I was greeted by the employee at the cashier station as I entered the store. She asked me if I was familiar with the layout of the store and I told her I was. She them told me to just let her or one of the other associates know if I needed any assistance. I made my way over to the Men's Shoe Section and began looking for a pair of dress shoes. I found a really nice pair of Florsheim shoes that was almost $30 off their regular price. I said, "Sold!". I was really surprised the store was not busier this close to Christmas, so if you are not one who likes crowds, this may very well be a store you might want to check out!

I ran my first local 5k race this morning and managed to come in 4th overall female and 1st in my age group. I immediately thought, "NEW SHOES would have made podium!" I was 9 seconds from it. My trainers were so worn out. I feel like I just purchased them but I've been using them for my runs and walks and knew it was time for a new pair. I walked over to Fleet Feet this afternoon to inquire about new insoles and shoes. Fleet Feet Plano provided the BEST service!!! We did a few measurements and reviewed my analysis then went over several options. The shoe I've ran in for years, a different model and a shoe with a larger toe box I'd wanted to try. Once selecting a new model we moved onto several insole options. I'm a Brooks girly through and through and stuck with this brand but a different model this go around. New city, new shoes, new model, new insoles! She's ready! Maybe in the coming months I can squeak out an overall 1st 2nd or 3rd haha ;) If you're in need of a great new shoe, you absolutely should come into this store. Highly recommend. The next morning I was at the store and it had to be one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had. I arrived before they opened and while I was waiting I got an email stating my order was ready. I went in and went to the specific counter and they quickly processed some information I needed to fill out and I was done. I was in and out in 15 mins. The only reason it even took that long was I was looking at a few things. They have a great selection of sporting goods. Camping gear, clothing, firearms, even knives are plentiful. All the associates were very friendly and helpful. Store is super clean and well organized. Scheels blows sporting good stores like Bass Pro/Cabelas out of the water. Highly recommend this store.

My…read moreissue is with a fitting room policy that makes absolutely no sense from a customer's perspective. I walked into the fitting room area with three shirts. The employee counted them which is completely reasonable. Then I was told I could not enter because they were not on hangers. I explained that I picked them up from the sales floor without hangers and asked for three hangers. They gave them to me but then told me I still had to place every shirt back onto the rack outside the fitting room before I could go in. So I had to hang the shirts on the rack outside the dressing room just so I could walk inside and immediately remove them again. There was no purpose to it other than creating extra work and slowing the process down. As I was leaving I watched another customer get stopped because she had not rehung her clothing before exiting. Customers are now expected to do work that fitting room attendants have always handled. Retail stores are competing with online shopping where convenience is everything. Policies like this make the in store experience slower more frustrating and less enjoyable. I hope someone at the corporate level reevaluates whether this policy is actually helping anyone because from a customer's perspective it only creates unnecessary inconvenience.

My campus has not yet taken pictures to issue the new ID's. Either give teacher discounts or don't. They could have easily found my name on my schools staff page.
