I would have given my experience just one star but the actual house cleaners were on time and sufficient. This business is receiving such a low score because of the person in charge of facilitating the cleaning. We had our home on the market and were planning an open house in about a week or two so I began researching different house keeping companies that could make my home extra sparkly. I came across Priority Maids since they were a local business and offered a modest discount. I scheduled a cleaning date, but as the date approached I tried to reach out numerous times and I had trouble getting confirmation. In fact, communication stopped. I was stressed since the open house was only a couple days away and I had turned down so many other offers for cleaning services and now it was too late to find someone else. On the scheduled day, the cleaners did arrive thankfully, but told me there was no way they could clean my house in 2 hours. Mind you, my house was not a mess, I just needed a good clean to make it open house ready. I was frustrated since I told Christina (the person in charge of setting up appointments) what I needed to be done and she told me the allotted time would be fine. The cleaners offered to come back the next day which was hard to work into my schedule, but they told me I would have to set it up with Christina. I tried calling her to no avail. They also tried calling her with no luck. The cleaners did in fact show up the next day and did a decent job. Hiring a cleaning service in this situation should make one feel less stressed not more stressed as I felt. Being left hanging and uncertain is the last thing you want to experience. I even tried to reach out to Christina so many times to make my payment and she still didn't return my calls or emails. When she finally got around to it, I happened to be on a short vacation. It was then that she blasted my phone asking for payment and not even acknowledging the fact that she had been so hard to reach. No apologies were given. She should not be the point person for this business. read more

We've been using Berta and Olga as our cleaners for almost 2 years now and could not be happier. We love coming home on the days they are cleaning because we know that our apartment is going to look great. They also listen whenever we have notes on areas we would like to be focused on like making sure the guest bedroom is ready for people to stay over or making sure the balconies get extra attention after a storm. Just had my Studio Apartment cleaned using Priority Maid for the first time. 2 hour cleaning with a first time discount rate of $28 per hour using 2 Maids. They were on time and called me promptly when they finished after 2 hours. Even stayed an extra 5 min to make sure they had cleaned up. I had a list of things for them to clean and they thoroughly did it ALL! I've used other services who do the bare minimum so really seemed like they went above and beyond even cleaning my microwave which I didn't even ask them to. This review is long overdue. Once I found out that my aunt had breast cancer, I knew I had to do something. Since she'd be weak from all the chemo, I decided to get her a cleaning. Even though I live in Northern California, it was easy to schedule everything with Christina, the office manager. They did an amazing job, so I scheduled another cleaning with them after my aunt's last round of intense chemotherapy. Unfortunately, my aunt was pretty weak from the last round, that she was unable to answer the door during the scheduled second cleaning. There was a $45 cancelation fee that Christina graciously waived for us. I really appreciated that gesture and heart of customer service during this difficult time for our family. Thanks, Christina! This review is for my interaction with the office manager Karina. I did not end up using this service however she called me twice and left me a very unprofessional and rude voicemail. Not sure if they speak with all of their potential customers like this but that is completely unacceptable. Also, I never confirmed services , never Gave my card for the deposit and they still had the maids show up to my place at 6am. Confirm services before you send people So early in the morning!!! I was very impressed with the amazing cleaning job Elizabeth did on my studio. The tenant had lived there for over 5 years and over the years dust collected on the window edges and room creases. The bathtub, toilet and sink were stained to the point that I thought I would have to replace them. Elizabeth worked her magic and got the stains removed (there were a couple spots that are beyond removable but she sure did try!!) and there's no more dust or dirt on the walls. I would highly recommend this company to my family and friends and plan to use Elizabeth for any future cleanings. I have a four month old, a toddler, an older child and three dogs and I was getting way behind on cleaning, Our house was a mess. I finally decided that I needed help and decided to request quotes from several cleaning companies here on yelp. Priority maids was the quickest to respond and ended up being the most reasonably priced for the services offered. Based off of their reviews I decided to give them a try. I scheduled a time but was contacted at a later time and told that the cleaners were not going to be available at that time. I was given the option to schedule a different time for that day or was told they could try and find someone else. I went with a different time slot and was given a discount for the inconvenience. They have wonderful customer service skills. Very friendly, courteous and helpful, The cleaners arrived on time and got straight to work. There was definitely a language barrier as they only spoke Spanish and I only speak English. However I was able to contact Christina and have her communicate between us, They were friendly and kind. They were very nice in interacting with my children and dog. They did a VERY thorough job. I was very impressed and did not expect the cleaning to be as detailed as it was. I can't remember the last time that my house looked and smelled this clean. It's been a while. I think I am going to have them come monthly because I could really get used to this. Overall this was a great experience. The service is worth the money spent. You will not be disappointed. Priority maids definitely take pride in what they do and it shows. Management is hard to work with . I paid the maids in cash before they left and Apparently they lost the money I gave them so I was charged (overcharged) on the credit card I left on file. It's over a week now that I've been waiting for my refund and I'm very disappointed. read more

Do NOT use them!!!!! I scheduled a deep clean for a move in for our new house. Just wanted everything cleaned fresh and washed. You know, others peoples stuff, I just wanted to move in and it be clean. Well, the couple was nice. BUT, they did not do a good job. At all. I asked for all the cabinets to be cleaned inside and out. They wiped them down but the cabinets were still sticky outside. They didn't wipe down the fridge. Didn't clean the ceiling fans. Didn't have a mop(my house is all laminate flooring). Just didn't do a good job at all. On top of that I was over charged. Supposedly $30 per hour per person, 2 people. Supposedly they worked 1.5-2 hours, should be around $120 the most, right? I was charged $224. Ohhhhh, and the dropped some blinds and didn't put them back up. Also broke a baseboard and didn't bother to fix it. And I never got refunded the balance back to my bank account. NEVER AGAIN will I use these people! They said my house was in really bad condition?!?! Lol it was just painted and they lady who owned the house prior was older and single, was in excellent condition. All lies. Don't use them!!!! Carmen did an amazing job on a deep clean of our 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. Everything was perfectly done and her clever rearrangements of the things you keep in the shower and by the kitchen sink made so much more sense that I wondered why it wasn't obvious to me before.
