occured. After the damage was revealed the second day (that was the day with the table) the lead mover who had made so many mistakes, told me to "not worry about it" regarding the rest of the money owed. He knew how badly they had done. Considering they broke all of my stuff, and I gave them enough in total to cover the bill already, (if you include the tip which I asked to be transferred to the budgeted bill) I contacted them in February to file a complaint, did so within the correct time frame, and it took about 8 months and several phone calls for them to get back to me. They offered me $200 for $10,000 in property damage $.60 on the dollar is for accidental damage, not gross negligence Crating was never on the table! I told the team I was going to take the painting myself, but they *insisted* they could take it no problem, as-is. I noticed a few days later it was bent. Same with the table. They triple wrapped it in cardboard and secured it to the rest of the table. It takes extraordinary force (and negligence) to break a 1/2" thick 8 foot long glass table top clean in half. On the second day drop off was also late. Completely their fault. They truck showed up and it was chock full of items full to the brim thrown in pell-mell not secured to anything. They unwrapped the table, and it was split it two. - Purple makes multiple kinds of mattresses. This was a purple innerspring mattress that can't be folded. The assistant mover and I both told the lead mover not to fold it (and wrench it tight with straps) but he said that because it came in a box, it could be folded, which is true of *foam* boxed mattresses, but not *innerspring* boxed mattresses. It The owner refused to listen, flat out, and then wouldn't even consider the 3 other pieces of property (table, painting, and sofa) they damaged and were extraordinarily rude and dismissive. It was "oh yeah, prove it. So sue us" And I'm going to. YOU DO NOT WANT THIS DRAMA. THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE MESS. I went with them because I was tired, and exhausted, needed to move last minute, and they were the first ones to pop up on google. I had a bad feeling from the beginning (considering they had an oregon phone number to connect to California...) but didn't have the energy, and frankly, just blindly hoped I wasn't going to get scammed. Maybe they will be great for you. Maybe just as likely you'll get scammed. Don't mess with these guys. If anyone is considering hiring them, message me. I will send you every one of those emails. They say they have recordings of phone conversations, and if they do, it's illegal because recording conversations without consent is illegal in California. I'm pretty sure this is one of those companies with an online presence that is actually 3 guys in a garage getting away with what they can. They operate out of Santa Ana but somehow also do moves in Oregon? Show up 3 hours late one day and 1 hour late the next, items bobbling around in the truck, and and have movers who don't know anything about crating, how to move mattresses. Look, you can go with these jokers if you want to take the risk with your time, energy, and possessions. It's on you. I don't recommend it read more

We scheduled a Saturday morning move with 2 movers. Both inexperienced and confused. The move should have taken 2 hours to pack, 1 hour driving and 2 hours for unloading. Budgeted for 5 hours and $50 tip if happy. I wasn't. After 3 hours and truck not packed correctly, I went out to see what the problem was. They had furniture still outside the truck and shaking their heads. I couldn't believe it but helped and tried to use this as a teaching lesson. I helped remove half the truck to load it correctly. After another hour and a half it was finally loaded. The lead mover said that he would credit me an hour because it would have taken at least 2 more to finish. When we arrived at new address they were careless with furniture and chips/scatches. When the last item was removed he called in the job. He said the bill was $1600 including overtime and wanted me to sign on his cracked up phone screen which I could not read. He asked for me to sign anyway. I refused and asked him to call supervisor (actually owner). I complained about the damages to items and that I had to lead in helping load the truck or another 2 hours, his response was, "We didn't ask you to help." I signed because they already had my debit card on file. I called the next day to complain about the condition of my furniture. Response was to fill out a form and would take 6 months to reconcile. A call came a few days later that a repair worker would come to fix things. He never came and no calls returned. They also lied about pricing. I gave them a "1". Because "0" was not an option. . Worse service ever. Please don't go through what I had to. Try a different service for your own well being. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. If I could give no stars, I would have chosen that for a rating. I hired Pro Movers to handle my move from a storage unit into my home. My move was not completed. The movers did not assemble all furniture, TVs, and they refused at the house to move my washer and dryer into the laundry room. My washer and dryer are currently sitting in the garage and I cannot use them. In addition, the driver took my son's credit card (who was not on the contract) and overcharged him an additional $339.00 The "Operations Manager" sent me a text stating they would reimburse my child's credit card for the additonal charges, but to date, has not done so. In addition, when my items were in storage, I had purchased 36 brand new moving blankets for protection while in storage. The Pro Mover driver took 35 of them. When I asked for them to be returned to me, the "Operations Manager" said he would get back to me, but to date, has not responded. The driver and 2 helpers took over 10 hours to take my items from a storage unit and partially move the items into a 1800 sq ft home. (everything was already shrink wrapped and protected with blankets. I recommend you look elsewhere for a moving company. I am in the Inland Empire area. Moving is not an easy task, however this company's driver traumatized a family, They were horribly unprofessional. read more

