I LOVE PRIMO. I HATE this Primo. Went here recently (only my 3rd time here) and I knew in advance I should have went somewhere else. Order a Primo Buffalo Cutlet. Talk about bad!!! They clearly do not follow the Primo recipe here and poured on way too much buffalo sauce. This sandwich was basically bread covered in Buffalo sauce with some chicken. As for the chicken, I also didnt like the fact that it came out burnt in some parts. I get the sign they have up that says SOMETHING along the lines of our Chicken sandwiches are made to order so thank you for the wait.... but man, for the wait, this place is no where near as good as some of the other Primo's I have been too. Will not go back. Will drive to the Ewing store instead - they know their stuff there and there is no wait during a lunch crowd. Oh, it doesnt help that the staff is semi-rude too, but whatever - make a good sandwich and I will not be concerned about that. This place needs a good franchise visit and re-training. read more

NO SESAME ROLLS The whole point of going to Primo is their amazingly good Sesame Seed Rolls... But this Primos does not have them. I've ordered from there tons of times, and they only ever serve sandwiches on cheap, soft, white rolls. They're screwing over their consumers to save a penny... On top of that, I had to deal with an older italian gentleman (most likely the owner/manager) carrying on a conversation with someone else the ENTIRE TIME he was ringing me up. It's so hard for me to write this review, because I'm literally sucking back drool. The pickles.... the macaroni salad... the potato salad... I didn't even get into the sandwiches yet. OMG. YUM. One of the best hoagies in the area - and in my opinion, their best sandwich tops the very popular Hoagie Haven's hoagies. Most importantly, though they are a chain, this store does not have a chain feel to it like Quizno's or Subway. Immediately noticed is the large menu to choose from. Their highlight is their unforgettably good seeded crusty bread. The must try, #1 item for Primo Hoagies is the "Schwartzie", best hoagie I ever recall eating... A very nice plus is their selection of fresh side items (salads, cheeses, puddings...etc) which are delicious as well. Despite all the mixed reviews, I wanted to check this place out. Location has a private lot and you can park in the front or the back of the store because it has two entrances. They have all kinds of sandwiches to choose from but I did not feel rush to place my order. I placed my order and paid once it was done. I ordered a primo ham and cheese diablo with lettuce, onions, tomatos, and vinegar. As you can see in the picture I posted, it was a nice size. Well I was able to finish 3/4 of it and I was stuffed. It was very good and taste way different then the other subs I have eaten. Would I repeat? Yes. Why not Five Stars? Sub was $8.50 not including the soda and chips which came out to over $10. I agree with Arthur P. I like Primo's but this location sucks!!! I went around 12:30 today and ordered a small Mild Sharp Italian. It took about 15 minutes to make and it wasn't like it was mobbed in there. When I did get it, they made it on a regular roll not a seeded roll. It hardly had any tomatoes and the cheese was cut really thick. It was not what I was used to. Also, the bathroom was really dirty, like dirt on the walls dirty. The tables were all dirty too. Probably the best Italian sub I've ever had in my life. And it's not really close. That's taking into account the subs from Graham Avenue Meats and Deli. IT'S NOT CLOSE. Primo makes that place look like a Subway. The NY food snob in me always just assumed NY had the best of everything. But honestly I would let this place cater my wedding. It is simply amazing. The ingredients are top notch. The bread is fresh and perfect. And they have like a 5 man team work on making each order so even the most complex subs are made quickly and with precision. I really do like Primo but this location is not a gem. Hours aren't great on the weekend. Staff has been rude on multiple occasions. Service was anything but friendly. Final straw was a recent visit where they should have been open but upon arrival there was a sign on the door window saying closed... cool, you want to give your employees an early closing then put it on your voicemail at the store. It's a chain I've always wanted to try, and the sandwiches were really good, EXCEPT, I prefer a softer sub roll. My son has braces, and he was freaking out about messing them up on the "hard bread." Didn't stop him from polishing off a "Big T," though! Overall, it's EASILY got Quizno's and Subway beat in terms of meat quality, flavor, and quantity. Love Primo's and this is our home base for Primo's since it's closest to our abode. We don't dabble in different types of sandwiches, we stick with their best offering, the turkey diablo. Love the spice, the crusty roll, the generous helping of turkey. It's a delicious sandwich which the whole family enjoys, a rarity for sure. We never agree on food! Why not 5 stars? Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's not. They really lack consistency here. Our biggest complaint is usually the lack of toppings and meat/cheese on the hoagies. Primo hoagies makes an awesome sandwich. However, the customer service I received on my last visit at this location was so poor it has earned 1 star from me. I ordered a sandwich for pickup and came to the shop with only a credit card unaware of their required $ minimum (which is more than a sandwich). I handed they guy behind the counter my credit card and I immediately received an attitude. Again - I was unaware of their CC minimum and if it was explained to be nicely I would have purchased chips or something else to put me over the limit. This guy, whom I believe was the owner, proceeds to go on a rant as he swipes my card is disgust. In front of other customers and the staff at the shop he says its people like me that make running his shop so difficult and continues to go on about how I should be aware of the shops rules. I was in disbelief. It must be even more difficult to run your shop when customers, like me, stop showing up. I highly recommend checking out the Little King Sandwich shop directly across the street from this place. AVOID this location!!!!!!!!! Let me 1st say Primo's hoagies are great but the owners here are ABSOLUTE JERKS! I walked in for the 1st time to this location. The VERY FIRST thing I hear / see is the old lady holding her hand over the phone and cursing about a customer. It only went downhill from there. I then see her touching things including her hair then right over to the hoagies and touching them! DISGUSTING!!! That's only the beginning, total chaos on who was next in the lack of line. Finally my hoagie was done and I went to pay with a coupon. The coupon was from my mother's house who live about 2 miles from this location. The old man begins to belittle me in front of everyone that this WAS a primo's coupon BUT not for here. I'm a grown man and he was yelling at me as if I was his son. It took everything I had in me not to jump over the counter and crush this JERK! He could have calmly explained it to me OR took the coupon as a goodwill gesture. Instead he acted like a TOTAL AZZ! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I not only received horrible service from the staff but in particular the OWNER himself. When the made a sandwich incorrectly and delivered it to my job, the phone order taker actually said "we're busy, we'll just make it up to you next time." After insisting that the proper sandwich be delivered, I was told it will take an hour. The OWNER himself re-delivered the sandwich. After meeting him in the lobby at the hospital, he demanded I return back up to the department to retrieve the sandwich and absolutely refused to give me the new sandwich until then. They've messed up our order here, but the last time it was hard to ignore so we called to complain. I asked for EXTRA mayo, and my sandwich had NO mayo! We asked for a big bag of chips, they brought us a small bag to share amongst 4 of us. We also ordered a 2-liter soda, they didn't bring a soda AT ALL...so you see why this time we called to complain. We were told that we would be credited the next time we placed a order. Today we decided to give them another try, because we like Primo's, and they're closest to our office. When we called to place the order the guy on the other end was just RUDE! We explained what happened prior about the credit the "manager" claimed he would honor us the next time we placed an order, and he basically interrogated us like we were lying! In the middle of making our order we were hung up on, than when we called back, and he basically rushed us the whole time while taking our order, talking over us, just rude. They didn't have wheat bread...like HOW?! He made that clear by saying "We haven't had wheat bread since the first of the year!!"