I hired them to pack and move me. When they showed up, the lead guy was unaware they were supposed to pack me up, so brought NO packing material with them. He had to go back to the warehouse to get packing supplies. It was def. an error on their part, as one of the other guys on the moving crew was like "yeah dude, its a pack and move". Yet somehow packing materials never made it on the truck. So on MY DIME he had to go get packing supplies. Secondly, they didn't bring enough small boxes, or moving blankets. Lastly, the guys weren't great at reading labels. For example, I had a whole pile of stuff labeled "stay" or "leave" that was suppose to stay in the old house. Guess what got brought to the new house. Lastly, they removed a door to fit furniture through it. I asked them to be sure to put it back on the hinge. They left w/o telling me, and didn't put it back. I had to call them and be like "come put the door back on for me". Not a great experience. I move every few years, and this crew wasn't the best. Only one item was broken (that I've discovered so far) and they put a pretty big gash in one door frame. They also left their trash (drink cans) in my garage. They also forgot a dolly at my house and have to come back and get it. read more

I had a two man crew help my wife and I move our items out of our 1100 sq ft condo. Vincent & Jesus showed up, masked up, and got everything squared away like pro Tetris players. They wrapped items carefully, moved it as best as they could so they wouldn't get damaged and got me in and out to my storage location within 4 hours. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Long story below, but worth it to see what the experience is and hear what it might be for yourself. Here's my nightmare of being moved with this sham of a company. First, in order to inquire about costs about a month before we moved, I called Pro Movers to see what an estimate cost of my 2bed Apartment move would be. I clearly spoke of each item that would be needing a move, and I confirmed this via their website portal. The guy on the phone said it would be a simple move, likely not requiring more than 2 guys but that was "my call." He said it would likely take between 3 and 5 hours at 150 an hour, but there is a 10 dollar discount to do it with cash. Seemed reasonable, so I booked. The guys show up 20 minutes late but still "start" the clock at the original agreed upon time. So I got to pay for them being late. They start slowly gathering my belongings after I told them what needed to be moved and marking each piece to make it easy. One of the guys when to the bathroom in my apartment at least 3 times for 15 minutes each time while the other guy loaded boxes. I ended up moving most of my stuff that I had listed and disassembling my furniture because I noticed it was taking forever. They loaded my stuff and started driving over after 6. Hours. I call pro movers and the very rude customer service representative basically said "tough ****, you're responsible for however long they take." wonderful. What was supposed to be 5 hours max ended up being 9.5 hours and costing nearly double what I budgeted for. Now, here is how this move went from costing me several hundred to several thousand dollars. Three major pieces of furniture were broken during the move- A dresser's foot was broken off as they were carrying upstairs (they tried to cover it up but I saw them do it), a support bar in the center of my entertainment center broke off and now the whole thing bows in the middle, and my couch was dropped and a piece of wood broke inside of it. I called the company and inquired about the insurance as that was a selling point the guy originally gave me over the phone. Turns out, they do the bare minimum, which is 60cents per POUND of merchandise damaged- you have to fill out a form and send it via certified mail to their address, and they can contest it. So even if I went through the hassle of submitting the claim, I would be able to recoup like 80 bucks at most. This includes the box that mysteriously has gone missing- it was with all other boxes that they moved and labeled "office electronics." that was the ONLY box not delivered by these guys and contained well over 5k in electrical engineering equipment along with some videogames and other moderately valuable electronics. I called several times trying to hunt down this box, and the GM finally called me back about a month after trying to hunt this down and they told me I could sift through their 'lost and found,' which is a MASSIVE warehouse with hundreds of generic boxes and other things that just sit there. He told me I'm welcome to look around, but it could have taken an entire day or more to thoroughly look for my box of stuff. Please don't give business to these people. They are extremely unprofessional and have no business moving other people's valuables. Even though this move happened 6 months ago, I often find myself looking for something that didn't make the move because it was in that damned box. I am filled with incredible regret every time I think about this nightmare of a move and look at another several hundred dollars leaving my bank account as I replace missing goods from the shady movers that moved my belongings. The 1-star stories are true :( 1. Found out during the move that driving time is doubled. In total, the day was from 10 AM to 4PM, which is 6 hours (this included the time it took to get to the new place). They added a 1.5 hours charge on top of this for the time it took to drive to the new place. They said it took 1.5 hours to get to the new place so that's 3 hours total transportation time. WTF? I'm still scratching my head at how i was responsible to pay 3 total hours for driving time. 2. I was told that I would be able to make a partial payment with cash, the rest on card, and still be able to take advantage of the cash price special but only if at least half of the total is paid with cash. The foreman somehow voided the rule so that he could pocket more tip. I ended up paying under half of the total with cash, and paid the rest on card so that he could pocket the rest of the cash. It was very manipulative. 3. Their truck could hit a max speed of only 40 mph lmao! So the "double travel time" was definitely milked, which fed into the overrun of billable hours that ended up costing more than I expected. Their business model is very scammy. I should have listened to the other reviewers. There was another company that I got a quote from and was on the fence about choosing. Should have chosen them :( Edit: just plugged my TV in and it is broken. Do not trust these people with your move. read more

He offered more money if I took down my negative reviews. I refused. Update-10/5/2022: This company flagged my reviews and had them removed because I did not accept their offer of $50 to take down the review. I have correspondence, emails, phone calls, and text messages from employees that all work with these companies. Also, I have email exchanges with employees (John Rose, John Romero) representing different company names that sound similar, (promovingusa, promoversoc, Pro Moving & Storage LLC). Original review (10/2/2022): To start with the only positive aspect of this moving experience, I would like to mention that the movers did a great job of packing and unpacking my belongings. However, I would not recommend using this company or any company with a similar name for any move for the reasons listed below: - It appears that there are multiple companies with similar names that are all run by the same people. The reviews are drastically different for each of these "companies." - The only points of contact I have had with the company are John Rose (manager), John Romero (Manager), Victor, and Davin. After the quoting process, I was not able to speak with any manager. John Rose was supportive during the quoting process, but he and the rest of the management team seemed to disappear once payment was submitted. - Once my items were picked up, I never received any status updates from this company. I called, emailed, and sent text messages countless times with no response. The only person I was able to speak with was Victor, and his response was always, "the managers will contact you, there is nothing I can do." - Upon pick up of my items, the delivery team indicated that my items would most likely be delivered the next day (I paid an extra fee for 1-3 day delivery). I heard nothing until 6pm on day 3. I was only given a phone call from the delivery team 45 min before arrival. - For pick up and delivery, the crew only consisted of two people. It took them 4 hours to pack and 4 hours to unpack my items (small 1 bedroom apartment). - I signed a contract with an agreed upon quoted price which included a discount. Before delivery, one of the crew members contacted me and indicated that he would need to be paid an amount that was higher than the original agreed upon quote. I told him that I have the contract indicating the agreed upon amount. However, he essentially threatened to not deliver my items unless I pay the extra amount of money. I asked for an explanation of why there was a discrepancy between the original contract and the newly quoted amount, but was never given a reason aside from "there is no one in the office right now and the management team required this amount." - Since I wanted to regain possession of my items, I paid the higher amount that the company requested but also received in writing on company letterhead that I would be refunded the difference. - I have called, sent text messages, and emailed the company following up on my refund multiple times since the drop-off date with absolutely no response from anyone. - Since the drop off, the only people I have been able to talk to are Victor and Davin who repeatedly indicated that they cannot help me and promised that someone from management will get back to me. Over three months later (move date was end of June 2022), I still have not heard back from anyone. - To make matters worse, many of my items were damaged and/or missing. - Due to the damaged items I filed a claim following the company's policy, and they agreed to compensate me with a very low offer. I accepted but have not received the funds that are owed to me. It appears that once this company receives their money they choose not to respond. I have exhausted all methods of communication and have gotten nowhere with them. I highly recommend not to do business with this company or any company with a similar name due to the extreme unprofessionalism and lack of accountability. read more

All I can say is that I saw all the great reviews and was hoping for the same, unfortunately, I wasnt that lucky. Please be very careful who you choose to move your valuables, my experience was a disaster. First off I want to say initially John was very helpful, I did need to reschedule once because of an issue I had. They were helpful with that. But scheduling the second date, I had confirmed on 4/24/23 with John. I continually got calls pressuring me to change the date and move it up, but it didnt work for me. After that time i could tell they were getting agitated. The problems really started with Sam, their operations guy. Since I had coordianted with John on 24th, but Sam on an earlier occasion on 21st, I was under the assumptiom that the 24th is what we planned on. Nobody called me a day or two beforehand to confirm, so I assumed the 24th it was. Morning of 21st the movers called me and said they were a few minutes away. I was a little surprised and tried to work it out with Sam, only to get this verbal lashing (see screenshots below, do you want this person handling your valuables?) So I emailed John again asking for a refund of my deposit, and after getting a verbal lashing from him as well, was only offered half my deposit back. No thanks. I tried to work this out before writing this post, but there is no reasoning. read more

These guys didn't actually move our stuff, but they tried. We'd hired another company who contracted Pro Movers. The other company didn't communicate how much stuff we had and promised double the truck and men. The two guys that showed from Pro Movers did their best to fix a situation that was out of their control. (We would have switched to them but as subcontractors, they could have gotten sued. So, hot tip when it comes to moving: make sure the company you're paying doesn't subcontract out. If they do, you're better off a team like Pro Movers directly.) DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Before the move they made is so easy but after we paid it was HELL. I was out of town and needed them to move my stuff 1mile from my house to the storage unit for 500 bucks. I still paid cause reviews were good but after I flew home 3 months later to check on the unit SO MUCH STUFF WAS BROKEN AND FURNITURE WAS ALL SCRATCHED UP. They were SOOOO careless with my stuff and the workers left their trash and lunch in my unit!! Also they were suppose to mail the storage key to my in-laws and they never did which made me think they stole all my stuff so I HAD to fly home. We texted them, called them, emailed them and NO ONE ANSWERED FOR MONTHS!!! We are trying to get a refund cause of all the damages now and they still aren't responding in a timely manner!
